On behalf of the founders of the SilverHairsClub, I would take this occasion to wish all SilverHairs a Happy and prosperous Lunar New Year.
You may not hear it, but the fireworks have started. The kids are putting tin cans over small crackers placed in the ground. Long strings of red crackers are hung across the front of the houses, ready for the seniors to lit. Everybody dresses in red, pony tails for the kids. Lots of loud voices, running around. A grand reunion dinner awaits generations of families this lunar new year eve.
