Veron, very nice of you to do Lena this favour. Wonder what kind of fella that travel companion is to leave a buddy in the lurch 10 days away fr departure unless she has very valid reasons to back out.
Any chance that Lena can arrange to reschedule & defer her travel plans, assuming she’s not exactly familiar with E Europe and needs someone to go with? Maybe somethg can be worked out in these 10 days as it’s not easy for a person still in employ to get at least 10 days’ leave so late.
