Virtual Shop & Flea Market, Wed 7 May 2008

Here’s another fun meeting.

Subject: Home Entrepreneur – Virtual Shop & Flea Market

Date / Time : Wed 7 May 2008 7pm

Venue: Scorebot, 18 Bali Lane

We are invitating all aspiring Home Entrepreneurs to form  Virtual Shops.

A virtual shop has the following advantages

– List of instant turnkey businesses that you can get in now starting with consignment stock lots. First come, first serve. Once booked we try not to create internal competition for the same product line.

– A low-cost, global MNC for you. We can help in funding to merchandising.

– It operates like a 3-in-1 business ie a  physical shop, on-line marketeer and event/flea market enterprise

– Facilities to sell for auction of limited items and sales of mass products

– Internet marketing of products including blogging and search engine optimixation. We save by marketing the whole group as one classified listing.

– Save on shop rental. We share physical facilities for OTC sales (over-the-counter), storage and logistics

– Save on  inventory working capital to hold stocks. Inventory is from collection and consignment.

– Save on  fixed labour costs. We  pool professional management and staff.

– You can help out in the planning of the next event. Flea market music festival. (Be the early bird to book the prime location.)

– You don’t even have to leave your full time job. Start a virtual shop now and sack your boss by New Year. Remember to collect your bonus first before you tell him what you really think of him and his stupid ideas. Tell him to lick his own azz and hopes that he works till he die.

Hee-hee

See you boys and girls.

  1. Hi KT,

You mean coming Tuesday, 6th May @ 7pm and not Wed 7th, right?

Since its such an interesting topic, tentatively I will attend, but might slightly be delayed though.

    See ya!

  2. Susan @ #1

    Yes, you are right.

Its Wed 7 May 2008 7 pm for the planning discussion and talk on “Virtual Shop and Flea Market. Retirees who left time watching behind them always have this thing about mixing up the dates.

Besides explaining the supporting infrastructure for your virtual business, there will be a “Quick Date” session for you to meet your potential partners. We will be presenting a host of consignment products to help you find partner in business.

I am also planning a large Musical Festival event in conjunction with a flea market nearer National Day in August. So dancers, singers and performaers here is a chance to strut out your stuff and go semi-professional.

We are looking for the talent in YOU. We’ll try give stage time to any person who has something to say or show. Promising exotic male dancers take note…

Hmmm…. Well, perphaps not everything. If there is more demand than expensive time slots, we’ll hold a “Scorebot Talent” audition. We’ll weed out the snakes from the snake oil.

  3. If you have not thought of it, spend this weekend thinking of what you really want to do with your life going down the road.

If you don’t want or can’t

    – Work till you die

    – Active in investments other than FD and CPF

    – Part time economic migrant to Second home abroad

    – Qualify for social welfare

Then seriously consider running some kind of business yourself whilst you have still in you to wake up and go for it.

You need it. Your savings is not going to save your lifestyle otherwise.

  4. Hi KT,

Can you keep me in the loop but I am not able to attend all Wed sessions as I have a class on Wednesdays till end 2008. I am interested in the Virtual shop and consignment products.

Sure you don’t want to send a proxy.

We have lists of consignment goods. “First come, first served”. We try as best to have a even product mix on a non-competitive basis. We don’t want to end up with everybody selling ice cream.

    “Chop” first.
