  1. Marg

I have registered Grace Tay in our trip and sharing the room with you.

Thanks for introduce a member to our trip. Can you give me her e-mail address for contact or just use your one?

    Grace, welcome to join us.

  2. June,

As it stands, the score is 23-3 with Venus taking an unassailable lead and Mars probably marching into the marsh for a mud bath (Mars may be down this time but never count them out ok………)

I promise to revert mid-wk and here I am.

The decision is yours to make and this is how it works.

If you room-share with me, I go; if that is not possible even with Merlin waving his magical wand & winking at you anxiously then I wont get to go lor.

I trust fate and now my fate is in your hands.

(Understand that the organiser has set closing at end of September 2007 so you have another 3 days to decide on my fate………..)

  3. Yes Yes am putting your name in!!

Folks who are joining the trip…yeah u get to hear soulful Cantonese songs from dear Tim ie if we can get into Karoke pubs at nite :-))

Dear Tim, I would love to be your roommate but then I snore so very loudly :-)) To spare u the agony, I let u choose a better roommate…YewKwong, Dan or dear Andrew?

  4. Dear June,

You know why my bed-mate by the name of Seah KS had the sijori pool to himself at 5 a.m.?

Kiasu? Not at all……….he just cant stand my snoring which sounded like one releasing gas after a feast on onions.

So yr snore & my snore is a match made in heavens……..lucky you to hv found me.

YK, DH & AY are good room-mates but if there’s a 1-in-a-lifetime choice, I am sure they’ll understand, support me with cheers & beers, and wait for their turns not to sleep with me but for that gilded diamond opportunity.

  5. Wow Tim…if we sleep tog DYNAMITE man!!! but then we should not frighten off the patrons of Colmar Tropicale and Federal Hotel. No choice we got to sleep apart.

I will pair u up with one of our dear men. :-)))

  6. Seriously, June, i am still no wiser whether the exams will be over by 2 Nov, despite making several frantic calls to the school which cd only tell me that the year-end holidays start after 16 Nov.

In any case, pls book me for a single room then……this will afford me the chance to let someone sneak in without having to ask my butties to go for a long long walk till noon the next day……..

  7. And if the exams not over by 2 Nov, then how?
No No I will hold the booking of the room for you, for you alone dear Tim.
Once u know whn exam ends, u let me know if you can make it or not.
If you can’t join us for this trip, many of us will miss u but there is always another time :-))).

  8. June dear, when I said “pls book me a single room” heee, I’ll pay for it, come what may….wont chau lor one.

As if it was only yesterday when ID took on BFID at netball and despite yr Lipak Ahseng blocking me, I still managed to steal a peek at you b4 sending the ball out.

And it touches me most tenderly to read yr “…I will…. for you alone dear Tim…..”

(Terence, you got tissue papers for my eyes? Aiyah, for that you want to charge $1, sibei no brudder man !).

Haha, so only many miss will miss me which means that the few misters are mulling over what to do with me?

Pls consider me as firm and pls proceed according to schedule subject, however, to me being displaced if 4 SHCians come in to make the 30 by confirmation date.

(June, you’ve worked very hard on this trip so no qn that I’ll only be a step behind you shd you take the walk at si chong kai aka jln petaling).

  9. Whn u book yourself in, I knew u were supporting me as first time organiser and that u are aware of the min 30 pax to go:-).

You are so kind dear Tim.

It is really ok. At the end of the week, I will try negotiate with trvel agent to go ahead with our less than min 30. If Ok, we go. If not ok, we no go. Simple :-)

If the trip is confirmed, I will let u know. Once you know whn your girl’s exams ends, u tell me whether u can join in or not. OK? OK! Thnks for the support. YOu go man!!

  10. Heeee, where got so cheap a deal…….at $38.00 (purposely add 2 zeros to make it look big but still so small leh), got 1 nite to coma away then another nite in a federated hotel in a happening city (June dearie sponsoring the rest hor, haha, like that tim becomes 1-kind liao).

Seriously, i am no more than another “tripster” so I’ll go along with the rest & with what ultimately is the case with the tour agents,

    Thanks, June !

  11. Alright…the trip to Colmar/KL, 2-4 Nov is confirmed. Phew!! 26 pax to go. I will be emailing to all 25 fellow members to make the payment to YewKwong, real soon.

Yeah we gonna hve a swell time in Nov!!!

  12. Sweet Tim..frankly I didn’t do much. Was only rather worried that the trip became a no go and that would be disppointing to me as first time organiser and to those who wanted to go :-))

Luckily I had dear Andrew who felt my anxiety and he told me to take it easy :-))).

    Phew, it ended well :-))

  13. Candy Sweet June,

Heeee, it’s only the beginning so it’s early days for you to say it ended well.

Andrew is dedicated so you do have a good help by your side.

When the dust finally settles, do reward him with candy, he too loves candy sweet candy.

  21. Hi June,

Appreciate your taking precious time to drop me an email in the midst of your busy work…I can either transfer the amount thru POSB ATM or preferably bring cash on the 18th meeting 2nd session…coz I don’t have internet banking account…let me know which you prefer…Thanks!
