Men’s night – Tue 20 May 2008 evening

Men’s nite is confirmed for Tue 20 May 2008 evening

Not too sure if a Men’s night is a great idea to be discussed on this website; but it definitely is a desired and hmm why-not? event.  The idea of a men’s night popped up recently, in response to the participation at the  thai disco, the geylang trip and the imbalance of the sexes during main activities.

So, I pick up this discussion point, and let’s see if we can really attract more men to an event, if it was purely a men’s night.  Nothing sexist about it; but a pure survey turned into a real event.  So far, informal feedback hmm pretty exciting.

So, all the men would you come to a men’s night?  Got no idea yet where the venue or what the night would be all about.  So, let’s start with a date, Tue 20 May 2008 evening.  I shall be in town.

Share your ideas on what we can do.  We will probably pick one of the following.  A night out at a old fashion or oldies bar.  Watching a soccer match together in a kopitiam.  Having an investment discussion before the US market opens.  Or having a karaoke session somewhere.

  2. Hi Ann To at #1 ,

….Hi Terence,You may have found the key. Wish you & yr Men’s Night a success. Enjoy. What key ?
    Chastity keys.LOL

    SC

  3. I’ll be there at the inaugural session. I’ve been a member of men only clubs (Hash House Harriers, Rotary Club) and with due respect to women, men can have fun among themselves :-)

  4. I’m a man, so sure have to attend the men’s night. No matter what kind of activities, I can take part. Will prepare an opener to open my eyes on that night.

Steven, don’t just LOL, must join if you are a man, LOL.

  5. Hi Andrew Y at #5,

When it come to ativities, I am particularly concern.

And so EO for MEN’s night, pls confirm
    what activity is on?

    Thanks

  6. Hi guys,

The likely meeting place will be at Raffles Place, 7 pm. This will be a gathering for the 1st Men’s night at a regular cafe. We meet for two hours, until 9pm.

After that, we can decide to adjourn elsewhere.

If you have some time, and like to meet the other guys, please put your name here. I shall put up a tentative list, in the Post.

  7. Hi Terence at # 7 ,

The Coffee Club besides the Raffles Place square is a good hangout place for men’s night. The coffee is aromatic and the place has good ambience.

Bonus too, we can sit in the open and see SYT walking past as they are leaving their offices to return home by MRT.

Is this the regular club you had mention the Coffee Club?

    Pls. reply.
    Thanks

    SC.

  8. Hi Steven, the Coffee Club at Raffles Place is a great place. I take note. Will advise closer the date. Trying to think something crazy.

Guys, any advice? And, if you are free, join in the Men’s night.

    Terence Seah

  9. Hi CharlesC,

Have registered you. Keep your thoughts open, as this is the 1st Men’s night. So, we keep the chat to man’s talk. Suggestions welcome from all guys.

    Terence Seah

  10. Terence,

Will join in after work. Besides Coffee club, another good place for dinner would be Beng Thin Hokkien restaurant at 5th floor OCBC building. They have many round tables seating, 10 ppl per table, cost would be around $20-30 per head,

  11. It’s fallacious for women to think that when men meet without their being around, men are up to no good, ogle women and eventually sin. And bcos women verily believe that this is the case, they want to get even with men, and so some of the women, not men, really sin.

Once in a while, men can live without women, and enjoy their time-out happily as the shackles are loosened, their ears are bothered less by noises & nags as they rediscover freedom.

Return the men must to their women bcos without women, men cant show their ego which is delightfully accepted by women as manhood. And women like manhood.

Tentatively, I am on for this Men’s Nite.

  12. Good idea, Jonathan at #14.

Beng Thin has a central location with excellent Hokkien “home cooked cuisine”.

Easy on fellowship too! Then count me in, Terence.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

  13. Terence

How does a Men’s Night solve the “imbalance of the sexes” situation at SHC functions? This night will just see another imbalance, in fact, an extreme case of imbalance.

Hmmm, let me see how we can improve this. Let’s say 15 guys sign up for this. Then you invite 15 ladies to sign up. Then you have a completely balanced night. And call it Was Men’s Night.

Problem solved…until the men write in one by one to say they can’t attend because uhmmm, what excuses do men give ah?

    Joy

  14. Hi Joy,

I am actually trying to find out how many men will participate in a Men’s night. Sure, this night will be totally unbalanced. I hope the response to this Men’s night will give added confidence to future Event Organisers.

How about a private and fun bet? I say 50 men will attend this Men’s night. Below 50, I buy you a Spy Classic drink. 50 and above, you buy me a Black Label whiskey with ice and soda. But, you still won’t be invited for the Men’s night. Got to wait another day. Deal?

    Terence Seah

  15. Joy

Nid no wori. Just go n clone 50 lookalike Terences n sure u will win e bet.

Btw, there is always a gd balance of sexes at all SHC’s functions. Gd xample, the gals can dance among themselves w/o male partners. Rite!!!

  16. Who says no balance? You hv 2 & I hv 2, she has 2 too so it’s all balanced. Do raise yr hands if you dont 2 tto balance.

“MEN’s night is EXCLUSIVE for the guys only to talk “things” gals do not wish to hear about”. So Steven, you want to talk abt how long how elastic yours is huh? Reminds me of a riddle that goes like this.

Men have it and obviously their fathers too have it. Some have it longer, some shorter and my negro butty emanueladebayor has it very long. Mine is a bit shorter than Steven’s. Your wife loves it and is not shy to use it and altho virtuous women covet in envy for it, they cant have it. So what’s it?

  17. No AndrewK, you can take pride of place for once, that yours is longer than mine but no longer than Steven’s.

JaneW, yalor, that thing hanging there gave him more than to slip away…….now we men hv learned from him & will wear another set of clothes over to escape the eyes planted everywhere by our wives/gfs, and than hang our baju kurung on a tree to give the impression that we’re somewhere in the deep forest sightseeing when we’re in gayland seeing sights…………

  18. Hi Tim Kor,

…..“MEN’s night is EXCLUSIVE for the guys only to talk “things” gals do not wish to hear about”. So Steven, you want to talk abt how long how elastic yours is huh?

    …Mine is a bit shorter than Steven’s.
Did you peek at me while I pee, otherwise how come you know ?

Hey, Tim this kind of PRIVATE talk cannot be discussed in our Forum leh.

That’s why Terence has set aside an EXCLUSIVE MEN’s night where you can “blarred” as much as you want without any interference from the ladies.

You make me feel embarassed by discussing it openly in the forum.

Like Norlinda says, better be handsome than “humsup” and it holds true.

    SC

  19. Hahaha!!

    Men’s night, indeed!!

What are you guys gonna do??

    Something daring, something impossible?

Or is it only some laughs over a beer?

  20. Kenneth @ 27

We can start a Sundown mini Biathlon in nude ver n ends wif a beach party fills wif booze n music.

    Venue : Telok Paku, off Tanah Merah/Changi. Time : Commence 2 pm. Swim : 200 m. Run : 200 m.

Can oso play fun games. If dun hv, we can rub each others’ backs 4 a start.

  21. Hi Terence at #18

Hmmm…bad deal. Either way I lose because me ain’t much of a drinker and had to google to find out what a Spy Classic drink is.

Last night, in Dan’s car (I was in the backseat), I hatched a plan (no no, no baby will be hatched). Oh, by the way, Dan was in the driver’s seat and there were three other ladies with us. We were on the way back from dance class. Oh, what an anti-climax.

Tsk tsk, what a distraction. Now, back to the plan. If you see Dan in a very baggy baju melayu, be suspicious, be very suspicious. Someone could be clinging on inside, hoping to hear what the guys talk about.

Aiya, actually me just playing the fool in the forum. Not interested to know what the guys talk at Men’s Night. May the 50 men enjoy yourselves. And maybe round the corner, 50 women are having their Women’s Night. And after that will be the Mixed Doubles Night. Wah!

    Joy

  22. Joy,

I think I am getting the idea of Mixed Doubles. Now, first, Spy Classic is a ladies drink, with a little alcohol, enough to give one a good sleep. One day, will get you a bottle.

And, sure I look forward to our Men’s night.

    Terence Seah

  23. Joy,
Yalor, mai care si mi Men’s nite or mixed doubles outing, let them have their way 4 dat nite lor. We can always come up wif “Ladies’ Stewpigity Nite” solely for Ladies.. watching exotic dances by si beh sui tar bo lor.. ai mai?

  24. Hi Jonathan,

Can you recommend a place at Raffles Place, that we can start with early after work. We can have a round of happy hour drinks there, before we move off for dinner. Standing room ok.

    Terence Seah

  25. Terence

The popular waterholes at Raffles Place are:-

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub, Harry’s Bar, Penny Black, Superfamous, Indochine etc etc

  26. Frankly, compared with our SHC gals, they’re a lot more organised. We mooted our idea long ago; they started theirs only a day ago and already know where to go.

We’re disorganised but we like it. We can just stand there and soon many TTL lang lui will walk up to ask and say “let’s go” and so hv our work cut-out………

Heee, our gals must prepare like hell knowing first that they just cant stand around so freely in free spore and second, even when asked “gp where”, they will start running for home, no grin but face green green………

  27. Hi Jonathan,

How abt Paulaner Brauhaus near Suntec City where dey serve fresh brew light and dark German beer. There is also live music but sori no pole dancing. After our happy hours, we can have dinner upstairs dat serve pig’s knuckles, thuringer sausages, meatballs, sauerkaus etc, etc.
Dis is my recommend only..no potong jalan.

    Terence : I will join u guys

    Cheers, Dennis W

  28. DennisW,

Got your name down. As for the place, let’s decide end of next week.

When you say happy hour, what’s the deal. Somehow, I love MRT nearness.

    Terence Seah

  29. “…..but sori no pole dancing..” DennisW, is that a problem?

With you around, and with me around giving you a pole, you can do the pole dancing impromptu…sumokong style can, mad monk zai kung style also can, can can style lagi can………..

  30. Dennis@36,
No pj here. Terence is the EO, I am just helping to assist with recommendations. All recommendations always welcome ;-)

I understand where Terence is coming from also…Raffles Place MRT is central & convenient to commute to & fro anywhere.

  31. Tim @ #38

Why so tame. The Ladies are even doing better.

    I book first.

If its the other Dennis, we are booking him as lead for belly dancing at the next flea market and Ladies’ Arabian Nights at Bali Lane.

How much would you bribe us for slotting you in for exotic male dance in gorilla suit? Your last chance. We will script you to win over Tarzan for Jane’s hand.

Quick, quick. I am finalising quote this weekend.

    Hee-hee

  32. Terence @ #37. The place is abt 10 mins walk from the City Hall MRT stn thru the Citylink Mall. Anyway it is only a suggestion. Will chk on the deal 4 happy hour.

Tim @ #38 we can do 2geder on pole dancing any style also can… hehehe

    Jonathan 2 # 39..no worries

    Cheers, Dennis

  33. Well, DennisW, it’ll be a riotous nite to remember. KT is bringing his gorilla to fight us the sumokongs, with DennisH as the grossly underweight sumo wrestler doubling up together with KT (he told us so in #40) as the erotic dancers competing for the hand of Jane. Kneeling in a row are the cha bos saluting us in their doggy pattern…………

  34. Terence
I cannot take part in the man’s night, as I’ve join the Vietnam trip from 10 May to 25 May.

Hope you all have a riotous nite (Tim #42) to remember.

  35. Hi Tim Liao at ,

…..Kneeling in a row are the cha bos saluting us in their doggy pattern…………

    What are you implying ?
    D.S. ?

    SC

  36. AndrewY, while we riot here you start the riot in vietnam, and we wd synchronise the time. The penalties there and here are about the same but you’ll have a lot of farming to do there, vietnam being still an agrarian society while our doing time here may be cut short thru the grille-less toilets………..

Jokes aside, do have a good trip.

StevenC, what I implied was what you always hv in mind and what you always hv in mind is too shy even for the most humsup guy to say.

Got it? Heee, certainly it’s not Dog Shitting lah…………which dog kneels to shit?

  37. Hi Men’s nite participants,

As of now, we have 20 men planning to come to the Men’s night. If you think you are coming, please put your name on the registration list, so I have an idea how many are coming.

This evening will be free and easy, get to know one another, with happy hours early, followed by a later dinner. Place definitely will be at Raffles Place. 20 May 2008.

    Terence Seah

  38. Hi Terence

Can consider the Beng Hiang Hokkien Resturant, 5th Flr – OCBC, for dinner please.

Believe they serve the “black Hokkien mees” with vinegar and other historic cuisines.

Will join in the dinner discussion.

    Cheers,

  39. 27 men have tentatively indicated they would join men’s night. Guys, please give a few more suggestions for Happy hour and dinner.

Happy hour – preferably standing, and can move around, and chat.
Dinner – simple, round table, not expensive, at or near Raffles Place.

    Terence Seah

  40. Hi Terence

Wahlau eh Terence, in open forum just say to come will do lah ( :-) ), no need to say anything about exam papers, that is for your private consumption, ha! ha!

Anyway, definitely interested, unless something urgent comes up.

    cheers

    sb

  41. Hi Jonathan #14,

Thanks a lot on the recommendation. Can you help me do a reservation for two tables at Beng Thin Hokkien restaurant, 5th floor OCBC building. Time: 2000 hrs, as we will go there after a round of happy hour somewhere. I have good feedback on your recommendation. Not so sure if the name is Beng Hiang Hokkien. Please have a look at when is the closing time. Can you help me look out for a dinner menu, say $20 per pax (drinks excluded). I hope this place is great for conversation among the men. I am not able to do a recce, as I am back Singapore day before.

Thanks AndrewK #47 too. Need to confirm if place name is Beng Hiang.

So, dinner place is confirmed. Now, to hunt down the happy hour venue. By the way, how far is OCBC building from Raffles Place. Don’t laugh, I really dont know.

    Terence Seah

  42. Hi Yew Kwong and Jonathan,

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub, Harry’s Bar, Penny Black, Superfamous, Indochine. Have been to only one, I love Harry’s though, but I am hoping to find quieter corners with standing room/happy hours.

Can you help pinpoint a bar, where we can move around, talk, chat, without too much loud noise, near Raffles place. Food, striptease action, band, all not required. Can just stroll in, buy own beer, and join the rest of the men.

    Terence Seah

  43. Terence, Re: Men’s Nite

For Happy Hour…Most are familiar with Harry’s Bar which is at the entrance of Boat Quay, so lets settle on this? There is also seating outside along the river to catch some cool breeze & sea views. http://www.harrys.com.sg/boatquay.htm

For Dinner…Will book Beng Thin at OCBC building, which is only 5 min walk across the road from Harry’s.

    http://www.toothangels.com/images/location_map.gif

As for dishes, will see if they can come up with a set menu for around $20-30 per pax (inflation everywhere!). Beng Thin closes at 10pm.

Should I book 2 tables (20ppl) or 3 tables (30 ppl) for dinner?

    Jonathan

  44. Hi Jonathan,

So be it. I think Harry is a good place too. Everybody pay for own drinks. We start at 6pm, and leave at 7.45 pm, for dinner at Beng Thin. Plse reserve 2 tables as confirmed. May go to 3 tables, a week before event.

    Jonathan, thanks for your help.

    Terence Seah

  45. Hi Terence,

As the programme has been firmed up, pls. count me in.

Can join you later at Raffles Place between 6.45 to 7 pm.I can only leave my school at 6pm.

See you there, guys for Men’s night.

    SC

  46. Terence & All going for the Men’s Niteout,

Have reserved 2 tables at 8pm at Beng Thin Restaurant(with option of 3rd table), under my name for those who are joining the group for dinner only.

    http://food.rumspace.com/2007/07/08/beng-thin-hoon-kee-hokkien-restaurant/

Bon Appetit, See you guys soon ;-)

  47. Thanks Jonathan,

Appreciate your help in doing the reservations. Excellent menu, all hokkien food. Let’s chat all the way.
For the guys who are coming, please have a look at the Post, and see if your name is there.

    Terence Seah

  48. Ah Nee,

All the dishes at Beng Thin is excellent. But I feel that they have reduced their portions like everything else. They used to give ‘compulsory dessert’ – peach and almond jelly at the end of the meal, for free. But now, they have stopped it. The oyster omelette is very crispy and yummy with huge oysters but my favourite is fish maw soup. Your mouth watering? We go next time?

  49. Lina,

Fish maw soup is my favourite too, my mother used to cook this soup during chinese new year. Ya lah, can only see the menu, next time we go there for real!

    Ah Nee

  50. Wah Jonathan, Ngo hiang roll and orr nee!!! To die for!
Very wicked of you to flaunt your menu for all the gals to salivate over. Drool.
Must go and get them myself.
Anyway, have a nice time. Hope you all put on another 4 kgs around your mid drift, hee hee.

  51. Steven,

Your eye “tak stamp” huh, Fish Maw Soup is at item 1 on the menu lah. Now is your turn to change your spectacle. Lina, can you cook fish maw soup?

    Ah Nee

  52. Hi Ah Nee,

I saw the earlier post but have not right scroll far down to see the MEN’s Hokkien Menu. That was why I was surprised when Lina suddenly mention abt. fish maw soup ?

You know it a tedious process to skim thru the 100 comments daily and not to mention to reply the comments. It takes at least 1/2 hr to quickly read thru 100 comments.

  53. Hi Ah Nee,

I cannot cook fish maw soup but I sure can eat. This soup is unlike the one we cook for Chinese New Year. It is very thick, full of fish maw and some crab roe on the top. You will not see any soup at all. So don’t expect to be slurping!

Actually, all the dishes here are very well done and delicious. Have to go eat to know what I mean. We go one day ok.

  54. Hi Jonathan Ong,

The Hokkien Dishes at Beng Thin’s restaurant is so tempting from a preview of their dishes at their homepg.

Thanks for taking the trouble to organise these yummy dishes for us. Any siew chee ?

  55. Hi Terence,

May I know why my name was listed in the post but ( NOT SURE ? )

FYI,I had reflected that I am coming in the comments.

    Hi Terence,
As the programme has been firmed up, pls. count me in.

Can join you later at Raffles Place between 6.45 to 7 pm.I can only leave my school at 6pm.

See you there, guys for Men’s night.

    SC

  56. Hi Terence/Jonathan Ong,

Besides drinking at Harry’s Bar , I would like to taste authentic Hokkien food at beng Thin’s rest OCBC.

See all of you then and YAM SENG to Men’s night.

  57. Hi Terence,

Sorry, unable to come as I am driving up in a group on May 16 to Ipoh, Cameron Highland n Malacca n back late on May 20.

After this trip, may consider organizing a convoy up to Malaysia for SHC members!

    Danz

  58. Hahaha, so we have 29 tua tua jiaks and the number is still counting. No wonder the gals are sidling up to us, and, on the pretext of praising our food, are obviously hinting an invite from us.

Heee, nest time hor. You got yr CB nite with pow piao somemore so get the ah pow and ah piao to cook fish maw and more fish for you lor………lalalalala……………

Jokes aside, DanH, we’ll miss you but do drive very carefully esp if you take the Tapah route up Cameron H’lands. The road is winding and narrow, not helped by the pelting rain softening the hillsides. You may wish to take a longer drive from Ipoh where the newer road up is wider & so safer.

Remember while you’re our decorated Prince of Danz, please dont dance yr way up. The orang asli are hungry and might catch you for their afternoon tea, worst, sell you to the garang guni. Have a safe trip & enjoy !

  59. Hi Terence & Guys NiteOuting on May 20th,

Re Harry’s Bar @ Boat Quay, have managed to reserve places (seating & standing) for 25-30 pax at Harry’s Boat Quay at 6pm for drinks.

The reservation is non-exclusive as they have many regulars streaming in too, so try to be on time ;-)

    Cheers in advance,

    Jonathan

  60. Hi Terence and Jonathan,

I will be there next Tues but can only go after 7.15pm. So I will see you either in Harry’s or at the restaurant in OCBC.

    Look forward to it.

  61. Dear Terence

Unfortunatey just found out that I have to go back to Malaysia next week (17/5/08 to 25/5/08), so will have to give this round a miss. Sorry but have to pull out, hope that there will be future rounds to look forward to.

    Have fun.

  62. Hi guys only,

  63. Hi all,

    GENTLE REMINDER :-

TOMORROW is MEN’s Nite and CHA BOR Nite on the same night. When Tar Pors happens to meet Cha Bors at Boat Quay at 12:00 MIDNIGHT , it will transform into a THRILLING NITE. THRILLER and BEAT IT! BEAT IT! ,imagine SHCians dancing like werewolves on the sidewalk at Boat Quay while the tourists ogle at us. Ha ! Ha! songs made famous by Micheal Jackson….

  64. Hi Chopstick Sisters, Gingko and Veronique,

Have you heard of the song ” Stairway to Heaven” sung by the Deep Purple band ?

Or are both of you about 1/2 way to Heaven ?

How is your tour to Jerusalem ?
Both of you MISSED cycling at ECP on 17/5 ?

  65. Hi Lina Ng, #76,

    …Your imagination running wild ah?

No,like the Mak Sallehs, we S’poreans should learn to think more out the box. I think our Govt is pampering us too much that led us to our “fixed” box-like thinking. B4,2 boleh jadi,Now, 2 or more if you boleh afford etc…

Even Beijing employ foreign architects to help to design the
“Bird Nest” Olympic stadium. Nothing so impressive though, just an ENTANGLED mass of steel structure and that’s what they call “ARTISTIC” X factor.

Similarly, our Esplanade was first conceived, many citizens ogle at it.

Is it a durian split into 2 halves, 2 compound eyes of a housefly under high power or worse still looks more like a metallic bra from atop reminds me of Madonna when she took the world by storm by wearing a CONICAL sharp pointed metallic bra in her “Like a Virgin” concert.

Initially,we, Sporeans feel difficult to accept it as it involve billions of $$$.

Now,look at the huge number of tourists/patrons coming to the Esplanade and ADMIRING our DURIAN BEAUTY.
Not pungent or stinking after all ?

Deep Purple hd nvr sung “Stairway 2 Heaven” but “Temple of the King” where u can pray 4 good health. Led Zeppelin was the group which did.

  67. Hi all,

Thanks to Terence for organising the MEN’s nite and Jonathan ,the Hokkien dinner at OCBC. and it was good to meet new members like Victor,Hee sha,Patrick Khoo,”Scuba diver”See Silverhair, memory tOO GOOD, cannot remeber his name but knows that he is a scuba enthusiast. And ictor is really interested to join our Pengarang grp./ ECP grp. ( Yew Kwong/Douglas Chan.pls. take note.

To share, that is why when Hee sha, another new member from men’s nite ask me whether I would like his pedigree Beagle and Silky Terrier. I said “No” . I do NOT want to see any of my dogs suffering again and esp. so when I return from 2 or more weeks of holidays from overseas. I went to the Pet hotel to take him home. When he saw me , he cried oooh! oooh!… as though to tell me why you,my master abandoned me for past 2 weeks and you had a jolly GOOD time and I had to force to live in this pet hotel by myself MISERABLY.

Instead of the persistent TIKAM TIKAM ( BACK STABBING )of some members on another becos of differences in opinions, WHY NOT settle for a WIN WIN situation instead. Ultimately,it is your choice to “MAKE UP” or “BREAK UP”.

NOT GOOD to continue to harbour unwholesome thoughts and wash “dirty linens” in SHC public forum. What has passed be bygones. Just MOVE on. Ha! Ha! sounds like a justice of peace at work. LOL!

But the photo of the ladies,ok with you.
OK with EXTREME MAKE OVER lah!
I am still searching for the Goddess of LOVE and BEAUTY to appear lah. Better DREAM on. Ha! Ha!

…From June Lim, Then realised how come no man/men in the pic!! May mislead new comers that SHC is a golden girls club (tho Rene is definitely not a golden girl yet :-))).

Yes, Terence and that is why you have MEN’s nite and Dolly her CHA BOR nite and ROLAND TONG with his version of MIXED nite. What ever it is, yesterday MEN’s Nite was a THRILLING nite with another great surprise that happens to at Sunset BBQ from the 3 SPICY girls who sat next to our table. It was a PLEASANT surprise to give our readers a good impression that SHC is BISEXUAL.

  69. Steven…Glad that you enjoyed it. There was so much chit-chat & laughter that it seemed as if the whole restaurant belonged to our two tables ;-)

Terence…Thanks for organising the whole function. Hope all who turned up enjoyed themselves, even though we ran slightly above budget for dinner ($30 i/o $25).

  70. Hi Steven,

That scuba diver is called Jeffrey Lim. Correct? And what so spicy about us? We not exactly spicy as the food in Annalakshimi Restaurant. hahaha

  71. Hi Jonathan and all other men,

Now, got a little bit more time to refresh myself on the men’s night. I think it would be nice if we continue to have a men’s night, every now and then, or at least once in 6 months. Of course, we can have private ones, as often as we like.

Thanks Jonathan for fixing the Hokkien dinner and beery drinks.

  72. Hi Lina Ng /others

……And what so spicy about us?
We not exactly spicy as the food in Annalakshimi Restaurant. hahaha .

Hope the 3 of you can suddenly re-appear to give us another SURPRISE at Annas Rest this Sat at 1 pm.
The 3 of you had suddenly appear at the BBQ/Steamboat and MEN’s NITE at OCBC Beng Thin restaurant.

V.Sorry it should be written as the 3 SPICE GIRLS ,the once famous all girls band from U.K.and NOT SPICY Girls.

Suddenly realise that Spicy has another meaning.

Next time, I had to be better be more careful with the choice of words otherwise will be hit by brickbats and boomerangs and @@*#$$%^& from the 3 Charlie Angels.

  73. Hi Steven
