  1. Hi Hew Lee

My apologies re: #1. Before I could complete, the message was sent off.

Can I join in just to ‘look-see, look-see’.
Dont know how to take photos and not IT savvy.

    Regards,
    Gabriella Chua

  2. Hi Hew Lee

Please register me. Can I just use the camera feature in my iphone? Thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge and skills.

  3. Jane Chua (#3) & Judy Lim (#4) – Welcome and C U.
Lily Ho Willocq (#5) – Welcome. It is ok to use iPhone to take pictures but you can only achieve so much. WIth its limited capability, all iPhones & smart devices are intended for relatively close up subjects.

  6. Hi Hew Lee

Joining this event too. I need help with my Canon IXUS 901S. Seems I take a few pictures and it is full. Could be some adjustment but don’t know how to set or is it the memory stick?! Whatever, I am confident this will be answered/solved and I can start snapping again. Must remember to charge my camera too.

  7. Oi Cheng (#9) – Welcome & C U. “Few pictures and memory stick is full” a) Have you transfer your previous pictures OUT from the memory stick. b) Have you ever format the stick (after the pictures are transferred out).

Sock Cheng (#10) – Welcome. Nice to have you with us on this photo walk. This walk has quite a lot of “post cards” locations you find in tourist outlets. Nothing is better than seeing them through your own lens.

  8. Hi Hewlee

I forgot that we have Monthly Cycling on 17 Mar (every 3rd Saturday of each month). Hence, I am very sorry to have to back out of this photography walk. Was so looking forward to it. My apology.

  9. Kum Hong (#14) – Welcome. Thanks for your support. C U.

  11. Hi Hew Lee

Please count me in. My camera is a new simple Canon. Can only aim and shoot which resulted in blur photos.

    Thanks

    Cheers
    Agnes

  12. Hew Lee,

Would very much like to come for the session but so sorry I have another assignment on the same day and will have to miss this beautiful city skyline shootout with all of the members. Hope to see you all again on the next field trip.

All participants enjoy yourself and shoot more photos to share on the SHC website. Looking forward to your beautiful photos.

    Cheers !!
    Danny Lye

  13. Agnes Seow (#18) – Welcome Agnes. C U. Blur photos are mainly due to camera speed too slow and we are of age, hands not so steady. If your camera can set types of mode, try setting to “sport mode”.
Oi Cheng (#19) – Is CJ Ang also a SHC member? It is OK for me, welcome.
Danny (#20) – Noted, see you next time.

  14. Hi Hew Lee,

I don’t have a fantastically hi-tech digital SLR camera, although I have an old heavy filmloading Pratika German camera. But, I’ll bring my simple, light weight Nikon Coolpix 3x magnification camera. Since I’m not IT savvy, I may have to rely on my good friend Danny Lye to show me how to upload on the internet after the event.

Hew Lee, please list me in.

    Thanks a lot,

    Terry Tang

  15. Terry (#22) – It doesn’t matter what camera you have, it is the comradeship that counts. Welcome and C U.

  16. #22 Terry Tang,

Understand your situation. Whatever cameras you might have is not a problem, what you really need is a sharp eye to capture the most beautiful moment at the right time. Uploading it is also a small thing, will do if you need help.

Enjoy the comradeship with the members and happy shootings especially “Birds”….hahahaha……………

  17. Thanks Hew Lee

Looking forward to Saturday to learn new techiques of phototaking and IT but more importantly enjoy the camaraderie with friends.

    Take care

    Cheers
    Agnes

  18. Tan Li Li (#27) – Your comment only just appear under Comment 27 though you have sent your email a few days ago. This, I think, is because your comment went to the “moderation” queue which takes slightly longer than necessary time to check whether you are a SHC member or not. I am not involved in this checking. Anyway, green light is given and you are welcome to this photo interest group. C U.
