KK Yeo – Profile

Hi SHC members,

Greetings from KK Yeo,  60 going onto 61 ( year of the Dog ).

Just back from China work contract – hence my late registration and introduction. For the past years I have followed the SHC activities and news from afar.  Now I can look forward to meeting you via some forthcoming activites.

My leisure interest (hobbies) are playing golf, karoake, fish (tropical) keeping. Work-wise, I have also embarked on a new interest (field ) of Headhunting ( Executive Search ),  Still cannot retire…. keep the body and mind active.

Best Rgds,

KK Yeo

  1. Hi KK Yeo,

Welcome to the SHC. I am sure you will enjoy playing golf with Ron Wie one of our many golfing members here or do your “karaoke” with our ever eager flock of song birds!

    Have fun,
    Edwin Chen

  2. Within 48 hours, we read the profiles of 2 Yeos…..Jane and now KK. We can never hv enough of the good Yeos.

Into history, we can see that the Yeo clan is famed….Her Excellency Yeo (Yang) Gui Fei, the Yeo (Yang) family of selfless generals, and, at home, Yeo Hiap Seng whose food many fed on to grow up, write & post here.

You’re into headhunting. My ex was from borneo and she’s well connected with the first & best of headhunters there so if you wish some kind of affiliation with the penghulu, do let me know……….they really can cut it clean & complete. fast and no dangling.

We do need help & will bet on you to be a good volunteer in SHC and so look to you for that little yeoman service….ok?

    Welcome, KK.

  4. Hi KK,
Welcome. I’m new too. You are right about not retiring. Anyway, what is “retiring”? Different people have different views about it. It’s good to keep working, but not full time. I know of several people, mainly males, who fall ill after retiring and fade away very quickly. Perhaps they viewed retirement as “imminent death”? We should view retirement as a time to do the things that we couldn’t when we were busy with our work and family. Now’s the time to relax and have some fun.
So have fun and have a great day!
    Mary

  5. Very the aslamak, man !

You (KK) and Dick put up profiles abt the same time as Mary did but see, how good her business is?

    How how bad yours are?

Heee, if we guys return 18 years later still reincarnated as guys, then we must post our profiles with smthg like “Marilyn Monroe TTL – Profile”. Business sure good one………..

  6. Hi KK,

Glad to hear from you. As someone who has been working in China, can you share with us the opportunities in China. What kind of opportunities, business or work, do you see for SilverHairs?

The other part of your profile says you are looking into headhunting. Tell us a bit more about it. As you know, Blue Helet has a focus on work for non-working SilverHairs.

  7. Hi KK Yeo
welcome to SHC. whereabouts did you work in China and the nature of work? (i.e. if you do not mind sharing). At least ‘ni ee jing shang un le’ (you reached the river bank). Good future in scope of ‘recruitment’ too. All the very best.

  8. Hi Yeo,

    How do you do?

I am also interested to play Golf and used to play at OCC or Bishan Driving range once a week. Do let me know if you are keen to play with you a game or more, Cheers!
