  1. Hi Fellow Members,

Received some queries and wish to clarify as follows:

    1. Cost: Yes is S$78.00 for 3 days 2 night stay and not per night.

    2. Why not post next month: Previouly experience transport fully taken up and have to book with another agent. The pick-up point is further from their prefered one.

    3. Activities: Is free and easy. On your own or follow suggestion.

    4. Booking: Yes,I can book for you.

    Cheers! Live Well! :)

  2. Hi Johnny
We(my wife & I)will also be going to Genting on that day However I never go on package. I just buy the bus tickets from WTS. My 4N hotel stay at Highlands is always free as I use my GP points to book for the room. We spend our time there visiting the Cheng Swee Temple (transport is free from FWH.), going down to KL shopping district,-BB Plaza Lot 10 and Sugei Wang Plaza. We will watch the free live shows available at the main casino, Latte Monte Carlo or at FW in the evenings. We also go to the casino for a flutter but my wife hardly plays the jackpot machines.
By the way taking a taxi down to KL is expensive. Just buy a ticket from the booth to go to Titiwangsa for RM 5.90 and hop on the monorail to KL centre. It’s just as fast because it is an express bus service.
See you there. If you need more info contact me.

    Cheers
    Roy

  3. Hi Tong Seng,

Very interesting. Actually the last trip we wanted to take the skytrain route but was under service. The other bus service at main entrance got to wait long long. However we got a bargain for RM200 two way for four. We use the free shuttle for dinner trip but never been to Cheng Swee Temple. Can follow you. Please email me at powjohnny@yahoo.com so I can contact you.

    Cheers and stay healthy! :)

  4. Hi Johnny Pow,

Pls. let me know your account no to e transfer the you the cost of this tour.

Thanks for this lobang too and it was nice to meet you and your wife at the Chinese Garden walk. :)

    Goodnight.

  5. Hi Steven Chan,

Thank you for your interest to join us in the next month Genting’s trip. Beside the concert and going to the casino, we can also find time to relax, chit chat and drink above the cloud. :)

What I suggest is to wait for another two weeks, gather all those interested before proceeding to book. This package required minimum two person to a room.

As at today, there are 6 wanting to go Genting also.

Yes, if you can have your SHC friends joining in so much the better. :)

Don’t forget about the North Indian food. :)

    Stay Healthy! Be Happy! :)

  6. Hi Johnny

Thanks for the post. I’ve signed up with Five Stars Tours at the recent Travel Malaysia Fair for 25-27 June. We were also thinking of catching FREEZE. Any idea on the pricing?

Also, where is the North Indian Food, as mentioned above?

    Thanks.

    Cheerios!

  7. Hi Vivien,

    Thank you for your response.

Is your 25-27 June also to Genting? FST also offer the package we are going.

We pay S$78.00 for twin sharing room, i.e minimum two person to a room. Transport, concert ticket, breakfast and insurance all included.

If what you book is the same as us, we hope to meet you there. Beside going for the concert and casinoes, we can find time to relax, drink, chit chat above the cloud. :)

Before going there I will pass on my malaysian number so fellow members taking different coach can contact me.

Regarding the North Indian food, I have to follow-up with Steven Chan. Central Square? What I heard is that for $5.00 we got a wide choice of vegetarian food. Previously he went with a big group of SHCians. This time we try to gather about eight. Suggested a week day. Less crowd.

  8. Hi Johnny Pow @ 7,

I think you have misunderstood me . It is NOT $5 per person as this organisation runs with this policy. You can donate as much as you like, there is NO fix price.

Note: There is no fixed price for our dining menu in Annalakshmi.
It is “Eat what you Want and Give as you Feel” concept.
This is our principle in Annalakshmi.

This cosy air con restaurant that serves Northern Indian vegetarian buffet with good ambience and good service too although all the employees are volunteers with a big smile.

I had been there a few times and once I was EO of this event.
Pls. click below to view photos the wonderful memories of SHC members
    ( 24th May 08 ) enjoying themselves.

Hi Sue Chan, heard from you that you enjoy Vegetarian buffet and you were the one that initiated me to be EO of this event , are you ready for the next one ?

  9. Hi Steven,

Thanks for correcting me or I will not feel good if all pay just $5 for the food at Annalakshmi. If I make this boo boo! during my army days, I sure to get blanket party.

Also nice of you to provide the link of the pictures of SHCians at this restauarant. I can’t wait to patronise this restaurant. Will catch up with you soon.

    Stay Healthy! Be Happy! :)
