The response to the SHC D&D at Serangoon Gardens Country Club ballroom has been more than overwelming. Even I am surprised at the numbers. Many members have not met one another, yet we are all looking forward to the friendship among SilverHairs.
Event Organiser Dolly Lim has refused to let me know the program for the night, so I cannot tell you too. The organising committee has promised an exciting evening, but like all SilverHairsClub events, we try to do everything ourselves, at the best we can. So, be prepared for some surprises, little faults and missed timings. I am over 50, and there are many of us over 45. So, come and enjoy the company of other SilverHairs.

It’s never easy to organise a big event, let alone one for more than 100 persons. So my fellow shaking-leg guests & I are very appreciative of the efforts put in by the D&D committee who is shaking all over to put up an exciting nite for us. Thank you !
On that nite the least we can do is to participate actively, or encourage and cheer the participants. Yes, the nite is what we make it out to be : a nite for the sombre or a pulsating nite of bumper bumps.
Aiyo, Terence, we know that you are vry vry busy mah, that why we leave you out in the planning loops but hor…. at the end of nite, you still needed very much to settle the balance payment lor… hehehehe

I am close to insuring Terence for $3,500.00 for 24 hours on 24 March 2007 so we are all on the safe side.

Ah liu pek can never be lagi laku than Terence : he’s my equivalent of spore idol. Let truth be told, he speaks more languages & dialects than the best orators add together so it’s more likely that he’s busy practising tree-climbing in anticipation of climbing the bar pole and not falling.
Steven, I can see that you hv difficulty separating putonghua, canton, hokien, bahasa and english and so had suggested that I start a Hokkien Clan Association. Given time, you’ll grow up some day to know more.

Intyre ( a mixed Thai high popular singer among the young and the old)favourites like Bocelli,Italian serenades or operas by Pavarotti, Julio Igleasias, Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals ,oldies Canton pops anda host of other Latin songs and music by Sand pipers and Los Machucambos , English oldies and NOT forgetting our SHC D and D speciality of the night a dance performed by our very OWN SPORTING TERENCE on his SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER….

Hi all,
I am very happy finally to meet who is Tim Liu Bocelli is and several others SHC NEW members who are interested in travelling,dance,travel ,garden,cycling and pet lovers.
Tim indeed can sing very well in his Hokkien song and was very sporting as well.
Thanks to Terence and the SHC party D and D committee who had put lots of effort and time to launch this very Successful Event.
