Salsa Nite on July 10 & 17, 2010 (Saturday)

To all dancers,

Jeffrey and I are holding this Salsa night for all dance enthusiasts. Jeffrey Gan will conduct a workshop for all to learn the basic of Salsa dance.

It will be a night to relax and enjoy yourselves in the cosy studio which is able to accomodate up to 100 pax. Music and live band support will be played for all other dances too. Come and visit and get to meet new friend and practice your dancing.

The location: EZ4U Music and Dance Studio, 169C Selegie Road.

You may park at Selegie House directly opposite or at Wilkie Edge at $2.00 per entry after 6.00pm.

Time: 7.30pm to 11.30pm

Cost: $5.00 only with two bottles of mineral drinks.

  2. Hi Terence,

    This event is mooted by Jeffrey Gan. Jeffrey tried to post the event but was unsuccessful. He approached Yew Kwong and he suggested that I help him.

    It is open to his students and those SHC member who have at some point in time learned dancing from him.

    This event is similar to the ‘Bak Chang and Dancing Nite’ organised by Ah Nee a while ago. Ideally it should be a SHC event but we just dun have the number!

    I would be glad to organise one strictly for SHC but like Dan Said, we dun have the number .If I am certain we could rope in at least 40 of the members, i would not mind opening up ‘strictly for SHC ‘ . Free usage of space and dancing . I am also considering organising a karaoke ‘ bring your own disc ‘ nite in the near future .
    Also wish to thank Dan again for troubling him again as I find it a problem ‘puttin’ into the blog . Cheers !

  4. Yes Jeffrey, let’s look at the possibility of organising a ‘Music & Dance Nite’ or Talentime 2010 with live band support instead of singing from CD.

    Rosalind, Lydia and myself have already been in discussion for such a night. The date is tentatively fixed on September 4, 2010.

    Now we have found the place courtesy of your goodselves, let’s work on other aspects for this event. The food to be catered, the cost and the number of auditioning needed.

    Ros and Lydia, if it is okay and with Terence’s blessing let’s choose a date to discuss.
