Copies of list of dance tracks will be pasted at prominent places (we hve to save the environment, print less, use less paper).
So u can schedule your toilet breaks, powder breaks, puff breaks etc…whn your not so favourite songs r played.

For the line dance, Hamidah will stand on the small raised plaftorm (the stage) to lead.

  5. Yes I did have a great time too. Never had tattoo before and all at one go I had 3 and not to mention the blue hair…… The hair spray was easy to wash off but the tattoo was a challenge and it took me 2 days and a lot of scrubbing to get the one off my back and arm, think I might have scrub off a few extra layers of skin kekekekeke

    After all the fun, comes the few sleepless night doing up the 200+ photos. I was hit with so much problem with the uploading and many attempts had failed. Finally after countless attempts to re-order the file, breaking up the album etc, I FINALLY got them up at 6am this morning…PHEW.

    BTW out of some mischief, I did a few captions on some photos and I hope no one will get offended if you happened to be in anyome of them hor. Some are quite funny and I can’t help laughing while I was doing the caption, but for those who do not appreciate my sense of humour, please accept my apologies here

    Once again a big thank you to the 2 groovy EOs for organising this fun night and of course all the rest of the team, namely Dan, Joy, James and Hamidah for making this a memorable night for all of us.

  8. Hi All Freaky TGIF Attendees, EOs & Committees

    Ha..ha I’ve been staying quiet for 3 days recuperating from all aches but don’t worry not heartache lah, think bcos trying to be young again hee..hee doing too much LD & Disco dancing dat nite. On the way back home in the taxi my left foot start to get cramped. It’s my first time to SHC TGIF nite cos I missed last year’s event, I really enjoyed myself that nite.

    Thank you for attending and participating in the LD dancing sessions, my gila2 disco dance and the compliments given to me from Pauline Ho, Andrew, Irene Poh, Judy Lim, Lai Fong, Sue & Agnes etc. Good to hear Pauline & Lai Fong are interested in LD now.

    I’m very happy to see although some unable to dance and yet still tried their very best to follow the LD steps. This is a good, supportive & sporting effort shown..keep it up.

    Thanks to Sockie for the foto shots and Tattoo lady Karen for pasting the tattoo for me, 1st time I had tattoo. Fyi, when I got home my son laughed and said “Wah mummy you so happening, how come got tattoo?”

    Till we meet again at other SHC event, stay groovy and happy always

    My apologies for sending my thanks so late as I just return from Malacca last night.

    It was indeed a great party. A oppportunity for us to wear freaky spectacles and kookie accesories. The food was delicious and generous.

    My thanks to DJ James for spinning the dance music, Hamidah for making us look good doing the line dancing. Dan and Joy for the games. Tatto artist Karen and Sockie for capturing the moments for us to keep.

    You guys scarified yourselves to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and everything went well.

    Like I would say, it is people that makes the party. And we sure had a Freaky TGIF.

My legs were indeed tired out, after dancing the night away… but still manage to find a last ounce of energy to walk home … and also to cycling the next day too. Wow.. talk about revival of youth!

  18. Karen, the wig is so cute right? Was hesitating whether to buy or not..in the end was thinking if dont wear now, whn will I hve the opportunity..so buy lah :-))). Had to get Janet’s help to put on :-))), make sure the wig doesnt fly off whn dancing..:-))

    Yap very interesting person this Pauline Ho. If she didnt spill juice on her pants and had to go to the washroom, I would hve sat there the whole nite listening to her interesting stories and missing my dance…:-)))

    Totally agree with my talented Partner June, that without your active & vibrant participation, that TGIF nite would not be that ‘F~R~E~A~K~Y’ successful!

    Participants are indeed so sporting, dressed in flamboyant colours, and readily took part in the nostalgic games organised by both Dan & Joy, that certainly brought us back to our teenage years ~ Thank You! And of course, the superb efforts put in by Hamidah in guiding all members to a graceful linedance & Macarena, James/SueTan ~ for spinning the CDS with the right tempo for different types of social dances.

    Judy Lim #25 ~ Thanks for your compliments, I’m still an amateur in social dancing..

    Karen ~ ‘Kam Siah’ – the tattoos you brought along did add some sparkle to the nite’s event, with most of us flaunting our tattoos as we danced & swayed with the music on the dancefloor.

    Sockie~ ‘Xie Xie’ – you’re a great photographer, noticed some candid shots were taken eh…

    Sam & Dolly ~ glad you both were able to drop by to say ‘hello’ to us, appreciate your kind gesture!

    My FirstVirginFreaky night! & Oh wht a night!!. I want to just say thanks v sincerely for all the efforts U all put in for us to enjoy this night.
    Also met many new frens, Norlinda, apa macam!! hahaha.
    LydiaChin, the women looking out for spiderman..( reminds us to tell Terence for 2011 calender, do a Super Hero night…U know Superman, Superwomen, Ice-women, wonder-women etc etc.
    There were many hilarious moments too, I remember this one.

    ”my name is June Lim, I like reading” then a low voice behind me said” haha she dare not say, but it’s se x book” and then the laughter hee hee haha all around us.
    I confronted June with the above se x book allegation, she said” dont we all read se x book at the back of the class while in school” & there U hv it, another para for the memos. Also thank everybody for making this night great for everybody else!!! cheers See again 2011 Freaky – out night.

    My committee and I are very happy that the nite went well.

    I myself enjoyed myself very very much.
    I didnt care if I couldnt line dance nor social dance, I jus danced my way!!!
    I was grinning away the whole of Saturday.

    That nite, whn I had a call from Dolly…(luckily I was in the toilet, otherwise I wouldnt hve been able to hear my phone ring)…that really made my day, or was it my nite!! :-)). I was so so touched. Thanks very very much for turning up with Sam. Kisses Kisses. And sorry if I didnt talk to u guys much as I was busy enjoying myself!!

  35. Wow… many, many thanks to the EO, co-EO and Program Managers… ^_^

    This was one of the Freakiest “Fun” nites that I’ve attended… **(^_^)** … the costumes and accesories worn by some of the party-goers go beyond my imaginations… plus the “??” (“ni-se” : fake) tatoos… (ha_ha)… I got “branded” with one on my arm too… (^_~)

    Hmmm.. if anyone has ever looked out of the sliding doors (which was “locked” to prevent outsiders to come in – as I was told..).. you would have noticed the “envious and curious” looks on those standing out there looking in… (^o^) This alone would describe the scene of that nite.. a fun and crazy nite with loads of dancing, games and food..

    Hamidah… seeing all those fantastic line dance steps… I wanna take lessons liao… **(^_^)**

    Ahh… I now wonder if it’s becos of this event that tired me out quickly yesterday while peddling hard on the bicycle… (?_?)… Naaaahhh… on 2nd thought.. I think it’s the lack of exercise for so many years that causing it… (ha_ha)… (^_~)

    Me too have been coughing for past 1 week and was down with fever & flu a week ago. The coughing makes me feel as though I’m having asthma, hope can recover fast & in time for Freaky nite. If not then like Sockie said we got to organise coughing competition haha.
