  1. Dear Lily

Thanks for the reply and explanation. I wanted to pay
the owner more $ but he said to pay him S$10.

Will you be meeting Yew Kwong? I can c/o the $10 to him.
Or how do I pay you the money, next month when we meet for
cycling or transfer $ to your account?

    Cheers
    Alicia

  2. Dear Alicia

It is correct. Rental rate is $5 per 2 hrs per bike. I paid $10 for both your bikes for 2 hours use ie. from 5 to 7pm. You came back @ 9.30pm which means you have exceeded 2 more hours but they only charged you $10. You still owe me $10.

  3. Hi All

I enjoyed my cycling today and the chatting after the cycling.

    1. Lin Chauh – Thanks for the coffee & Banana Cake
    2. Ronald lee – Thanks for dinner

Nice meeting Andrew Koh & Victor Khor …. maybe one day I will join u people for the “food” gathering.

    Karen

  4. Hi Lily/Jade

    We are very puzzled!

The owner collected S$10.00 from us when we returned the bikes, (back from CV) at 9.30pm. Is this amount correct or
do we have to pay someone else for the initial payment?

    Cheers
    Mike and Alicia

  5. Yew Kwong, Douglas, Ah Nee, Jade, Lily, Lina N, Ron L, Nor, Steven, Tim, Boon L, Susan and ALL in this cycling group.

Thanks for enrolling me despite my last min in gate crashing.

    C u all latter.

  6. Hi Tim @ 37,

What in the world, bra, bra , bra and ….how come all my keys have gone missing ?

Tim, have you lost your 4 sets of “chastity” keys lately ?
Ha! Ha! They are with me right now.
    Wanna share. Ai mai ?

  7. Hi Folks

After checking on the SLA maps and street directory, I have found the address ie Marine Cove ( East Coast Recreation Ctr, 1000 East Coast Parkway, (S) 449876. Cheers anyway and thanks

  8. Need help . thanks . Can I have the full address of McDonald or the Blk 18, Marine Parade and the Carpark C3 is nearby walking distance to this MacDonald Rest. thanks

  9. ANee @ #34, why you so lorlilorsor when what you wanted to say is only this : “Lily and me to pitch for AhWahEatbra-him & AhNeeNoBra-Him…..you 2 better watch tomorrow !” (not a single word added).

Definitely we’ll watch how you pitch for these infamous h-s lors tomorrow at a place as crowded as ECP in broad daylight.

“…….you had but only got A point; not the key”. Ann-T, that’s really a good one from you.

What I hv is only a point….sigh but sighing even louder, how come all my keys have gone missing?

Hahaha, and now I know why, thanks for your confession………but frankly, you deserve to treat yrself better. Like reccee for AhWahEatbrahim who always carries a bunch of bananas……….

  10. Tim @ 22,

Time and Tide wait for no man. But for this delivery man, I’ll wait. Not meant to dampen your spirits, friend; you had but only got A point; not the key.

    Douglas @ 23,

    Noted. Thank you.

  11. Hello hello Tim & YK,

Lily and me suppose to reccee a nice spot for Terence to pitch a tent near Burger King and also BBQ pit for “peng sio ter” only mah. Both of u huh…apa macam…what??? AhWahEatbra-him & AhNeeNoBra-Him…..I ask Terence to “hum tum” both of you then you know. ha…ha….ha…you 2 better watch tomorrow !

    Ah Nee

  12. Haha, thanks YK, that’s a darn nice sequel on the fate of ANee.and now, I see B(i)ra, heeee wonder what I shd do with her?

With all these humsup talk, I suddenly remember our preacher. Would he again chide me for utting together “Annabelle & us” and then cutting it short to that 4-letter word for penetration? Seriously, he was quite funny & fun to be around………………

  13. “The Burger King ………not so far from ……….. toilet….”.

    Indeed.

Burger King and King Bugger learned their tricks from the same master Anwa. One was to become a restauranteur; the other opened shop not far away, in a toilet….and he eats bra, aptly calling himself AhWahEatbra-him.

So if ANee, while doing her reccee, suay suay reccees into his toilet, then what comes out an hour later can be a very sexy ANee with little above her knees……….heeeheee.

  14. Hi Ah Nee

The Burger King mentioned is the one next to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant, not far from your usual MacDonald meeting place, in fact “a stone throw”, as you have mentioned next to your bicycle kiosk. Terence had previously thought it was at the Big Splash, had corrected him and brought him over to Burger King, as merntioned above, and had our breadfast. So the place to look around, as requested by Terence, is around Burger King, where not so far away from Burger King there are BBQpits as well as toilet facility.

  15. Hi Cyclists

Btw, do take a look at Car Boot Sales event at Big Splash. Some of our SHC members are participating in tis event. Who knows, u may bring home priceless antiques.

  16. Hi Lily,

Mana ada Burger King at the former “Big Splash”? No Burger King lah, ada KFC, but ha..ha..ha…Terence wanted Burger King leh. So tomorrow, we will recce the area around Burger King, which is quite near to our usual rental bicycle kiosk.

Also, as suggested by Lily & Norlinda, tomorrow we shall cycle in the other direction towards Ford road for a change. Cheers! see u guys & gals…Rain or Shine, we will be there…”quote by Yew Kwong”

    Ah Nee

    Dear Mid-Range Cyclists

This Saturday we will be cycling in the opposite direction of Bedok Jetty towards Ford Road as we have been requested by Terence to recce the place for the ‘Overnight Camp’. Our first stop will be the BBQ pit area behind the former ‘Big Splash’ before proceeding to end at Ford Road. All suggestions are welcome.

  17. Heeee, Douglas-C, if she decides to make me smell her you know what and fact that you hv stood on my side will make you an involuntary sniffer too…….it can be ddictive, you know.

Long time no see you so must catch up with you at cycling this saturday……………..bell rings so can go home liao.

  18. AnnTo, patiently, yr laundry has waited a week for you and lovingly it can wait another day……….that way, you’ll get to smell the sweetness of true love…………

  19. Hi Douglas @ 13,

Regrets, cldn’t come this Saturday. Got to stay home and wait for the delivery of my washing machine; and then to catch up on the whole week’s laundry.

Really appreciate your offer, cld I keep it for a later date?

  21. Thanks Douglas, for your detailed information. Really appreciate your taking time and effort in organising this cycling activity.

The information on “Usual Program” is very useful and helpful, especially for first timer; perhaps such info can be included as part of the monthly cycling details.

    C U soon!

  22. helo, i want to go leh..how come my name not registered?..thot told EO standing instruction boleh tak?
i block my calendar whole yr for cycling event..rain or shine..hehe

Douglas…alamak why not we try different route, instead of turn left to Bedok Jetty..this time we turn rite to Ford Rd..think its same distance either way…then we can continue any route to water ski area or Bedok Jetty.

I am game for Changi Village, but think we must start earlier, shall we gang?

  23. Hi Patsy #10

    1) Which is the nearest underpass to McDonald?m = Blk 18 Marine parade or Carpark C3

    2) How does it work with rental of bike? = if you means the rental cost, than its about $5-$6.

    3) What’s the distant we will be cycling? = some may cycle up to changi village, others may cycle up to Bedok Jetty.

Look forward to hear from you soon. = you are welcome

    regards

  24. Hi Lena and Anne To

As the cycling proper starts at 4pm, could we meet 3pm at McDonald and have a discussion on theory and some practical lessons on cycling.

    Topics include

    getting on and off
    emergency stopping
    braking
    using gears
    avoiding falls

Let us know and we will be there to help you overcome your phobia.

    regards

  25. Hi,

My cyclingphobia increases with falls (or age?)and I have not gone near a bicycle since that fateful day in Feb. Hopefully, a refresher course helps.

  26. Hi Yew Kwong,

Please include me. I enjoyed myself last month with all of you although I have not been cycling for ages. Looks like once you know how to cycle you can still do it, same as swimming.

  27. I would like to join the cyling on 19 Jul 08. As this is my first time, like to know more information:
    1) Which is the nearest underpass to McDonald?
    2) How does it work with rental of bike?
    3) What’s the distant we will be cycling?
Look forward to hear from you soon.

  28. I’m not going to be around the next two weeks but will def want to join in this cycling activity next time round. Only thing is … are there any volunteers out there willing to impart cycling lessons to a very very very late starter? I would so appreciate some lessons :D Many thanks!
