Primrose Kok – Profile

Hello,

I am a new member just joined SHC recently.  I am a retired school teacher in my late fifties, still single.  During my leisure, I indulge in avid reading, playing badminton, attending dance classes (line dancing), as well as watching television, cross-stich embroidery and cooking Cantonese food.

I have a cheerful personality, though rather aloof or proud in hectic youthful teaching days.

I will be participating in a few of the activities organised by SHC.  I hope to fine sincere, matured friends and enjoy their company.

Cheers

  5. Hello Primrose,

Welcome aboard.I used to live at Primrose Avenue off Evergreen Gardens in the East until 3 years ago.Perhaps you might want to consider buying a property there(named after you huh?)
Primrose is the name of a yellow flower and I had often wished I could grow them in my Primrose home. But then bougainvilleas are hardier and easier to grow in sunny Singapore

Some people I meet always pronounce it as “prime-rose” until I no longer care to correct them.
