Wow! I’m overwhelmed by the responses! I’ve been rollerblading since the 80s. I ice-skated too when Fuji Ice Palace was around then. I don’t ice-skate anymore since it takes more time to get to the location, and more gear to lug around.
I don’t mind to teach you all some basics, like walking on blades, simple gliding, stopping, falling properly. I don’t need to go all the way to the NS Resort as long as I do some distance workout, back and forth, in betw coaching. The rest of you who wish to learn will need to be practising the basics while I’m working out. I believe that’ll work out just fine. Pls use guards; I guarantee you will need to fall to learn anything, but as long as you’re ‘covered’, you’ll do fine.
I’m assuming everyone is ok for Sunday, 9 am is about ok for me. Meeting place can be anywhere, but I usually park my bike either in betw the chalets and the pond or the bike stands at the Food Ctr. My mobile: 9-489-3778 (Hannah Chiang). I use a visor to ward off as much pigmentation as possible. I also listen to classical music or 90.5fm and take extra pre-caution when around kids on wheels; these kids have quick reflexes not based on response to danger but on a whim!
I finish around 12:30. We could have a bite or drinks at the Food Ctr before we head home. How’s this sound to you?

Hi Hannah
I missed your 1st coaching session with my crazy kakis – Caroline, Ah Nee and Nor last Sunday.
I cycle or jog to East Coast Park between 7am – 9am on most of the Saturday morning.
I am interested to roller-blade but can only meet up on Sundays after Mid October.
Look forward to meeting you :)
Hi Hannah
The earlier post was posted by me, Rene Leong NOT Venika.
As I had helped Venika to post an IT learning course yesterday and I forgotten to logout.
Pai Seh, Pai Seh for the confusion.
Cheers
Rene
