Stars-in-Concert (Grand finale) – your feedback

Last night was the most memorable night for our Stars in concert.  They gave us a fantastic performance on stage, complete with songs from different languages, dialects, costumes and dance background.  The Stars poured out their hearts, and drew emotions of friendship and closeness.

True to SilverHairs, the audience gave their hearts back in return too.  They screamed, yell, whistle, stand and clap to see their fellow SilverHairs friends, expressing their love, sadness and joy.  Standing or sitting in the auditorium, one would have felt the immense closeness between audience and Stars.

After exactly two years of conceptualising Stars-in-Concert, we had a wonderful and dedicated committee to make this event come wildy memorable.  A truly heartwarming evening indeed.  I hope  you have enjoyed the concert.

On behalf of the committee, and everybody who had a hand in the show.

  1. Last night was one of sparkles, glow and cheer. Our Stars and audience clearly took down the roof of the SGCC auditorium, and gave Serangoon Gardens a great shake.

Please feel free to share your bouquets, feedback and feelings on our 1st Stars-in-Concert. And, finally, a big big thank to everyone who make this event what it was last night.

  2. WOW! WOW! WOW!

The SHCians are terrific. Last night at Stars-In-Concert, they drove the decibels to the ultimate, over and miles above what I have anticipated from the music. I boosted the volume to 150%, almost busted the speakers, but still couldn’t cover up those applaud and cheer from the audience. Finally have to call in the technician to add on a “music reproducer” in order to suppress it. It’s louder than the Kallang Roar.

THANK YOU…THANK YOU for all your support.

  3. Hi RonaldL,

You had the best view of the Concert, right from behind all of us. You really make the evening; the audio was just excellent and the microphones turned out loud and clear. You cordinated well with the comperes and the Program choreographer, For those who had attended the rehearsals, we see the improvements, and we know you have taken all pains to make sure the final sounds right. Thank you.

  4. Dear Stars performers,

Thank you for the great performance. A big applause to everyone. It was a marvelous evening and we had a great time.

Thanks Lily & committee too for their hard work. CatY & Thomas, you both did a great job as MC. :)

    Cheers,
    Suzhang

  5. Hi,

An auditorium sound system is quite different from music stage and in the disco club. Thank you to all for bearing with me all this while and I say “I am sorry” to those that I could not meet their expectation. Cheers.

  6. Hi to everybody,

I was one of the last to book a ticket but was glad to have done so.

There is certainly a lot of talent, “LIVE” and spice in SHC.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and thanks to all who put in the effort.

WELL DONE to all the organisers! WELL DONE SHC

  7. Thanks to the idea, EO and Committee, singers, dancers and comperes for this successful event.

When Lin and Shirleen did their first number, WOW! don’t they look sexy! Their backup dancers Agnes and Mega came twisting in added the mood of the sixties.

Hamidah and Nor too looked stunning, so do their dancers in their kebaya.

Some I heard for the first time, like Peng Peng, Janet and Helen – and they are like pro. I enjoyed the duet by Janet and Tim. As shirleen sang her Japanese song and Dan&Joy waltzed in, they made such a lovely couple and sight.

Caroline with her Where the boys are? brought back memories of younger days when Connie Francis was one of my favourite singer.

Although I do not understand Hokien when Annie and Patrick did their numbers, it didn’t matter, I was high with my clapper and whistle.

BL seemed overwhelmed by the screaming and whistling from the audience and more so cos his mama was there to support him, that he forgot the mike for awhile. But who cares, we love you all the same.

Thanks to all of you, I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

And finally, thanks Charles for the lift to Toa Payoh.

  8. With few exceptions, comperes and performers took to the stage tentatively, gingerly, knowing not whether if the roof was brought down, it was for a boo-boo, a botched show or for a performance which was better than passable by amateurs & first-timer standards.

As it turned out, the audience was spontaneous and rousing with its support which finally removed the last bit of inhibition in us…. Almost everyone went wild and boisterous as if it was an affirmation to Annie Loh’s rendition “Hor Jiu Si Hor”. Yes, good is nothing less than good.

Boon Liang was our Rod Stewart for the nite and, with his egging spectators to join in, he got them so excited that they literally took over his song, so much so that Lily had to show Boon Liang the Rod and no fewer that 10 international hand & finger-signs to remind him that he was the singer and not the conductor of an audience turned choir. That kind of maddening fun & spontaneity in participation no rehearsal could ever prepare an audience for.

I was lucky to take the front row and got to see what no privileged rich DOM would when Lin and Shirleen enticed so tantalising in their shirt skirts (no typo, a shirt that also make the length of a sjoirt, that short) and leotard-like tights respectively. Naughty naughty of them to cause my eyes to squint for the rest of the nite and even now.

And I never knew Norlinda is so big…….her past-time will be better spent sewing kebayas than planting papayas.

Befittingly, my post has to end with a word of thanks to those who helped put up the show and all who took time off to join us………..

  9. I particularly like the “tong tong chiang” sang by Patrick. This SIC will be the lunch time hot topic later when Suzhang, Norlinda & myself going for lunch though Boon Liang…..“Don’t like to talk about it”. Overall I agreed with Annie Loh…..”ho si ho” very very good lah. Thanks to EO Terence and team for making this fun and roaring night. Wow! and a big applause to all the STARS at the stars-in-concert. I enjoyed very much :)

  10. Hi Singers, Performers & Committee members,

Thank you all for your hard work in putting together such a great show. Could barely believe that was a 45-plus concert. So full of vibrancy. Reminded me of the Grasshoppers and 5566. The audience was wonderful & spontaneous! My ears are still ringing. Really enjoyed it.

Thank you also to Terence for coming out with this “crazy” idea. Your dream has come true! Thanks for sharing it with us…

  11. Yes, its indeed a most entertaining concert with stunning ‘Stars’ dressed in their best, showcasing their hidden talents as they head for that microphone on stage!

We, SHCians, are equally great audience who’ve shown our support & spontaneity with our clapping and whistling, enhancing the enthusiasm of all. Agreed that this event is a big success, especially with Lily, who has painstakingly choreographed the whole concert, and Ronald Lee manning the sound system meticulously. Our two MCs, Thomas & CatYeo, you 2 are great comperes with your good sense of humour in introducing the performers before they take to the stage.

As I was busy with the introduction of new members, I did not get the chance to walk over to the buffet table, and would like to pen my sincere thanks to my dear and graceful Tajie Grace Wong, who had brought me a plate of mee siam to avert my hunger pangs. Appreciation goes to Molly Chua too, for her good selection of menu, and a well organised table seating in the Heliconia Room filled with loads of fun & laughter.

To conclude, my Congrats to Terence,Lily, and her team of committee members, this is an event that has led to a good start of a New Year!!

    Cheers~!

  12. I think all the committee members and participants deserve a round of applause for their effort in making this concert a success. It must have taken many hours of practice and creativity to put forward such a show. It takes courage to stand up on that stage, let alone sing and compere.

I know Ah Nee had fun cos she kept on beating her imaginary drum when Patrick sang. Boon Liang’s mum was happy that he has such a supportive and fun loving bunch of friends. Even if the sound system was below par it does not matter. What mattered most was that we had fun! A big thank you to all for putting this concert together.

  13. Hi All,

Cath Yeo and I were doing our best. We are glad that you had enjoyed the concert. We would to take this oppournity to thank everyone who made this concert a successful one. Without all of you, this concert would not be possible!!!

    Rgs,
    Thomas Loh

  14. Committee members and participants, well done! It was a memorable evening for all SHCs, a great testimony to what we could achieve when we set our minds to it. AND not least, the wonderful and participative audience.
    Cheers

  15. Dear Suzhang and Sue Chan,

Thanks for the compliments! Thomas and I, although apprehensive at first, did enjoy ourselves emceeing the show. What contributed to the success were the stars’ cooperation and of course the wonderful responsive audience like you!

Silverhairs? – Life is just beginning!

    Thank you all who attended.

    Warm regds
    Catherine Yeo

  16. Hi folks,

The Stars-in-Concert was my first attendance in your activities since joining recently.

Oh boy! what a rolling good time I had. The crowd response was fantastic. In staging this concert, I could see that there is much multi-talent, resourcefulness and self-proficiency among the SHCians. Almost everything a professional show promotor would have done – were there:- like stage management, sound system/control, lighting effects, scripting, choreography, costumes (kabayas), backup dancers, theme songs, superb guest relationships, good MC coordination and of course the tasty food (especially the mee-siam). Overall, it was a good program, no doubt with much hard work.

I also think that the half-hour break was a good idea. Biologically speaking, when we sit too long in one stretch while watching a show, ‘fatigue’ tends to set in. We get restless if not bored. So the longer break to allow members to mingle and ‘recharge’ with a good refreshment spread (to stop any hunger pangs) was a welcome relief. This energizing effect was seen when the SHCians came roaring back in the 2nd half screaming for more actions!

Enthusiastic crowd response and support mean so much to all stage performers. That evening, there were plenty. In fact, the singers were themselves ‘wowed’ if not ‘shaken’ by the almost non-stop grooving, cheering, whistling and screaming of the members beyond their expectation. The spontaneity was carried over when even after the MC ended the show, many SHCians were still grooving instead of making a beeline for the exit.

To my mind, this augurs well for the future. So I think with this enriching experience, the next concert by the SHCians could probably be the ‘Next Big Thing’

I am glad I joined. Meanwhile, my best wishes and kudos to all SHCians especially Mr Terence and his Committee members for staging the well organized concert.

  17. Hi all,

Good thing I did not miss the concert, cause my dream of being selected was gone in the first round on Sat. So Hamidah your dream came true with Norlinda and the beautiful ladies dressed to match Channel 8 Nyona series. Your group performance was up to Bollywood standard, the singing, dancings and especailly NOrlinda’s eye contact that dances with the audience as well.

Could have easily fall for the Nyonya ladies with their elegance, grace and the joy they did their dance.
Also enjoyed especially Lin and Shireen performances with the backup dances. It is really something to have the stage to sing and having dancers to backup your performance, my dream too lah Hamidah?

Overall the concert was well managed by the MCs, CAt and Thomas to make the evening enjoyable without being too concerty. However the sound system could have really make the concert more artistic (could not hear the diction of the singers, tonal quality, spatial presence, etc), much more exciting if it was better. It did not really do credit to the singers who have put in alot of effort and did sing well.

Well for SHC’s first concert pushed by our founder Terence, it is milestone towards more fun, joy, healthy living, reliving dreams, etc when we pass 45, and the concert did just that for many of them, and was glad I did not miss it.

So cheers to SHC, our founders Terence, Richard and Margaret who were there to support the event and us all.

  18. The last time I heard Annie Loh sing was in Pangkor Island. She sang to 1000 coconut trees and about 10 coconut heads, including mine. I could not figure out what she was doing until she sang again at this concert. She taught me that a good singer does not necessary always sing in tune, she enjoyed it and it was contagious.

Annie you are ‘Hor Jiu Si Hor’

  19. Right from the start, I knew I was going to miss this great event. Quietly in my heart, I was hoping a live telecast…just dreaming only lah. I can only ask for the next best i.e. selected items of the concert on Youtube?

    From your desperado member, Ivy.

  20. I must thank Terence for his vision and foresight to plan such an event, giving some of us (without any experience and raw “singers”) a chance to appear “Live” on stage.
Everyone was WILD man, esp, the spontaneity and the rousing response from this wonderful audiences.

    YOU GUYS ARE SIMPLY GREAT!

Thanks Ooi Cheng #7, Ah Nee#9, Lina#12 & Tim#8 for your comments – Ya, my mama was shocked, never heard me sang at home, not even hum any tune all this years but she did truly enjoyed the evening and was delighted to see the “fun loving bunch of friends” I’ve got ….as Lina puts it.

This song I sang was a supposed to be slow rock but wow, what a wild bunch of enthusiastic and great supporters from the floor, it just rocked the whole auditorium, Overwhelming!

Thumbs up to all the organizing committee and everyone who has put in so much effort in making this 1st SHC Star-in-Concert the most memorable event in 2009.

  21. Hi

I would like to thank Terence for making my dream come true, that is to give me a chance to sing on a “real” stage. I have always harboured a dream to perform to a “live” audience and it has come true.

Thanks to Lily for making such a great EO, Ronald Lee for bathing my disc so that they behaved themselves, Molly for the tasty mee siam goreng, Karen for the lovely deco, Janet, Grace and Jie for making sure everyone has the flappers and whistles to create the atmosphere and last but not least, Dolly for the great “bao kau liao” heee!

If being a singer with organisers and committee members like the ones we had at SIC and if all concert audiences are like the one we had at SIC that night, I would love to be a singer in my next life.

We had such a good time preparing for the concert, watching Janet’s unique way of pumping up the balloons, the joy and the laughter we shared. Terence quietly enjoying the ruckus we created.

Thanks for the great time and the memories that I will keep for a long long time.

The spontaniety of the audience and the atmosphere were just awesome!

    Warmest Regards
    Caroline Gee

  22. Dear Terence and all members

Ha! Now I am free.Guess I was the happiest! You don’t know how all yr goodness and sportsmanship mean so much to Lily and her committee. She is very, very good.Always around to see to the finest details, and never once complain.Just overly polite and caring. All her hard work and timing from the start to the end was PERFECT!Give her 3 rounds of applause!!Of course, not forgetting Dolly, her capable assistant. And I want to say, U all were really great!EACH AND EVERYONE!

    Sincerely thanking all, JanetH.

  23. Dear Caroline

Ha!At first I don’t know what the laughter was all about! Now reading yr comments, I understand.Me really gundu and suaku!!I really, really enjoyed all the moments and time with u all.Life should be like that, good friends and good company.
    Glad I join SHC.

    Lots of kisses, JanetH.

  24. To all our Stars and committee, if you raise your hand, you can be very sure, you will be given a chance to perform, be an EO or be a member of a committe.

I am a believer that if you say you will try, this is good enough. You will get support all the way. The Stars-in-Concert is one good example. Let’s make the SilverHairsClub one of the most exciting clubs in Singapore.

  25. Hi Ivy #20,

I had actually planned to broadcast the concert live on internet. But did not do so, as hands were full. We shall remember all our overseas members, for future events.

  27. Hi Oi Cheng, Patchan, Ron Wie
Tks for your compliments. Ron Wie, mine not bollywood std lah, dat std is when I sing Hindustani song next time haha. I really like to thank the audiences for boosting performers moral support. I was having slight cough dat nite but once my item over don care oredi lah, I also shout “tong tong cheng” for Patrick. My 3 Nyonya dancers, after dance over, no more lady like leh…all so havoc, also cheer & shout so loud. I’m very sure all the performers are happy to see audience enjoying themselves that nite.
    Hamidah

  28. Dear Hamidah

Ha Ha!U are right. All the performers were superb!Me too also shout a lot, and poor BL is seated next to me.He’s a jolly nice fellow. One of your nyonya dancers is also a very good mj kaki.Guessing game now, ha!Please don’t blame me cos I can’t resist adding this little secret.U all are talented, man.

    A good morning now, JanetH.

  29. To all the Committee members and audiences

I would sincerely thanks for your encouragement and support for me to sing on the stage. I won’t be able to perform freely without your tremendous rousing cheers and participation.

The song selected has its meaning – wishing all SHCians ‘Hao Jiu Shi Hao’ (????)in year 2009 !

    Ah Nee & Tian Soo

Thanks for your compliments. Special wishes to both of you always ‘Hao Jiu Shi Hao’ ????.

  30. Hi Karen #27,

Yes, the videos were taken. However I have looked at them a few times, and wondering what to do with them. I am trying to see how to edit them to manageable lengths, say 10 mins long.

Banner pictures will keep changing. Too many good photos. Some are too nice.

    Terence Seah

  31. Haha Janet. I really like you. You are very adorable. When you work, you really put your heart and soul into it. And when its fun time, you make the best out of every moment.

Thats the way we should live, at least thats what I think. A pity I dont MJ. Otherwise, will have more fun time dry swimming with you and other SHC members.

    Have a nice day!

    Warmest Regards
    Caroline Gee

  32. Dear #16,

Professional show ProMotor, isn’t it comparable to Formula One.A great achievement from SHC.Keep it up!!!

    Dear #21,

SIC participants is phenomenal candidates. They are all raw gems not raw singers just like you who still polishing so that the world can enjoy its brilliance.

Millions appreciation to our CEO and committee members for their tireless effort to make this concert a fabulous event.

Food and beverages wise, it is simple and tasty. But due to economy crisis i guess no topping up is allowed. Despite overwhelming crowd there was 2 empty trays for my eyes only and the creamer left few sips to take me to paradise. Half hour interval during the show, i refrain myself from going to the pantry fearing that only the cutlery left dancing all night long.

overall, it is a momentous affair of my life.I really had a good time indeed that night.

    Thanks U people.

    Regards
    Ros White

  33. Hi Janet #29
Of course I know who is the MJ kakis Nyonya dancer. I, Nor, Ros, Zariah & Norhayati also MJ kakis but ours stands for MAKAN JAMU (Eat Indonesian Herbs)not Mahjong lah hee..hee .

    Hi Ros White
I’m Rosewood ha.ha. Happy to meet you & so spoting some more dat nite. U hv my namecard so pls email or sms me your contact so that I can keep in touch with you too. Mana boleh One Way Ticket.

    Hamidah

  34. Bravo! to the singers/performers. It was a night of “Stars”! How you guys twinkle & glow whilst the audience cheered “an understatement”… we were truly a WILD bunch!

With all the rukus from us, the audience, I bet the singers might have some difficulty to hear the music loud though it seems juz as we could hardly hear them but that did not stop us from blowing our whistles with glee and for once, I am so glad I have the clappers to clap & flap all I want; otherwise, I will be nursing my sore palms!

Hamidah, you rite… the Nonyas were so demure on stage but later in the evening wow, so hot leh! Anyone noticed our co-founder-Richard Kwok was trying to follow Hamidah’s line dance lead, even though he could hardly keep up with you, he was truly enjoying himself! 3 Cheers!

TimL, juz a hint, next time take the centre seat then, need not squint lor LOL

A wonderful night……Thanks much to the EO & team esp those helping behind the scene.

    ChristinaCL Chan

  35. “TimL, juz a hint……..take the centre seat then, need not squint lor……”

Thanks Chris-C but if I did that, instead of squint eyes, I’ll get bak cham (conjunctivitis).

Since the 2 gals cant both stand in the middle i had to squint to see them.

Had I sat in the centre, I wd only get to see this guy. I cant believe I wont sei bak cham staring at that which dangled tamely from Patrick Yeo’s middle………..long, flat and like a damp squid.

………..i was referring to his banan embroidered neck-tie.

  36. My sincere thanks to all…SIC committees in front & behind scenes…fellow stars…SHC audience…for making this first star-in-concert a memorable event!!!

    With deep appreciation,
    Janet Chan

  37. Photos for stars in concert uploaded.

Do a search stars in concert then select the last posting by Terence (Grand Finale), scroll to bottom of post to click link.

    Happy viewing!

  38. Dear Caroline and Hamidah
Thanks for yr replies.Just thinking that if 3 of us on the mj table, we will definitely have a hilarious time!See, I am laughing aloud now….

    Dear Oi Cheng and photographers
Thanks to u, people – The photos were all very well taken.Really had a swell time that evening and looking forward to another such event!

    Have a nice day, JanetH.

  39. “#36 TimL, you are Normal norm. I gaga more at the girls kakaakaka next year, Guys be studded!”

Chris-C, when I behave myself, I am abnormal but when I ki siow, I become normal…….now, who is not so normal, you or me?

And you asked that we guys be studded next year. Seriously we wont mind if you find us enough numbers for us to do our stud duties………..but dont anyhow kasabotak kakak for us hor.

Yes, the fotos were well taken except one who is getting uglier with each passing day……was that why she offered him the white shawl he draped round his neck as if to tell him….go hang yrself.

  40. The “Stars in Concert” was a very memorable event. Although I’m a non-Chinese, I enjoyed the 1st item and Tim Liu’s Mandarin song very much. I couldn’t believe that “Silverhairs” could raise such a racket! Bravo to all the performers, dancers, emcees and especially to the EOs!

The brickbat which I feel must be brought up is the catering standard of Serangoon Gardens Country Club. The fried meesiam was very dry (especially the fried tau-kwa), the chicken wings and vegetarian samosas were nowhere in sight by the time I went to take my food. Maybe I was a bit late but I think that the food should be replenished as soon as the tray is empty.

It could be that the bulk of the money collected went towards paying for the use of the Auditorium, but even so,
SHC has held many events there and may use the premises and caterer again soon, so I think that someone should speak to the Management about it. Just my 2 cents say.

    Cheers!
    Angela.

  41. Thank you Angela for liking my song and for that I am yours for a song but this offer closes the minute we enter the Year of the Kerbau when you start giving me angpau……

What I like about SHC is it has a good mix of races and everyone mingles and interacts with each other freely and over time, find their interest groups.

As regards the food quality & quantity, I do agree with you and I dont see anyone should object to feedback and suggestions.

However, obviously, there must have been constraints, not least when the $16 had to be thinned out to defray for both food and auditorim, equipment and amenities costs. And it was very nice that despite this little blot, everone had let his/her hair down and enjoyed.

It was apt that Huan Le Jin Xiao was chosen as the first song to set the mood. Yes, relish this moment………and cherish it………….

  42. Hi members

All said and done, all of us had a great a time at Stars in Concert – 2 wonderful Emcees, great performers/singers, dancers, enthusiastic EOs and not forgetting Ronald Lee who did a great job manning the sound system. Without Ronald Lee, it could have been a different story. I sincerely hope he would go on to volunteer his services for our next function, not a Stars in Concert, but maybe just a sing and dance jam session – no need for rehearsals but just a jam session where members can let their hair down and sing and dance to their favourite music.

I agree with Angela Straaten at #43 who said that “the catering standard of Serangoon Gardens Country Club is below par.” Yes, there was not enough food for paying members but we have to bear in mind that there were other costs involved, like cost for the booking of the auditorium, etc. Maybe we should think of a cheaper venue, like Kovan CC ot Toa Payoh East CC hall.

We should think of a regular, maybe a quarterly or half yearly, sing and dance jam session at one of the CCs, as it is indeed quite obvious that we have enthusiastic nonya dancers, singers/performers, etc, in our membership, and not forgetting, of course, the members who are vociferous and encouraging.

Cheers and Gong Xi Fa Cai!

    Mega

  43. It’s now almost a week since we had our Stars-in-Concert. The event received good feedback on the Stars, the audience and the committee. The negative feedback includes insufficient refreshments or top up. I hope this feedback will be considered by the next committee.

I have also heard that some SHCians would like to participate and sing in the concert; but were not given the opportunity. No worries, please raise your hands the next time, and I believe the next organisers will consider.

The first Stars-in-Concert is a starter on its own. And, to set the pace going for the 2nd Stars-in-concert, if you like to be the next EO for Stars-in-Concert, please raise your hand. The next EO will be free to decide on the venue, keep the cost at $16, choose his/her own committee, and determine the program, if it moves away from singing. In principle, the selected EO decides. So, please raise your hand.

    Terence Seah

  44. Sengh ah Sengh, as you can see I have my bath towel round my neck and about to shower when you drag me out to stand upo there. Can i now go for my bath (and now I have this urge to also pung sai) so please please let the better looking ones to step up…………….

  45. Hi Mega #45,

I like your idea of a quarterly or semi-annual jam-cum-joget
session at a CC. It would be great if someone can get the
multifunction hall for free or at a heavily subsized cost.

The last time I enquired at couple of CC, it cost $600-$800
for a one nite event. This excludes the sound system.
If members are willing to pay about $10 (with only soft
drinks provided), this would be a feasible idea and
    exclusively for us.

Else the other option is to go back to some CC like Kovan, where the private cafe owner can provide us the use of
stage and sound system for free. Only obligation is that no
we have to purchase food n beverage
from them. The other limitation for large group of people,
we have to sit in the open and dine al fresco.

The best of both worlds would be if some1 has connection with
any CC, such as a CCMC member who can get the MF hall next
    to f.o.c.

    james

  46. Hi Mega, James and all,

I agreed that to keep the SHC active, lively there should be quaterly events. The quaterly events though dont have to elaborate requiring too much effort as the idea is more for all to have fun, continue to improve their dance steps, keep in touch and to meet new friends.
Kovan CC is a good option but then also with larger group of members, what we can do is to attend certain functions in a group thus making these our quaterly events. For example the coming Valentine dance nite at Marine Parade on the 14th Feb, Sat in an air-conditioned hall that large is a good event ready made for SHC members. Moreover with Michelle Khoo (SHC member) as one of the organisers I am sure all SHC members will feel at home.
So let us get all SHC couple to join in and make this an SHC event ,so Robert bring Kristy and I am sure Ronald and Alice will join , Vivien and Michell and hubbies. So calling all married couples in SHC let us make it this event a special Valentine event. For those singles no worries many ladies around too, so Mega, join me and the ladies and I am sure you can bring some more ladies.
Francis and committee for the Mega Dnd 2009 perhaps the whole committee can booked a table and learn from this event too and Michelle can provide her experience organising such events as she has been the EO for many years.
So hurry all those who feel like enjoying this night with friends and love ones as there will be only limited tickets for SHC members. Can email me at bswi@yahoo.com or Michelle direct at michelle_ds_khoo@yahoo.com.

Also on the same note of such events, the biggest Spore street party is on tomorrow night at Andrew’s road from early evening till 3am, with Tiger Beer at special price ,etc. So ?? James, Susan ??

  47. Stars-in-concert closing accounts: We have the final accounts from SGCC, covering use of auditorium, and F&B. Accounts as follows:
