Hi Danz,

Dan are you drunk ?
SC
Hi Janet,
See you then, make sure you are able to lure Tim over!
Steven Chan,
I am sane as a saint! The reason I did that was because Teresa wrote in the post five times to get my attention, and I reciprocate!
Danz
Hi Dan Huang,
Could you please arrange a Karaoke session in May ’08 as I would like participate.
Thanks
Bernie
Hi Bernie,
I may consider to have Jams n Karoeke as a monthly affairs!
Response has been poor, may consider Karoeke session by itself!
Danz
Dan, if so, den, try 2 hv it on weekday i/o of weekend lor..
Hi DanH
Can consider a ‘no frills’ karaoke? Some RCs have this facility and it’s opened to the public at $3/person.
Cheers,
JassmineT
Dolly, you know I know it very hard to please everyone. We used to have it on Wednesday night.
The complain is that being weekday, it no good, as tomorrow we have to work. Now I have it on a Saturday night, tomorrow no need to work, still got problem!
Hi Jassmine, sound like a good idea. I am not sure whether the Silverhair members would like to mix with the very Senior Citizen!
Danz
Hi DanH @# 11
Generally, I think the ‘oke room is underused which means that visitors can sing to their hearts’ content.
However, the ‘snag’ – I think the songs are mostly Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese. Very small selection for English songs. But for me, I enjoy singing in Mandarin, so RC’s ‘oke is fine with me.

Dan, I had always said so long as there is at least 80% happy faces, job is considered done n of cos, if u had more 90% happy faces, it’s oredi super. There is no such thing dat u can pls everybody’s whim n fancies u noe.. Anyway, mine is a just suggestion la.. it is always your call, ok..
I don’t think u need to mix wif tose Snr Citzns unless u all r singing in the main hall i/o KOK rooms lor in RCs/CCs. Here in Bt Panjang, there is 1 RC KOK room dat is always under-utilised due to its location. No easy accessible xport, hv MRT – LRT – Walk lor.. for tose staying ard central n east.
JanetC, my spologies, read yr #4 only now long after the Battle of Waterloo….certainly look forward to singing FFY with you. (Kept away last Sat by the cliffhanger btwn Chelsea & Man Utd which Chelsea won 2-1 and so in theory has kept the title chase open).
Me has no problem with CC’s k’ok hall but big problem with finding the EO………
Dan,
CC/RCs can allow only original Kok disc 2b played in their player if u 1 2. Strictly no ‘cheong’ or ‘chu piao’ discs to be allowed due 2 infringement rites lor..
Tim Tim,
Thanks for responding…
Me oso no problem with choice of k’ok venue but definitely hope is more centralise…so I dont have to “JOURNEY TO THE WEST” (m staying in the East).
Looking forward to fulfil our duet soon.
Cheers!
Janet Chan
