From the last trading club gathering, it appears interesting to have attendees bring along their notebooks and laptops. We can share our knowledge on trading platforms. It does not matter which company you are using to trade forex or stocks. Perhaps, next year, when we have more people interested, we can split into different groups – forex and equities.

Owing to devmts. up North and in Europe, many ppl are tested tonight. Like many, I am also glued to the screen. It bght out an important pointer – those trading fin pdts wld do well to bounce off ideas fm one another. There are such forums on the internet. We have the advantage of having live discussions such as the one planned for Thursday 25thNov. This is a good opportunity to share. We can review many aspects : comparisons of brokers/platforms, usefulness of popular tech analytical tools, whereabouts to obtain sound fundamentals, practical aspects of trading – our habits, special strategies based on courses or self dev tactics and of course, our mkt outlook. I looked fwd to meeting other members and hope that you will take this opportunity to come forth and share.

So, how are our trades doing? N Korea just shelled 200 artillery on S Korea’s Yeonpyeong island. Asian markets went into a shock.
Will Ireland bite and accept emergency aid from the European union and the IMF on Nov 21. We all know how painful IMF bailout can severely test a country’s resolve. Why support the European banks?
