    The Highlights for the Countdown D&D 2009:

    8 Course Dinner with Live Band Performance!
    Date: 31.12.2009 (Thursday)
    Time: 7.30 pm – 12.30 am
    Price: $36.00
    Venue: Paya Lebar Kovan CC (Air-Con Hall)

    It will be a night of sumptuous dinner, non-stop dancing, lucky draw and many more……

    I believe I’m buying over 2 tickets from Boon Liang & Eileen Thean for myself and my hubby so does that mean we’re both still on KIV? I’m still waiting for Boon Liang to tell me when to transfer the money into his acct after he’s passed me the tickets which is still pending. Appreciate if you could advise what I shd do at this moment. Thanks, Lisa Ong

    During the last weekend Batam trip, Boon Liang told me that he will arrange to pass the tickets to you. Please liaise with him on this matter. Boon Liang is very busy with his work, perhaps Veronique can help you too. As for Lena Ho and Pauline Chew, I have reserved 2 seats for them. Once again, I would like to thank you for your interest. Yipppeee….gonna party soooooon!

    This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Two more days to go, oh yeah….goodbye to 2009 and welcome the NEW YEAR 2010!

    The countdown Dinner & Dance 2009 will begin at 7.30 pm with 8 course dinner and live band performance followed by lucky draw. And yes….dancing and non-stop dancing thru the night….

    For those who have not got the tickets, please get it from me on that evening. I will be at the event venue around 7.00 pm. See you guys & gals….lets party! :)

  31. oh…I forgot about it, the wine & liquor completely slipped my mind. How can? Just a note for everyone, you are free to bring any wine & liquor for your table. I am bringing a bottle of Red Wine, no corkage & GST charges…hehehe… enjoy guys & gals! :)

    Thanks for coordinating this year end party for us. It’s the cheapest D&D dinner I had… Hehe.. reasonably cheap & good! I can see you are enjoying your dancing. :) There we also get to meet alot of other SHCians….including the long distance cyclists coming to say hello before they hit Henderson wave for their countdown. Thanks Rene, Eileen, Joyce for taking that effort to come & say hellooo..
    Lydia Chin must be on cloud 9… winning the 1st prize of a color TV. Wow, not a bad year-end bonus & a good start for 2010. Congrats! :)

    Thanks for bringing SHCians together to enjoy another great
    party. Now that the fun is over, can you send me some pix
    and a short writeup of the event for compilation into
    a VCD (see my latest post). This would be the first event
    to go into the VCD to kick-start the New Year.

  39. Wow! James Tan, what a great idea to capture our sweet memories into a VCD. I have feedback from my dance committee members & dance instructor, Henry Teo that our SHCians are friendly, jovial & FUN people, like a big family. Together with Ah Huat, we cheered a few round of “yum seng” and “huat huat huat” for the NEW YEAR 2010! The CC’s chairman, Michael Tan had reminded me a number of times to take care of the SHCians and have FUN with you guys & gals. With all these concerns, I feel that we are a bunch of very special people.

    We were attracted by a group of cyclists outside the function hall. They had cycled all the way from their house to Kovan CC to say halloo to us. Yew Kwong, Rene, Eileen & Joyce, you all are certainly BRAVO! Thanks for this very special effort, even Michael Tan was impressed.

    I am glad to see everyone enjoying the dinner and dance, and yes non-stop dancing. Thanks for your support and I hope to gather all of you again for the next function. Thank you Hou Chong, Steven Chan, Suzhang & James Tan for your valuable comments. May I wish everyone…..healthy & wealthy….Joy & Happiness… Peace & Love…….in the NEW 2010! :)
