The World of Origami

We were having tea at Bamboo Villa that day with Jane Kee and Lisa Ong.
Origami was Jane’s  passion, thus would like to share the art with fellow SHCians.
Welcome other orgamists to contribute too.

Workshop agenda: Crane, Fish, Rabbit, Tulip, Frog – 3 types among others.   Objects folded with paper and styrofoam cutting will be on displayed.

Trip to Sg Lembing – 24th to 27th Aug 2009

Finally I (Paul Kong – EO) have manage to put it together.

Departing by coach on 24th Aug for recently open 5 stars Bt Gambang Resort.

Enjoying the facilities for 2 nights, we will have both breakfasts and dinners there. 

In between, will visit Sg Lembing town (ex largest producer of Tin in the World).

Visiting the Museum and crossing the Cable Bridge for refreshment  of home made honey lime.

After a walk back in time to the Fifties, we will get to taste the local Hakka dishes during lunch. Visit the natural Cave Temple with reclining Buddha before returning to Resort for Bar B Q.

After dinner karaoke, exploring or joining  in house programs are optional items.
On 26th Aug we will stop over at Sommerset Resort(5 stars)  in Rompin for a night before returning to S’pore

Total cost per person Sin $300 approx. Coach seating capacity 40 paxs  max.

My introduction.

Age 56 married and have just terminated my contract with my employer (multi-national) after 9 years.
Likes: travelling, sea sports and those as ststed.
Dislike: Boredom
Personality: Easy going, open minded.
Have read SHC Blog and will attend your monthly gathering to get up closed and personal.
As you can see my interest is too diversified, therefore keeping it short for now.
