Like to join me for a swim at Changi Beach Club Sun 14 June?

I needed some trial sunshine, before a 7-hole golf game on Monday.  Have not been in Singapore over the weekends for sometime; and so I suddenly have this crave to swim this Sunday.  If you like to swim, bring your trunks or costumes, and I shall see you there.  Please register her, to avoid give me shocks.

  • Place:  Changi Beach Club.
  • Date: Sun 14 June
  • Time: 0900 – 1200 hrs.
  • Entrance: on me
  • Food:  There is no food sold at that time, so if you can tuck something for yourself, great.  if you cannot, I shall get packet nasi lemak.
  • Bring suntan lotion, towel, swim wear.

No one goes there on Sunday morning, so you can come and parade yourself.  Take a good Sunday morning relaxation.  This is an Olympic size pool, so you can get lost in the water.  Coming, let me know here.

  2. HI Terence, would love to join u, but not free from 9-12. Would u still be around at 2pm? I heard there’s a good karaoke place at yr club? Any chance to include this too?
    Thanks, Lydia.

  3. “HI Terence…….love…..u…..Would u still be around at 2pm?……there’s a good karaoke…..to include this too?”

If I read Sengh’s eyes correctly, any time is good time and everything is ok for you, with you so it will be karaoke, carat-ok and carry-ok….

At 2 p.m., sing-along at kara, he shd be ok.

Over candlelight dinner at 8 p.m. when he gives you one carat, will you say ok?

Finally, at 2 a.m. when he carries you home, will you too say ok?

    Hehe.

  4. If you want to learn to swim, I cant teach you. If you dont want to but are drowning, I cant save you so come for what? But if you got chio bu, then swim the 7 seas I also come.

  5. Hi Tim,

No Chio bu, so no come. Aiyah ok lah.
I heard some dolphin-look alike mermaids have been spotted off the coast od Ubin. Thousands of Singaporeans have already gone there with their binoculars, but no pictures have been received in our media. We shd keep trying.

  6. Hi Francis

Are you sure you can still fit into your swimwear?? Double check the elastic band and to be on the safe side, bring a belt along, too!! Wahahahaaa……

“Are you sure you can still fit into your swimwear?? Double check the elastic band and to be on the safe side, bring a belt along, too!! Wahahahaaa……”

You are right. I do not want to take any chances. Otherwise I will make the founder of Silverhairsclub uncomfortable, swimming with me on a sunny Sunday ha ha.

    Francis

    Thanks for your advice

  8. Hi Terence,

Seem like not many would wake up early to join you. There is no badminton game tomorrow, therefore will join you. Thereafter will rush to the Indoor Stadium for the Aviva singapore Open at 1.00pm!

    Dan

  9. Hi Francis, you are welcome and glad you can make it. Think about Geraldine’s advice. Come alone?

Hi Dan, you are also very welcome. I see you there. You come alone too?

    Terence Seah

  10. Hi Terence #11

Yes. I am coming alone. Now I am going to Downtown East to buy a new swim wear. So no need to bring a belt along ha ha

  11. Hi Terence,

I am trying to, now which word should I use which is more gentle, to pull her or to drag Joy along. Sound like the stone-age, this is where the men may get into trouble! ha ha.

    Dan

  12. Hi Francis

HAHAHAHAHA……….so you did double check and also realized your old trunk has teddybear prints!! Kekekekee.

Hope you bought something real hot and sexy as in ‘barely there’ speedo……..sigh….Do strut your stuff around the olympic sized pool. Terence will smile happily (as always) and be proud of you.

Wonder why he asked you and Dan if you guys are going alone? Hmmm….

  13. Hi Geraldine # 14

“Do strut your stuff around the olympic sized pool. Terence will smile happily (as always) and be proud of you”

It is for Terence to comment tml. I know Terence. If only nice, he will comment.

Question” Wonder why Terence asked you and Dan if you guys are going alone? Hmmm”

I think it is the answer he is looking for

    1. “Frisna Tan Says:

Hmmm sounds like a good time to parade my bikini. “

    Ha ha

    Francis

  14. Terence

I WAS thinking of joining you but 2 things stopped me.

One was the word ‘parade’. If I ‘paraded’ in my bikini, people would gossip even more than before, so better not.

The other reason is that I will be going swimming, and yes, in my new bikini, later in the day, so no point wetting myself twice in one day, haha.

  15. Hi Mary chan #17

When I saw you comment in this post, I thought I would meet my good friend on Sunday after few months of our yoga class doing Sun Salute, Cobra pose etc.

I will see you in June monthly meeting if you come by 6.30pm.

    Francis

  16. We spoke, Will try to join you if there
s still time after my Sunday morning routine of laundry, ironing & floor mopping.

Not much time left and there’re many things I want to do (such as catching up before playing catching with you round the pool). If that sounds sombre yes it is bcos that’s how I feel.

  17. Tim, if you can come to CBC, great. Nice morning.

Frina, might be too late, but you can always come before 12nn.

    Sun is great today.

    Terence

  18. Francis Mangalam
Did you enjoy your swim this morning?

“months of yoga”? I seem to recall you were absent most of the time. Hahaha. Surprising you can still remember those poses.

I will be at the meeting this Wednesday. C u there.

  19. Done with the morning swim at Changi Beach Club. For those who came, see u another time. Great refreshing Sunday morning. Not too convenient a place for most members. Also, no mermaids, only marine patrol boats.

    Terence

  20. Terence #22

Thanks for the event. Swimming is the sport, I like very much. Yes, I agree that that place is not convenient if not driving.

“see u another time” Please include me when another time comes.

    Mary Chan #21

“Did you enjoy your swim this morning?”

I enjoyed swim. I also enjoyed the deep sleep, I had after swimming and makan. I used to go to Down Town East at Pasir Ris for swimming along with my friends (my children when they were young). Now they have their own lives. No friends to go for swimming.

Hence, now I am looking for friends in SHC to go for swimming. Thanks to Terence for opening the post.

Hi Terence, Mary Chan, Dan Huang, Frisna Tan and other swim-loving friends.

Can you guide me any other swimming pools preferably in the East for SHCians to go as a group and enjoy swimming and chit-chatting and later makan on a quiet Sunday morning or some other suitable time…

    Please contact me francisemail@yahoo.com

  21. Hi Francis, I live very near Downtown East, so u r a Parisian too? Hi Terence, do include me if you’re going changi beach club swimming again. thanks.

  22. Hi Francis

Saw the photos. Spotted the time as 2300ish hours which would be PM instead of AM. Time to adjust. Just a note……….
