DANCE FEVER – WHAT’S YOUR MOVE (UP-DATE)

HI ALL SHC DANCERS

First of all let me and Alice congratulate James and Susan Tan for organising  the sparkling dance show at the Kovan CC last night, which unfortunately we were not able to be presence.  The coming dance event at the Esplanade will definitely bring more interest to the dancing circle of the SHC. 

Heres the latest highlights of the DANCE FESTIVAL at the ESPLANADE   –  STRICTLY BALLROOM

DATE:       19th OCTOBER, 2008 (SUNDAY)

VENUE:     ESPLANADE OPEN COURTYARD  (stage right in front of the Main Entrance)…F R E E….

ATTRACTIONS:    Performances and workshops By top American Professional Champions DB & KG                       (unfortunately non SHC names are not allowed to be mentioned here)

                           Performances by 10 Dance Youth Champions

SCHEDULES:       6.00 to 6.45pm  Latin Cha Cha, Jive and Samba performances by youth champions

                                                     Jive workshop for kids (aged 6 and above) by DB & KG

                            8.15 to 10.30pm Latin Cha Cha, Rumba and Paso Doble performances by DB & KG

                                                       Waltz and Rumba workshop by DB

                                                        Non-stop ballroom and social dance music by  top DJ to party the night away.

    As the saying goes…..the show will go on…come rain or shine, tonight at the Esplanade.

    We have received many calls, enquiring whether the performances will go on. Please rest assured, as it will be shifted indoor to the FORECOURT.

  2. Hi Danz & Joyz, Doreen, Susan & James.

    Is nice to hear from all of you and your great interest in dancing. Come Sunday, you’ll definitely marvel at the professionals doing their steps, and the workshops thereafter will be of great interest as well.

    We have watched the “Latin Fever” last week performed by top Salsa dancers. It was an experience not to be missed, as we went over the routines after the performances, a few salsa steps to keep you going. It was a fantastic show.

    Not forgetting the LINE DANCERS on 18th OCT at the same time and at the same place, the line dancers will be doing their “BOOTS SCOOTIN’ BOOGIE” .

    For all those who are attending the show on 19th Oct (STRICTLY BALLROOM), drop in at the DANCE BOOTHS, next to the stage to get FREE VOUCHERS, if you register your contacts there that very night.

    Yes, will be there on both nites Oct 18 (linedance event) and Oct 19 (Ballroom and social event)…

    Thanks you for bringing to our attention such fabulous dance performances. This is an opportunity for all dancers and would-be dancers to have a taste of all the exquisite dance routines achieved by all these dance experts!

    All dancers, come and watch and it free, who know some of these dancing champions may have rub some magic in us to pursue a life long interest in dancing!
