  1. Hi Doug,
You said those cycling from the East may meet in Popeyes, Ponggol. Which route do you intend to take from Popeye Ponggol to Labrador Mrt? ANd what time are you meeting in Popeye?
    Cheers

  2. Hi Charles

I may use this route to Labrador Park – Sengkang East Drive, Upper Serangoon Road, Hougang Ave 3,
Eunos link, Changi Rd, Geylang Rd, Guillemark rd, Nicoll Hway. North Bridge Road to Upper Cross St. ( to visit bike shop)
New Bridge Rd, Kampong Barhru Rd, Telok Blangah Rd, Labrador Park MRT stn.

    Meet at 1230pm Popeyes.

  3. Hi Douglas,
I will meet up with you&gp @ Labrador Park MRT. Will be cycling from Jurong Point via PCN thru Jurong Park Central, Lakeside, Chinese Garden, Jurong Town Hall, Boon Lay Way, to The Chevrons, along Sungei Pandan, new link bet Boon Lay & West coast Rd, Pasir Panjang, Labrador Park MRT stn. Anybody from the WEST wants to join me on this route to Labrador Park MRT? Most likely would start off @ 2pm from Jurong Point.

  4. Hi Douglas,

Thanks for your reply. I notice you prefer cycling on the main roads. I know of an alternative route, which parallels your route except that it follows the PCNs mostly.
Briefly from Popeyes, use Ponggol PCN to Serangoon PCN. You will be cycling next to the canal Then from Serangoon PCN to Jalan Pelikat PCN. Then down Upper Paya Lebar Rd to Macpherson PCN and out to Aljunied to Geylang to Guillemard Rd to Nicoll Highway and follow your route to Labrador.
    Cheers

  5. Hi Mike

Dolly & Myself will be cycling from Dover and we are not very familiar with the road to Labrador … anyway to meet us somewhere near Dover ??

    Thanks

    karen

  6. Hi Karen, The route which i am taking will not pass thru Dover (quite a distance away further down). However, if you were to take the Ulu Pandan Park Connector trail ( http://46.137.240.5/NParks/index.html?pcnName=ULU PANDAN PC) and cycle to the Ulu Pandan Park Connector Bridge located at the Ayer Rajah Expressway intersection – that would be good. We can meet there and proceed to Pandan Garden, West Coast Rd (and to West Coast Park for a while) before proceeding to Pasir Panjang Rd and to Labrador Park MRT Stn

    Will update again on Friday.

  8. Hi all
Since there is no response to meet at Punggol Popeyes. I will cycle to Jurong and meet up with Mike .

    Hi Mike

Thank you for your response, I am keen to ride on those pcns that you have mentioned.
Can I meet up with you at Taman Jurong food center at 1pm and ride together to Labrador Park.

    Cheers

  9. Hi Charles
I am more onto road cycling than on PCNs.
Last year, some of us did the 128km round island cycling under shc banner in support of LCSG. It was done mostly on the road instead of PCNs.

We may use those PCNs that you have mentioned for our future shc cycling events.
    Thank you for your suggestion.

    cheers

  10. Yes Douglas, We will meet up at Taman Jurong food center (1pm ) and ride together to Labrador Park! We will be passing thru some interesting places like Jurong Park, Chinese Garden, Jurong East GATEWAY (blooming with Shopping n EC buildings under construction) and also the new Ulu Pandan Park connector Bridge which links Pandan Garden, Ghim Moh and Bukit Batok together. Wish we can have more riders.

  11. Douglas
