“Boom time for baby boomer club” screams the title for the Strait Times article.  Our chief baby boomer, Terence is now on everybody’s lips.

Now we know why no sex here. He was keeping it all for himself.

  1. Did you see the photo? That shirt, the posture, the haircut….

    The angle makes the head bigger than the rest of the body especially with both hands in the pockets.

    Terence. What are you doing fidgeting with your hands inside your trousers?. You are trying to get your fingers around the baby booming problem?

    What happened to all our image consultants. Where did all our photographers, image consultants, make-up artists, choreographers go?

    Fortunately, the great smile saved the day.

    I took your advice, and am now having my hair fixed at Kerastase Hair salon in Bangkok. Haven’t read the article nor seen the photograph. Had to run up the City Hall MRT stairs to have the pix taken.

  3. I like Sengh’s pose, so invitingly if you get to look at him from the back. Some call it the CFM look esp if you look at his eyes….even a cow-elephant will make a run for him. So, dont be surprised if SHC membership hits 5,000 in 2 weeks and 10k by year end if Sengh changes to a low-cut, bends lower and shakes his butt to the rhythm of “It’s now or never”………………..

    No cow elephants, bulls included. I am impressed with the response from the article. Many SilverHairs would like to join SHC, even though we have no physical. The thought of getting to meet new SilverHairs is good enough. I guess the new SilverHairs like what they read on the forum. Guys and gals, do continue to have fun. SHC will be what you make of it. It will evolve continuously.

  9. Are we sure if the word ‘Baby Boomer Club’ is what we want to be called or reflect the true concept of the Founders of SHC ?

    Sounds more like this group has found the secret recipe to increase the population or something?

    I found the title “Baby Boomer Club” of SHC is rather MISLEADING .

    To date, is there any couple in SHC that is getting married.If so congrats. And so where are ALL the SHC babies?
    Missing……..? ? ?

    I’m new to this Baby Boomer Club. I wanted to access what sort of people “live” here so I was prompted to check out this website. Never participated in any sort of blogs/forums, etc…but there is always a first time to everything, isn’t it? :)

    So is there anymore here who is helpful enough to show me how I can publish a message onto the main forum?…I like to get some feedback on a magazine that we are launching for the “baby boomers” and by the same!

    You have already registered to use the SilverHairsClub forum. To write a new msg, look for Write a new Post. I suggest you write a profile of yourself first, followed by your thoughts or ideas.

    This should give you a start. Do invite us to join your activities from time to time. Also note, we have only individual membership, no corporate membership.

    Thanks for you note…but I have trouble finding the “Write a new Post” button. Where do I go, hope you can point me to the right place step-by-step? Sorry for the ignorance.

    About the profile, I have already done so and uploaded as my profile when I first sign in. And where is that info parked if other members don’t see it?

    I have noted that this club takes only individual membership.

    At the main, click the latest comments, look up at top left hand corner, there is a word ‘Write’, click on this, it should able 2 bring you to a new post to write.. Happy trying..     One of our SHC members wrote to the The Straits Times forum on 24 Jul 08 on win-win subsidy for public transport. He was from the writing class conducted by Mr Raja Manikam in Oct 07. We are so proud that one of our classmates has got his views published.
