  1. Hi Douglas,

Very exciting cycling trip. I wish I could join you but likely not.

Got a Q for you. I have thot of a overnight retreat to Desaru. I notice you mention Tg Pengelih jetty. Is this the only jetty or there are other jetties, convenient to travel to desaru? and what would the prife for ferry to and fro? like to use it for trip planning.

    Thank you.

  2. Hi Boss
There are 2 ferry departing points from Singapore.

    1. Changi Point Ferry Terminal.
    2. Changi Ferry Terminal.
The most budget one is departing from Changi Point, one way ferry cost Sgd11, maximum 12 passengers. Taxis are easily available from Tg Pengelih jetty to Desaru.

Ferry from Changi Terminal goes to Tg Belungkor, is larger and carries more passengers but cost more.
    Do Google ferry schedule.

Another budget alternative is bused from Larkin bus terminal to Bandar Penawar then a short cab ride to Desaru hotel.
    Hope that helps

  3. Hi June
Have not seen you in our cycling events for a long time :)

It’s going to be fun cycling leisurely side by side through the kampongs. We will also cycle at night to see and maybe count the stars.

Please buy you own travel insurance for your personal protection and do include ‘extreme’ sports as you will be cycling.
My favourite travel insurance company for extreme sport is Direct Asia.

    Cheers

  4. Hi Douglas

I have made an enquiry to Direct Asia.

    Recommended two type of Travel Insurance : Travel 100 @ S$21.85 and Travel 200 @ S$24.15

Will buy online once the trip is confirmed. Thank you for your advice.

    June Koh
