The Car Boot Sales organise by The Seafood International Market & Restaurants PL, 902 East Coast Parkway Blk B #02-06 Playground @ Big Splash, Singapore.

- Time: 10am to 6.00pm
- Place: Playground @Big Splash, East Coast Parkway
- Rates: $50/= for Saturday & Sunday ( 2 days inclusive of parking charges)
The maximum available lots for the event will be 48 lots . The Management may allocate additional lots when it deem fit. There will be one Vista Bistro Voucher and one Seafood Int Market & Restaurants voucher worth $20/= thrown into the package.
Date and timings for the event is subject to change by the Management.
As this event is on a first pay first served basis, please register early to avoid desappointment.

Can two cars share the same lot, each taking one day? I’ll like to participate on Sunday only.
If no other SHC member is interested to share the lot, selling on Sat, I can look for a non-SHC member.

Would you know if any SHCians took part in the car boot sales at ECP on the 19/20 Jul 2008. A few members did participate directly with the organisers. I am wondering how was the interest level, and if we need to keep this activity up regularly. Personally, I think car boot sales and Flea marts have its merits and conveniences. Besides the little income, these two activities are pretty fun and they fulfil our club’s objective.

Thanks for your interest of the Car Boot Sales on 19/20 Aug 2008. A friend of mine had participated, and alloted a car lot space, as I do not want two full days “job”, had combined with him and “topan” the barang, barang. It was a grand two days affairs, with 80 cars participated. The charges was nominal at $50 for two full days 10.00am to 6.00pm (parking charges free). The takings were good, very much more than to cover the cost. Understand from one of the Silverhairs members, she also had a good taking, selling a good number of ladies handbag, etc.
Car Boot Sales can definitely gernerate a good income for Silverhairs. In conjunction with the Seafood Centre based there, we can always hold a regular session on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. If needs be, we can always go all out ourselves. The ambience is beautiful, what more can we ask for, with surroundings food outlets and lovely sea around us.
