Alamak, Sam-G, yr this thread got n biz leh so must say smthg to support you.
It’s kind & benevolent to give blood, and if you hv a bit more time to spend, you might actually consider donating platelets (which takes abt an hour than the 15 minutes for blood donation) which is relatively more scarce. Both procedures are quite painless, and even if you feel more than the prickly bite of the needle, the smiles of the nurses make it worth the while.
And do pls say hello to nurse Mok for me……….she must be in her sprightly 80s if she’s still there. Still chio………

It’s very nice of you to donate some of your blood. I was not able to join you; but now that you have gone for the blood donation, how was it? Is it a difficult process? meaning can you go and donate on the spot, without having to pre-poh mia.
