Last reminder to members, joining before 1 Mar 2012. Please ensure the email address used is as per membership application

Hi everybody,

Your email address is one of the ways we identify you as a member.

  1. When you apply as a member, you give us your email address.
  2. When you register in the club forum or website, the email address used must be the same as (1).
  3. When you write a Post or a comment, any email address used must be the same as (1).

When your email address is changed, as we do not have this data, your membership automatically lapsed, and you may have to re-apply as an Individual member again.  So, what to do?

a.  Please inform admin@SilverHairsClub.com of your email address change.

b.  At the same time, please change your email address, in your PROFILE, in the Club forum or SilverHairsClub.com.

c.  It is your responsibility to ensure you only use your registered email address to communicate with club members or the club admin.  Your participation may be put on hold, if fail to follow the above steps.

This is the last reminder for all members joining before 1 Mar 2012.

  3. With immediate effect, if the email address you use on this forum is different from your registered email address, your membership will be suspended or cancelled. You would have to reapply and start new. Please take note.

  5. Hi Terence #10

At last, I’ve managed to change my email address in my profile page. Tried umpteen times! A good lesson in perseverance though.

    Gabriella

  6. hi Silverhairs Admin/Terrence

    Sorry to borrow this post.

I wanted to write a post for the 2nd balloon IG meeting
but when I typed the enter key to give spacing to the text. All the text just disppear.

    Please advice.

  7. Hi Sylvia,

It would be nice if in future you use the Post that you have started with the Balloon event. Please read through what is going on in the club so you know who is the Picture manager. For photos, if you are the EO, which means you organise an activity strictly for SHC members only, you may send the post event pictures to King Seng who is our club’s Picture manager.

EC event pictures are not published in the Club.

  8. SilverHairsClub is the easiest club to join. Members simply need a valid email address, a valid mobile tel number and a full name. As long as all these three details match, your membership will always be valid, lifetime.

However, if the email address, mobile tel and name do not match, as per initial registration, the membership automatically becomes invalid. You will no longer be able to enter the Club or participate in its activities.

A few members, who uses other email addresses or tel numbers or even names, have abused the administrator for their stupidity and not being able to recognise them as a member, even though these members have been around for a few years. These members feel that the Club should know them as they are well known to other members. Such members will automatically be taken off totally from the Club, and will have to re-apply, subject to approval.

SilverHairsClub strives on being simple and we do not need to incur resources to manage the membership. So, I hope everybody understands. It is your duty to ensure your email address, mobile tel and name are the consistent with your registration.

One more point, members who register activities on behalf of unknown persons, may now be barred from access to the Club. Please ensure those whom you register are members. If in doubt, do not register them. Let them register for activities on their own.

While this message may sound inflexible, we need to make sure that only SHC members participate in the Club activities and forum.

In future, members who abused the Club Administrator will be published on this website.
