    Don’t get me wrong. I’m looking for a slim (not necessarily lonely) lady ‘coz I’m kinda slim myself and I always feel awkward dancing and holding a chubby lady. At an age of 45+, it’s difficult to find a “slim” lady, right?

    You met our Ah Nee, a very jovial lady. Steven Chan more or less have given you a good run down on the slim and chubby ladies.

    In fact you are spoiled for choices here! More slim ladies ares Susan Chan and Lily Ho and of course the Chopstick sister! On the chubby side, let me introduce the 3 Cats as Steven pointed out.

    Don’t believe, come and join us in the dance class on every Friday night. Last week we have our Cha Cha or chasing class. Followed by Sambaling or sampling class and followed by Waltz or lumsing class! Too good to miss right, Chin Boon?

  18. Wow, what a response, I never expect that! First there was Ah Nee, whom I thought was a MAN. Then Steven the only guy I know in SHC named a host of “slim, tall & lovely” ladies, the fanatics, the ah lians, the drink con… (oops, sorry lah, I don’t drink), the no-nonsense, and the don’t-play2, but the 3 cats, Dan says they are chubby (sigh!). Man, I’m just spoilt for choice, how not to go break-dance with them all! You sure they are all 45+ and still slim, pretty and healthy? Too bad I ain’t no prince charming, Norlinda, just ask Steven. He met me at the dog show yesterday. But I ain’t no square either. So, nobody “siam” when I choose a partner for lumbada dance. Er…, any photos of those slim ladies to show as a prelude? BTW, where is the next Friday night boogie to be held, Danzing Dan?

    I’m tall and slim but not dark leh! May be I’m quite tanned today because I had my jungle run in Kluang on Saturday and climbed Gurung Lambak yesterday. Once out of the jungle is so hot like an oven.

    I’m quite tall, 1.73cm, 64kg, short hair and facial dark from golf. So that puts me as tall, dark and h…. handily slim. Dancing class at Clementi CC? That’s perfect, coz I’m staying at nearby Holland Road. It’s on every Friday, right? Too bad you ain’t that slim Lina Tan the gym and dance fanatic Steven was talking about, but if you are anywhere near her, you needn’t look for a suitable partner ya. See ya!

    We look forward to meeting you this Friday at the dance class in Clementi CC. Last week, we have about 15 in the Cha Cha class. The studio was almost pack by those attending the Samba class.

    The Waltz class have a pretty good mix of 8 guys for 11 gals. Your presence certainly make the gals happy!

    Hey Dan, We are having a dance class? Gee, I thought this is one of the organised dancing sessions like the one planned for Oct. I do miss the samba class coz the latin music is really my cup of tea. So what’s next? The jive samba? The mumbo? Give me Bossa Nova anytime. BTW, what’s a Titanic act? Lovey dovey at the front deck and drown in sorrow at the end?

    Yoo…, Agnes Seow, You’ll never find me on a line dance with that bunch of squares who “So you think you can dance” huh, rock & roll or otherwise. I probably catch the vibes more often listening to cool jazz music.

But then again, we might just die of disappointment as our laughing hyena Lily Ho put it: At 1.73cm, even Thumbelina (what’s that?) is taller than you…..hahaha. See what I mean. I’ll do stretching exercise heceforth at the gym.

    Anyway, with all the warm and inviting response, let’s get on with the dance (Believe it or not, this is a first time for me), come tall, short, slim, chubby, fair, dark, and SDU (single, desperate or ugly).

    Like it says, ‘Social and Line Dance Night’ includes dinner and drinks. Friday night at Clementi CC is where dance lessons are held, starting from 7pm-Cha Cha, 8pm-Samba, 9pm-Rhythmn & Waltz. Dan, is the expert in these areas. And as for Hip-Hop, I find it difficult to co-ordinate. Maybe, the next life! Ha ha.

    It’s seems the slim and the chubby has it’s place here for a purpose. What, a massage and a chubby one at that! You may be in luck, there’s lot to choose from. We all here do appreciate your brand of humor. Keep it coming!

    Help! I have just been hijacked for tomorrow night. U see, tomorrow being such a big day with the impending PM’s National Day speech and the long-awaited Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony about the same time, I was prompted to stay put despite the lure of SHC dancing class with the presence of SHC dolls and belles on the offer. Looks like I shall have to give this one a miss. Priority has to be given to personal invitation, and like I said, I’ve been hijacked for moonlight crooning. But then again, there is always another Friday to make up for it, right?

    Did I say moonlight crooning? oops, it’s more like moonlight croaking or howling (like those wolf pack at midnight). Just that I enjoy a varied interest like singing and keen to try everything, but never say that I am versatile. Jack of all trades and master of none, sounds familiar to you? The sad part is that I can never find another guy or gal with the same interests that I’m involved in.
