    This lunch arranged by our Peranakan cuisine expert looks yummilicious ~ can I join in the lunch although I’m not a bedminton (oops badminton) player? Can I get a lift from the Bt Gombak MRT station or whichever mrt station is convenient along the way? Terimah Kasih ….

    At this moment, my schedule is free. You and the group have perservered in keeping the badminton group going.

    Please put my name down as coming.

    For members who have not joined the badminton group, you might like to meet the group and take up badminton, come join their anniversary lunch. If you are free, I think it would be nice to come too.

    We will also be having Awards Ceremony for the following:
    1. Most “Attentive” Player – {erm.. meaning the one who is attends most of the sessions}
    2. Best “Dressed” Player – 2 awards
    3. Most “Valuable” Player

    Come and be surprised – you may also win an “Award” just for being there :)
    For those without transport to the restaurant, just make your way to Gombak MRT, walk to the indoor stadium and find us at courts 2 or 3. Get there by about 12.45pm.
    We will arrange for those who drives to fetch everyone to the restaurant – but please register under Pat’s blog so that we know who needs transport.

  5. Heard about some monkey from Pasir Ris journey to the West.
    ‘Sifu’ summon to accompanied this journey.
    Will set out at day break to arrived the mountain of Gombak before 10am for training with regular fellow disciples and witness the 2 years graduation celebration. Thereafter will assist in the harvest of Peranakan Buah Keluak, Babi Ponteh, NGOH Hiang, itik Sioh,Chap chye, Bakwan Kepiting from the garden of Binjai.

  9. 3 cheers to inez for her personal commitment to the badminton group and playing, whether busy or overseas she still make sure that courts are booked, folks are accommodated and training are endured; to our health and wealth. a little indulgence today is in order to keep us motivated. badminton is still one of the most economical, safe and heart pumping exercise. please note that there are 2 sessions now per week. you won’t faint even if you do more often a week, so do come, play and socialize. don’t just eat and fossilized
