Hi all members  !

My name is Shirleen. I’m new here and got to know SilverHairClub from ST article.

When I login to the web site and came to know the club hv alot of activities which I like most of them and made me hv no reason not to join you all.

Although I can sometimes be fairly shy when meeting new people for the 1st time but it would be nice to make new friends in my life to share and experience various activities, outing, evening etc.,..

I love to learn new things and experience all sort of difference culture. Food is always a good pass time on my time table beside music.

My hobbies includes dancing, travelling, music, movies, chit chatting, cycling, etc.,..

Looking forward to meet all the nice people and make new friends here.

    A big welcome to SHC family, Alice and I had the opportunity to meet you today at the SCOREBOT for the talk given by Terence.

    After the talk we had a follow-up of karaoke session at Suntec City with a few SHCians, to get to know one another better. Your love of music really shown clearly at the karaoke session, where song after song you sang, started ringing in our ears.

  4. Hi Shirleen,

    Welcome to the Club! Got a chance to meet you at Scorebot yesterday. You come to the right place, we have monthly cycling session under Yew Kwong.

    For dancing, some of us are catching up on lost time and making effort to master the various dance steps. Do join us in the Jams session where you get to meet the other dancers.

    Regular jams are held every Wednesday night at Serangoon Gdn Country Club from 8.30pm. Other sessions are Dance Floor at Safra Mount Faber where they have Ladies’s Night also on Wednesday night. Raffles Town Club and Singapore Recreation Club are the other venue.

    I am tempted to organize a Ladies’s Night at Safra Dance Floor. For every lady who bring a guy her drink is on the house. Perhaps it should be the every way, the guy bring the gal and she enjoy a free drink!

    You have a ticket bought from me for the Rock Concert, this is an opportunity for you to meet many new friend.

  9. Hi Shirleen,

    The Serangoon Gardens Country club Jams is on every Wednesday night. We have two SHCians who are are members of the Club. Usually they will inform us whenever they are going down. If you are keen to join I will liaise with them to meet at the Club.

    As for the Friday session at Singapore Recreation club, we have also two members who sign us in. Four SHCians are members of the Raffles Town club. Jams are usually last minutes event unless someone put it on the post.

    As EO for dance classes I will try to organize a monthly Jams. This month Jams will be on every last Saturday of the month, probably at the Dance Floor at Safra Mount Faber.

    Today session is at Serangoon Gardens Country Club. Sorry tonight I was busy and did not check with the member about going down.

    Hope they will be opportunity for me to introduce the members to you. Then we can join in with them for a hilarious times!
