This is just an information for our Silver Hairs Club members who are looking for a Job with either Dairy Farm, Courts or Ikea. You are invited to bring along your personal vitae / resume to Job Fair @ Tampines, next to Tampines MRT station on 16th. April’2006 (Sunday) from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Hello Patrick, this forum column is indeed a useful site. The Job fair information was indeed beneficial to all SHC members especially to those who are seeking for jobs. My friend (non SHC member) went down to the job fair yesterday and she was interviewed by the executive of the guardian pharmacy. It was a positive feedback. Thank you so much for your information. Thanks for your comment given in this column.
Incidentally, the Job Fair @ Tampines received overwhelming response from far and near residents.
Mr. Mah (Minister for National Development)and the rest of Tampines GRC MPs and CDC committee members, had initiated the Job Fair. We are very happy to have our investors such as Dairy Farms, Ikea and Courts giving the opportunities to our residents to apply for a Job in their Hypermart or Megamart Industries.
For those who need further assistance in Job allocations, please visit your nearby Community Centres for direction and guidance.
It is my joy to help those trying to find a Job and hopefully they can find one that is suitable for them.
Age and qualification does play an important part in getting the Job but above all ones must develop the SKILL and the experience, in order to get the Job easily.
Even at our silver hairs age there is nothing impossible to achieve if only we persue after our passion and develop that SKILL – surely there will be someone out there that need our help in their company.
