Hi Dolly #12,
You are welcomed :-)
If you joining dance class, shall we go together?
BTW my email Silvie_1661@yahoo.com.sg
Kind Regards,
Genet
sorry, typo error…..SKIRT not shirt.
May I take this opportunity to thanks Francis & the committees for their hard work in organising the D&D, it is not an easier task, just to gather a few friends or family members is already quite a ‘headache’.
Genet, thanks for giving us a lift home.
Haha, thank you Dan but me more suited to geylang nite than gallant knight.
I saw this dame, charming by her age, at a k’ok joint frequented by seniors like us. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Then she went up the stage to sing and it was like road runner riding the roller coaster. One moment her voice floated like a butterfly in seven heavens and the next, she groaned like a wounded tigress dragging her feet in the abyss of despair.
She smiled at me, I smiledback but this time with both my eyes focussed on my nose to look like the most severely retarded.
Well, not everybody can sing but everybody has the right to sing, and to be given due respect for the courage. But what upset me was, why did she have to look so chio leh which almost cause me a heart attack without warning?
Btw, Dolly-P, most dont come with any shirt so frankly, I dont remember any purple shirt unless you can help jolt my memory by saying where it was?
If we would remember that without legs life will be a struggle, then we shall happily accept that all legs are nice altho some legs (feet) are better playing professional football than maybe legs exposed under miniskirts…………
Tim, you cannot be worst than me lah.
I still try my best though I am ‘tone deaf’, rhythmeless.
Now learning hokkien karaoke despite been clueless to music, was asked to stop singing by my siblings as they have sensitive ears.
And during the D&D, I am stepping on Jonson feet most of the time though he try to teach me the so call ‘easy waltz step’.
In case you dont remember me, I am the one that wear a long purple shirt cos I dont have nice legs to wear mini shirt to go with the theme.
regards
#8 Hi Dan,
Is that me you are refering or Patrick Lee Jnr.
Im really not game at dancing with my old boneshaker
frame though a young heart of gold.
Prefer a glass of red wine and 4 piece quartet
straining: ‘Love is Blue’ in a romantic starry nite on a
patio with my sweetheart.
Dancing excites the adrenaline, leaving no reserve for
the intimate moments of moment. Hahaha! TIM, what is your take?
Hi Dolly Peh,
Yes, I remember you asking and notice that you were enjoying yourselves and dancing away the night!
Rock n Roll class will be having the third lesson at Clementi the following Friday from 7.30-8.30pm follows my Rumba lesson from 8.30-9.30pm. No class this week as it is Good Friday.
Tim and Patrick Lee, still waiting for you two gallant knight to hit the dance floor!
Dan
Hahaha! Tim, your mind is above others.
ABSTRACT is the word. Keep it up for the humour.
(Sengh is always at your receiving end. hohoho!
“……..about the Rock&Roll class. Wonder if it is………..only rock & roll or combine with cha cha…..”
Well, if one is hit by a rock, esp if it’s a big rock hitting where it really hurts (Sengh, why are you covering yr groin with yr hands?), one definitely rolls and grimaces like a pig sent to the abbatoir.
So maybe there’s no need to attend a rock class to learn to roll.
For me, the “cha” thingy is another skill and combining it with rock & roll is quite unheard of. I mean, if you’re floored by a rock and start rolling, will you still hv the desire to cha anything, whether it’s kway teow of png or make cha siew pao ? It wd be very cha (as in cha tow) not to seek medical attention………….
Hehe…………
Hi! Dan
Remember me ?, I was the one that ask you about the Rock&Roll class. Wonder if it is too late to join the class also whether it is only rock & roll or combine with cha cha, etc.
Thanks
Thanks Dan. Birds sing, bees stings.
StevenC If you join the class, I may consider. One tall at 6ft 3ins and me at 5′ 5″ will be a great pair for the eligible ladies to choose. What say you Steve?
Hi Dan Huang,
Alamak! Another Dance post.
Dan, you are great dancer.
LeePat,
It’s time you take a closer look, dun know what you have missed if you never learn to dance! The birds can sing, but we can do more, we can sing and dance.
The ladies are waiting for the guys to take the initiative to learn to dance and to glide them through the twilight of life. It’s never to late, come lah!
Dan
Wow! Dan, our Fred Astaire of SHC. Soft spoken but a great dancer. I never favored dancing. May change my perspective on that. Let me consider the pros and cons first
hahaha !
