Retro – a combination of Twist/Cha Cha/Saturday Night Fever/Ago Ago

1)                  No partner required

2)                  One time course (8 lessons)

3)                  Course Fee S$35.00, Non-member $40.00

4)                  Time: 7.00-8.00pm

5)                  Teacher: Miss Maggie Ho

6)                  Venue: Clementi Community Centre

7)                  Start Date: May 16, 2008

New Rock n Roll Class (Intermediate) will commence on May 30, 2008 (8.00-9.00pm)

Member $35.00, Non-member $40.00

New Bachata Class (Elementary) will commence on May 30, 2008 (9.00-10.00pm)

Member $32.00, Non-member $35.00

  1. Wow, our Dance EO is looking cool in shades and not banging his head against a brick wall. Guess it is because his post is not sinking to the bottom like the Titanic anymore!

    Dan, guess I have to miss the 7pm class as it is a wee bit early. Also, with Rock & Roll and Square Rhumba after that, I am not sure if my legs can take it for three hours!

    Just take it as a form of exercise and you will feels satisfied that you have achieved your quota of stretching n turning for the week!

    Would like to join in the retro but have to give the 1st lession a miss on 16th coz am away…better if class can start on 30th…then can start same for Bachata…can give some details on this Bachata dance.

  9. Dan, u got mixed up la.. Retro is combination of twist/cha2/SNF and Ago2 la.. Bachata, I think shd be more advanced cha2 wif more sexy movement la..

    Bachata is a new form of dance with the music of square rhumba you can execute the dance steps
    ……with l, 2 3 and do the HIP movement to the side-up, one time to the left n repeat l,2,3 and likewise do the HIP movement to the side-up to the right. This is the basic steps.

    John, advanced RNR, u r in rite.. Mayb if next wk u join d retro, u can stay bck n look2 c2 our curr Elem RNR lor, aimai..
