Born year of the Rabbit (1951). Returning S’porean – have lived in Jupiter, Florida from 1988. 2004 lived in Belgium till return early this year.
While in Belgium, joined the Singapore Association for Belgium/Luxemburg – enjoyed activities like Chinese New Year & Hawker Fare (so shiok – brings back lots of memories of home – esp local FOOD). While abroad, did some Arts related activities. Beaded jewelry. Quilts/patchwork.
Would love to take up golf – again. Is there a golf pro in this SilverHairClub?
Would love to meet up with members who lived in Florida (Jupiter area?) & Belgium.

Welcome to the SHC fold, even thought Alice and I had met you today at the talk given by Terence at SCOREBOT in Bali Lane.
It is our pleasure to have a long conversation with you after the talk, and great to hear from you what life is in Jupiter, Florida. As discuss with you, it is our intention to visit Florida in one of these days, hold good, after getting a good tip from you. We can have further discussions on the subject matter some other time when we meet again.
We had visited Belgium once, during our 11 days European trip some years ago. It was a beautiful place, the memory of the places we visited still fresh in our mind.
Alice is a true blue peranakan, as as you mentioned in your para 2 “so shiok”, are you also a peranakan, one way or another?

Hi Florence, welcome back to Singapore and to SHC. I see you do patchwork and quilting. I used to do that too and still have all the stuff I made, which included a single bed comforter.
If you enjoy beaded jewellery, perhaps you could contact Karen Thio who is teaching some of us SHCians some craftwork involving beads and crystals.
