Hello SHCians,

The May monthly gathering is confirmed to be scheduled as follows:

  • Date : 12 May 2009
  • Time : 5.00pm to 9.00pm
  • Venue : Hans Cafe at Upper Pickering Street, Great Eastern Building
  • Entrance: Free. F&B available at the counter.
  • Agenda: 1) Photography/Video Talk by Cecil Chan from  7.00pm – 8pm   2) Updates by Abel on 1Day Malaysia Tour    3) Getting to know new and old members    4) Board Games
  • Event Organiser: LOOKING FOR ONE (VOLUNTEER TO LEAD THIS, PLS RAISE UR HAND)emoticon

New and senior members are encouraged to register to attend this meeting.  Eventhough, we had always emphasized and requested for attendance registrations, some members still have not done so but just turned up on the day itself.  Kindly note that we do not encourage any non-SHCians to attend this.

    Dont worry too much ANee, sometimes Sengh does it for free. But if he wants to be paid, he will accept anything that starts with a “r”…..roubles, rial, rupiah, rupee even recycled socks. And bcos he’s by nature kind, he can therefore be one kind and accepts payment in kind such as a 12-nite session of frogs singing lullaby to him or a solid 2-hour body massage by cow-elephant.

    I don’t think Jane Ong has any problem in her username or password. If I’m not mistaken she’s very buzy coaching her weaker student since PSLE exams are getting nearer and nearer. We are both working in the same school that’s why I’m helpng her to register.

    By the way both of us don’t have name tags, so may we request the name tags? How can I get the name tags from u?

    We appreciate your help in making the name tag for us. I drop my name tag during the last D&D, the plastic holder was still clip to my shirt but the name tag slip out and was no where to be found!

    There was no lost and found department in SHC, so please do one for me.

    No problem for making the name tags but would want to consolidate about eight names to an A4 paper, so appreciate for those who want their name tags to be made hor….come come quick quick so that I can make them and have them printed and tag onto the holder for you all…Terence, how to collect the name tags??     I hope the mthly gathering will not be too early as I finished work @ 5 p.m. or slighly late (in case I’ve to relief class I might be a bit late.) Travelling will take some time as I worked in Jurong West.

    12 May is about a month to go and if we’re rather busy but keen to meet up when we are free on that day, must we register so early.
    Some are afraid to commit ourselves and say that we would be going and then can’t make it on that day. How den?

    Sometimes, we won’t even what is in store for us in the next week in the event of work.

    Must be interesting har ! Retirees fall asleep fast. With video – must be something like the Miss World Swimsuit video hor ! No birds and bees….. Just joking lah!

    I guess you are talking abt photography. Indeed, it used to be my hobby, till the advent of digital photography. It took most of the joy away. Now – the jargon is “look, aim and shoot”. Everything is auto mode lah ! Anyhow, we guys still got to ‘shoot’ well to reproduce excellent replica of the old block, hahaha!
