  1. Hi Christina/Lydia

    3)Tang Cheng Luang
    4)Tan Aik Hua

    Thanks and regards
    Margaret Chua

  2. Hi Christina,

I would love to join this Nature-walk with you all…
but i am NOT sure i can make it..is it OK that i cancel
last min ? Thank you for your understanding..

    Hi Charles wee,
here i am accepting your last invites to go for nature-walk..
hope to catch some fresh air and watch the sunset and smell the sea breeze…Hope i can make it. Thanks.

  3. Hi Lydia, Charles Wee and Christina,

Please register me for this walk. This will be my third time in Labrador with SHC and I think the route is very good. Further now you can see “Reflections” as it is now built.

    Steven Chan,

Instead of moaning here about your situation, why don’t you register and come down for a walk? You will not be disappointed. I remember you were a very avid participant in all the previous walks, so what happened?

Just say Yes, mark it in the diary and come down for a few hours of good fun and good food, so simple lah.

  4. Hi Christina & Lydia,

Have been wanting to go for the Labrador Nature & Coastal Walk. I guess it’s the 2.1km – Alexandra Garden Trail, Berlayer Creek and Bukit Chermin Boardwalk opened in Jan this year.

Pease register Annie Tan & myself for this walk.

    Thank you.

  5. Hi Christina Chan , Charles Wee, Lydia Soh……. and all the other EOs
Labrador sounds very interesting. I will try my very best to come.
    See you all.

  6. Hi charles wee,

Thank you ! Looking forward to watch the sunset & smell
the sea breeze and feel the earth…Hope we all are Looking
at the same picture and SEE the samething this time..
I will wear a big straw-hat..and ENJOY the fun & bring the
SMILES..because i believe we can’t do anything about the
lengths of our life but we can do something about its width &
depth…And taking Nature walks like this is good for the
souls as long as i don’t see too many buildings around…

  7. Hi EOs,

I just realised there is no mention of where the walk is and where it will end. I suspect the walk is quite short. Am I correct?

Unless we walk to Labrador Park, walk to the end of Labrador Park, back-track and go to Keppel Island and backtrack again to have dinner. Is this the plan? Even so, this is a short walk.

Dan Huang, Can you get any of your friends to arrange for a tour of the Reflections Condo to add to the walk? That should lengthen it, tho’ not make it more interesting for some. But only a suggestion.

  8. Hi Charles,

I do not have any client at Reflection or Carribean at Keppel. Sorry, cannot be of help.

The person more fimiliar with the route is Boon Liang. If you want to go further try the Sentose Boardwalk leading to Sentosa while there is a new Food Street.

    Dan

  9. Hi Suzhang

It’s good to see you joining the walk. Wish I could join, too.

Glad we met up at Han’s, a pity Ah Nee was away at that time.

    Have fun.

  10. Dear Walkers,

    thanks for the registration…
am swarmed with work, will try to respond tomorrow else, will leave it to the EOs of this walk to respond. :D

I wish to add: Labrador has a beautiful unobstructed view, those who were there would know and even if you were to walk down the same familar path, the view is still Beautiful esp towards SUNDOWN! :D :D

    So, come join us!

    Cheerio!
    ChristinaCL Chan

    Cheers,
    LS

  13. #22. Lydia,

I am most glad to be of service to SHC if you don’t mind my photographic work. Please get the members ready for a group photo so that we do not miss out anyone in the walk when we reach our designated point for photo taking.

Likewise, pray hard it will be a fine day for all of us.

  14. Nice walking route.

Any SHCians who are free (or hibernating), should make it a point to go…

Unfortunately for me, will have to give this walk a miss sigh…sigh…sigh!!

Y? My better half wants to “date” me so cannot say NO to her leh ….. our 20++ anniversary of ??? lah ….. HAHAhhahaa

  15. Hi Charles Wee & Christina & Lydia,

Very sorry i won’t be able to make it this time as
something important needs to be done urgently.

Enjoy your walk, smell the sea breeze and touch the flowers
    for me !

  16. Hi Lydia:
    Please count me in.

Thanks for making my wish come true :)

As once Labrador MRT Station was operational in the circle line, I was hoping and waiting for SHC Nature Walk EO to organize such walk in the park.

    Many thanks
    Maureen Lee

  17. Hi Chris Chan/Lydia Soh/Charles Wee,

A private matter has cropped up at a faraway location whereby I have to attend on March 10 afternoon which will take me several hours. By the time I rush down to the Labrador walk site, all of the walkers should have long gone.

In view of the foregoing, please delete my name from your list for the walk. Regret for any inconvenience caused.

    A million thanks.

    Terry Tang

  18. Hi Lydia,

WOW, WOW, so many “kawan” already registered, pls count me in.
BTW, I think you have missed out Annie Tan (Mrs Pow)
    see Johnny #09 – hehe.

    Thks for organising this walk.
    Cheers,
    Lilian

  19. Hy Lydia, Charles and members of the Walk Team

Ref #35, there may be some members who do not like or are afraid of dogs, especially BIG ones.

    Regards,

  20. Good day EOs.

  21. Hi Lydia

Please register me for this walk. Have been missing the walks due to clashes in my appointments calendar.

    Thanks very much.

    Cheers
    Carly

  22. Aiyah Christina and EO’s
Got to skip the walk again. S-in-L has overseas visitors and Ive got babysitting duties again. If I went for the walk, I would be too tired to babysit as the little one is FULL of energy.
Oh well, some other time ….perhaps.
    Sorry.

  23. #4 #5 Dear Eddy/Margaret, please advise: Have your 4 friends registered as SHC member? Please see request #5 by our Founder. Thanks!

#53 Dear EileenAng, Is your mum and sis SHC members? If not, please register them. If they are members, please provide their names. Thanks!

    Regards,
    ChristinaCL Chan

  24. #28 Ivan,
it is not only a nice walking route but towards sundown… when the lights are up! with the sea breeze blowing, ahem, romantic place for … your 20++ anniversary of…??? You need not say NO :D
after the walk go to the nearby nice NEW restaurant namely Tamarind Hill. It looks out to the South China sea, serves Thai food so, you can have it “hot”,, or make it hotter! ;)

It was formerly a bungalow, the new owner had taken at least 6months to have it restored to its original state, nostaligic!

What a night it will be!
    ChristinaCL

  25. Hi Charles and Lydia
I am coming for the walk. The only problem is I am a very slow walker and I hope there are toilet points along the way
    Regards.

  26. #63 AngieChiaw, thanks for letting us know. We, the walk team bid you a Jolly Warm Welcome to your virgin activity with SHC. :D
Trust you will enjoy other activities in the club, too!

    Sincere regards,
    ChristinaCL Chan

    See you later today.

    EO Lydia Soh

  31. Christina #55,

Only Ms Tang Cheng Luang has registered successfully as required by Terence #5. She’ll come along except Ms Long Ai Leng, Grace Goh and Tan Aik Hua. Please delete three of them from your list.

Fyi, Ai Leng had apparently encountered difficulties in the registration process. Thus quitting it now.

  32. Ronald Lam:
Noted your registration, and see you later.

    Eddy Lee:
Noted your comments. Pls tell Long Ai Leng, Grace Goh & Tan Aik Hua that they can always join our future Walks, once registered as members, thanks.
