  1. Yew Kwong,

August cycling coincide with the “HEART” ROCK CONCERT which most of us are going. Also Terence’s overnight camping at ECP happen on the same day. Wow! 3 in 1 (3 events on that day), how to cope huh? Very much wanted to cycle and camping, but have paid for the tickets for the concert…how? I am thinking, me & my cycling buddies will be at the ECP to have lunch and “kaypo kaypo” Terence to pitch his Tent. Thereafter if time permits, we may cycle if not we will proceed to Marina Bay for the concert. Then next morning, we will join in the monthly gathering at Burger King. So Yew Kwong & all cyclist, you all have fun and see your on Sunday morning. Btw these are the 7 of us (Ah Nee, Susan Chang, Lina Ng, Juliet Ong, John Howe, Norlinda & Aaron How), who may or may not join in the cycling. :)

  2. Ah Nee,

I have got my maid to cook 3-chicken curries (no coconut cream, Indian style) with rice). With you not coming, I shall reduce by one chicken.

And seriously, the chicken curry with rice is good. I tried it many moons ago. We will have it for dinner, if YK says ok, it will be for dinner.

Well, you and the Heart Rock concertors, have fun. See you when u come and kaypoh kaypoh (fix my tent), or Sunday morning.

    Terence Seah

  3. Terence,

This overnight camping, it will be my first time camping as an adult. No tent, no idea what I have to bring or do, if I wish to join in the fun.

    brgds,

    Jimmy Tsin

  4. Hi Jimmy

This is a cycling thread. There’s another overnight camping thread that has more details such as where to get tent, etc. Worst come to worst, just squeeze in with Terence and Yew Kwong lah. Haha….very crowded with 3 grown men. Hope Terence’s tent is big enough ….heehee

  5. Hi Yew Kwong,

Is there a group cycling to Changi Village and back on that day?

I’m rather keen to try it; as I want to know if I can survive the distance. Anyone else interested?

  15. Hi Yew Kwong,

I’m not a regular at your cycling event, but i would like to join you today. This is one of the rare Sat afternoon that i’m free. My regular singing class is cancelled today.

Will meet you guys around 4pm @ MacD. And i have a friend, Kynn (not yet join SHC yet) also keen to come. We need to go for the Heartstring Concert and would need to leave by 6pm. Calling all those going to the concert, we could meet back at MacD @ 6pm and head for Esplanade to join Ron Lai @ gang at the Food Court @ 6:30pm. I think RonW will be driving us there?

    CHeers, Lydia.

  16. Hi Yew Kwong & Terence

Just want to say thanks to you, Yew Kwong for facilitating the session and Terence for the curry chicken.

It was nice knowing all those present too and hey Nancy Major, you are quiet a poet aren’t you and fancy dedicating a whole poem to the “man in blue”. He must be terribly flattered! Ha ha ha ……
