Hi All

Yew Kwong, Boon Liang and John Howe are co-organising this event.  

Date : Wed, 31 Dec 08.

Time : 7.00 p.m. to 1.00 a.m.

Cost : $48 per pax  

Payment : By IB / ATM Transfer to Loh Yew Kwong’s POSB Current A/C 796-03473-4.

Venue : The Dance Floor, Safra Mount Faber Clubhouse, 2 Telok Blangah Way, #01-10A, SE 098803.

Programme : Buffet Dinner wif free flow of soft drinks, Dancing, Karaoke Singing, Live Band, Games, Lucky Draw n Free Karaoke Room. 

As this function is opened to the Public, u can also register your friends but names will be displayed as member’s friend (e.g. yew kwong’s friend).

    If you need help to organise games or need MC or compere I do have previous experience.If you need to form a committee you can rope me in to try and get sponsers’ prizes , organise treasure hunt,games , quiz etc.Are you thinking of getting a professional compere? If not I might be the closest replacement for free if Tim Steven and other members of my fan club including one shoe club for ladies…no ladies’s names mentioned… have no objections.Can go for audition to see if I can pass your standards.(Ha Ha Ha…!!?)

    Last year after my countdown party end past midnight, I SMS Yew Kwong & gang that I didn’t really enjoyed my countdown. I was woke up by YK at 4:00 am too. This year I will join them and count till morning, like that hor, sure YK won’t SMS me mah…ha…ha…ha….. :)

    Actually I should thank YK waking me up to make me have a memorable start of the new year (unluckily, 2008 is not a good year to remember).

    So you want to count from 0:00am till morning? how many numbers do you want to count? No lah, don’t wait so must time lah, just count 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, then start our 2009 party lah. May be we should give some wake up calls to our friends on that night, right? ha ha

    We 10Q 4 your suggestion. I’m afraid we already got prior arrangement 4 X’mas celebrations.

    The CountDown is into its 2nd year since the last one hosted by Roland Tong. We would definitely carry on having this special n memorable occasion every year. Like our Govt says “more good years” n SHC says “more years to count”.

    I’m trying to tie up with the Kocan CC mgnt if we can make
    use of the multi-function hall for this Xmas eve.
    I would know by this weekends if it’s successful, and
    probably there’s a charge.

    I’m thinking to combine performances, social dancing with a
    simple buffet for this function.

    What do you think the response would be and the amount to
    charge? My estimate, is $10-$20/pax, with a response of
    100-200 persons.

    Appreciate any inputs from previous or experienced organizers.

    I had called the 3 of you to confirm whether the payment is closed but unfortunately all 3 were unavailable.

    As your Max no is 40 pax and you had just reached 38 there are 2 vacancies left although the deadline is well over and on first pay first served basis.

    Nothing is mentioned that the post is CLOSED or the waiting list is indicated. Thus, I assume you may need 2 more to fill up your quota of 40.
