  2. Hi Danz/KK,

There are 3 Badminton sites currently and it may be confusing as sometimes members post in different ones.

May I suggest that the 2 obsolete sites be deleted?

    For your consideration, please.

  8. Hi KK,

Thanks for booking, yes will be coming, but have to leave early.

Calling Helen, Mano and all those new SHC members who are badminton players, KK has arrange for you all to really have a smashing time. Just wear proper court shoes and warm up before playing.

  9. Badminton this Sunday as usual at CSC Tessensohn. 11.00am to 1.00pm, Court 4.

Terence, this time it worse than the ‘Titanic’ way, way down!

    Danz

  10. James, we do hv badminton activists here and our standards are abt the same, not considered good in the sense that no one can hit the other by a 5-0 difference in the score margin.

The fun is in the sweat-out and tumbling around on court.

  11. I live in the far east. Ha ha

I am a CSC members and only Tessensohn Road CSC has badminton court. Bukit Batok CSC Club house do not have badminton courts.

Most CC courts are not suitable for badminton games. They are more suitable for functions like prises ceremony or stage show. You get wind blowing across the court and the shuttle sway when it is hit high up. Sometimes, children played around and run across the court or you have to bring your own net. If you can get a booking easily around that area and not too bad, and with all regulars agreeing, it can be considered.

Currently, I know one stay at Serangoon Gardens and two at Ang Mo Kio and one took a bus from Upper Aljunied area. So it may be too far for these chaps.
Why not join us at one day and meet the others and if they are agreeable, can try.

  12. Hi,

The next badminton game on 6 April 08 is at Kallang CC from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Kallang CC is next to Boon Keng MRT Station behind Macdonalds.

  13. Badminton court at Court 1 booked at Civil Service Club for next Sunday 30 Mar 2008 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Mollie Tan is unable to join us for next 3 weeks

  14. Kk is shy so I’ll do him a brief biography.

Standing at abt 1.72 cm (abt 0.12208375 cm taller than our founder singh), he’s suave, affable and makes a good partner for both genders.

He brushes his teeth in the morning, after meals, eats, drinks, washes his silverhairs and does what we all normally do.

But he has 1 bad habit……………he likes to book badminton courts at Tessensohn rd which i find it lache to go.

To mothers with good unmarried daughters, here is a guy you shd not miss.

  15. Hi Dan and Terence,

    Hi Terence and Dan,

I have joined your gathering once at Changi Beach Club but did not participate in other activities that were organised. Many of my weekends are quite busy and I am still struggling to eke out my existence on weekday.

Other than those regular badminton players, I have met Ms Gingko, Mr Tim and Ms Rene.

For the love of the game and also the meeting of a group of young great guys and gals with the same good stamina and skill, I try to continue the booking and organising the game. But as booking the courts are online, I may not be so lucky at times to meet the expectation of the members.

  16. Hi KK,

When you have some time, please introduce yourself on this forum, so that we get to know you better. Trying writing a profile of yourself.
