  1. Hi SHCian cyclists,

Won’t it be nice if we can all cycle early in the morning using the ECP connectors all the way to Changi (Food Centre), have Nasi Lemak for late breakfast or early lunch before heading back?
Personally, I feel safer cycling when there is still daylight.

  2. Hi Amy

If u can come 2 the west side, we can cycle every early Sat morn. In private, we have a group who plans 2 do this as often n perhaps on a regular basis. Likewise if u can round up a group 2 start one in the East.

  3. Hi all,

    1) Yew Kwong, I too would like to join your West cycling private group. Where do you all meet and time pls ?

    2) I used to cycle every Saturday to West Coast Park Mac Donald’s for breakfast from Clementi. And from there proceed to the cycle around the park heading towards the Dog Run and Dog training ground.

The morning air here is fresh and the park has lots of greenery . One consolation , the park is NOT as crowded as in ECP.

Alternatively, I cycle along the Ulu Pandan connector park from Clementi to Jurong East or to Bouna Vista Holland Village or straight on to the Botanical Gardens.

If interested, pls.email me at sfc0007@yahoo.com.sg a few days in advance. Upon reciving your email, I will tel you direct to confirm the time.

  4. Hello Dolly,
Black goes well with silver (hairs). More contrasting than white with silver, no?
Anyhow, I have often taken that route and the rising sun isn’t too hot and if you do decide to spend the day there and return in the early evening, you can avoid the noon sun.If not,try to be back before the sun is overhead.

There’s the Civil Service Club there for you to cool off, take a dip, curl up with a good book and relax.

Alternatively, you can park your bike and take the boardwalk. Changi has a lot of sights to offer. Smell the sea, watch the tides come in or out, feel the breeze and watch the birds (colourful kingfishers in particular).
