SHC monthly gathering (Central) Wed Jun 20, 2012

We have had our monthly gatherings, for most times at Hans Cafe in the CBD.  At the same time, we have Robert Ong organising the Easterlies group, while Dan Huang is re-initiating the Westerlies group.  The East and the West groups appeal well to the retirees.

Well, back to the Central group.  These gatherings tend to appeal to the retirees during the early part of the gathering, starting at 4pm.  After 5 or 6pm, the timings appeal well to the still-working members.  For this gathering, I tend not to have an agenda or topic.

Regular members use this gathering as an opportunity to meet one another, as well as meet new ones.

New members come and introduce themselves to other members.  New members can introduce themselves on this Post, so that others will know them before the gathering.

  1. Venue:  Hans Cafe, at Upper Pickering Street. Ground floor, at the back half of the cafe.
  2. Agenda:  Getting to know new and more SilverHairs.
  3. Date:  Wed Jun 20, 2012
  4. Time:  1600 hrs to 2030 hrs.
  5. Charge:  No fee.
  6. F&B:  Pick and pay whatever you like at the counter.
  7. Strictly for registered SHC members only.  All members are required to bring their own name tag.  If you need to make your own name tag, CLICK HERE.

This gathering is a good opportunity to catch up with other Event Organisers EOs on their activities.  If you like to meet some interest groups, again good to raise them here, so that they can contact you.

And if you need to know the latest updates on the Arabian nights, I am sure you can ask some of the committee members who may be coming to this gathering.  Of course, if you like to chat about the Thailand trips, let’s have a chat.  Any thing from fleamarts to it topics, to walks to cycling or potlucks, karaoke, etc. And favourites like retirement issues, investments, …..

  3. Hi long time no see, Terence. I shall drop in for dinner around 6 pm, with some students, after visiting the Comm-Asia and Broadcast Asia shows (@MBS/Suntec). We shall sit away, while I say hello to my old friends.

  12. Apa macam Nor, calling the “chonburi” gang…MAS gang,like that don’t go also cannot. Tomorrow, “cepat cepat” do your work quickly…then we can “calibot” early and start our journey…. :)
