  1. Hi James,

Can you put me down for the 5pm session.

Would love to meet the rest on the 2nd session but unfortunately have a line dance class to teach at 8.15pm at Toa Payoh Central, too bad huh

  2. If you are coming to the monthly gathering on Oct 15, I like to ask for one or two assistants to help with the registration desk. Grace won’t be available, and we have Janet.

Anyone like to raise hand to help with registration, together with Janet?

    Terence Seah

  3. Terence

Don worried about the registration. I told James I will be helping at the registration desk with Lin Chuah , Elina Tan and Catherine Ho.

3 should be more than enough , righ ???

  4. Hi James& Susan!

  5. Hi everybody, who are still thinking of coming to the October 15 gathering at Kovan,

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow SHCians. James and Susan, together with the performers have put in a lot of effort to make this evening entertaining and enjoyable. If you are wondering what dancing is all about, do come and see what your fellow SHCians have been enjoying all this while.

As this event is strictly for registered SHC members, please do register and do not just walk in. Do not invite friends please.

Thank you James and Susan, and to all performers for the hard work and practice sessions.

  8. James, Susan,

The response to this monthly gathering cum dance performances is indeed overwheming. Goes to show many SHCians love dancing, besides the regular meet members sessions. Well done.

Janet, Karen, would you require me to bring along the empty name tags along? If yes, I shall bring it along on that day. Thank you for your help at the registration desk.

    Terence Seah

  9. Hi Terence,

    Don’t mention it.
I believe with a great founder like you that we are able to get great response.

It’s really an encouragement that you are always at every
monthly gathering to support and lend a helping hand.

  20. Hi Dolly,
I have already indicated to Terence tt i would make the name tags of the newbies, however it must have slipped his mind (as he ‘s such a busy man )to post it on the blog.
Hyacinth ..etc names of those who wish for labels were already done. But Dolly its ok if u r going to make them coz variety is the spice of life n im sure the members would b delighted to have more than 1.Thank u for yr consideration.
    grace

  21. Hi, for SHCians attending the Oct 15 monthly gathering and the Oct 19 Swimming Day,

If you like to have a name tag done, please let us know by Oct 12. We have some 100 name tag holders, so raise your hand; if not, got to use sticky label.

    Terence Seah

  22. Hi Roger #66,

Thank you for offering to help.
We have enough volunteers for registration.
Just come around 7pm on Oct 15.
I’ll see what else needs to be done.

    james

  23. Hi Grace,
Pls go ahead with whatever arrangement with Terence as b4, I am fine with this as I dont blif in members getting more than 1 name tag unless it was printed wrongly in the first place and need to be changed. So I am not going to make any name tags at my side, OK? That’s my own point of view. Thanks.. Dolly

  24. Hi Dolly,
Now tt u have clarified things I can go ahead wth the names so tt there will b no duplication of names…go green..its the buzz word of the day…A gentle reminder :
Those who need names to b made.. workshop closes at 12 noon on Sunday 12 oct SHARP.Late postings will receive theirs at the next months meeting..Nov.So Hurry folks…also those who r going for the swimming carnival u can collect yr N.T. ON THE 15 AT kovan.too.

    thanks.

  26. Hi Susan,
I have already done Angeline Ong’s name tag but regret to say I cannot deliver the tag to her 4 tomorrow’s walk as i dont have the services of a courier like DHL/SPEEDPOST/etc.etc hee!hee! She will only get it at the monthly meeting at Kovan 15oct.(courtesy of Janet )

  27. Hi Terence,

Announcement, another dancing queen is born. Thank you for your approval!

    Hi Grace,

U better not send by DHL, confirmed, gurarantee will not reach her. I will ask her to have a temp label for tml.
    Thank you so much.

    susan tan

  28. HI James & Susan

Well done! Just asking will there be enough space to accommodate all the attendees?

Gingko seems to be so happy being the lucky 100, so any special prize for her? ha..ha.. Her winning prize is she get to seat right in front so that she can get very good view of the performances hee..hee

    Hamidah

  29. Hi Hamidah and all,

The response for this gathering is indeed overwhelming, and
    beyond my expectation.

As performers, we hope we can deliver the best danes to
entertain you. At the same time, we hope as members of 1
family, you can cheer and clap as loudly as possible.

That will be our most rewarding moment.

For the 100th to sign up, Gingko, you can have the 1st
    class seat at the front.

In addition, you can choose to dance with the most
handsome performer in the group. Take your pick.

Rest assured, comes that day my eyes will feast on yooou(r) and the dancers’ moves ;-)

  32. Hi Patricia (kew) #88

    Haha..what a mistake!! :D

Thanks for your support and look forward to see you gals (Lilian & yourself) for this coming UnUsUal Danz Gathering Event..

    Cheers
    Doreen

  33. Hi Doreen,

This whole effort is solely to the credit of James Tan and Susan Tan. James as EO has rally some of us dancers to grace the occassion!

Susan Tan is the choreagragher of our dance item. I only sound out the dancers to come forward. Most of the dancers who perform that night are not in my dance team.

From the response we can gathers that dancing may affect everyone in one way or another. Look out for at least two pairs of dancers giving solo performances!

Let’s sit back and enjoy ourselves and perhaps more of us will take to attend dancing class. Ballroom dances is still my favouite. Perhaps one day I shall do a Waltze item, how’s dat?

    Danz

  34. Hi EOs

Please register Grace Ong and Cecil Ong (new members) for the 2nd session.
