Valentine Day and Valentine wishes

These days, I know it is not only men who send roses to their wives or girl-friends.  Children can also send flowers to their mums.  Bosses can also send bouquets to their colleaques or juniors.  Friends can also send flowers to friends on this day.

It is not always easy to bribe the florist not to reveal who the sender is, because she always wants the sender’s details.  I tried once, and said to myself that I would not want to do it again.  The credit card always gives you away.   Not true, I try it another time, this time paying with cash.  The receiver called the florist which happened to be just downstairs my office.  She was able to describe the sender. 

Valentine Day is fun, and an appropriate time to send our love wishes to the people around us.  So, go ahead and make your Valentine wishes for him or her.

    Apologies for not turning up. After the dance class, I didn’t feel well and decided to go home instead. I called you, Terence but there was no answer. Today, I’ve totally lost my voice and am down with a sore throat.
    I will try and make it for the cycling tomorrow if I don’t get any worse.
    Hope to be there for the fun.

  6. TQ 2 all U guys 4 e memorable evening. Valentine Day is not just a dy 4 lovers 2 celebrate their love, it oso a dy where U show ur love 4 ur frenz, associates, buddies n so on. It was oso e nite where we came up wif e SHC “BEAR HUG”.

    Yes, I got 2 keep e glass trophy after winning e match of who’s e most persistent. ^o^

  7. My, what an enjoyable evening! Terence, hope you were on time for your important lunch appointment today. Thank you very much for organising the Valentine’s dinner. Good food, fine wine, great company, interesting tête-á-tête and relaxing atmosphere. It was very kind of you to see me home safely.

    For our valentine evening, I have just booked a table for 8 at the hooters. We shall sit inside the airconditioned area first, before venturing to the warmer outside.

    I do see much on the “There” : mounds, crevices, silverhairs but on the shoulders, I cant see a chip but a sitting baboon, happily peeling bananas plucked fr Terence’s valentine trees.

    Certainly not if you tell me it’s an “us” meanng you hv a date with that M lass in mind.

    Since birth, we never fight, we sometimes share but usually you take everythg first.

    Since YK’s going there with his coupling, if I do turn up at the Hooters, my couplet has to be the best hooting owl with big big eyes to seduce you and a sexy mouth awaiting yr kiss.

    I would love to accept but I have my dance class from 7 to 8.30 on Thurs, although I am sorely tempted to join in later if there are others coming along.
    Perhaps we could start our own SHC Valentine’s gathering? Hahaha. Strictly for singles, no couples, who should be having their own romantic dates. ;-)

    Valentine’s Day is very special to me. My older girl was born on Valentine’s Day. This year is especially unusual as her Chinese date (the 8th day of the lunar new year) also coincides with the English date, Feb 14th.
    I wonder how often that happens?

  45. Terence, for you i wont send flowers or a vase as I do expect you to receive a lot of banana trees which wont go into any vase.
