    1. Hi Terence, Lily,

      Gingko

    2. Hi Lily,
I prefer Sijori lor… We will share the room with another 2 more ladies rite… any1 1 2 join us anot???

You can count my help if you need especially collection of $$$$.. hehehehe

    3. Hi Lily

Looking at the package, Sijori’s package is definitely more attractive and value for money. I am okay with Sijori and shld be fine with June, Nor & Ah Nee. (We will share 1 room)

      Please go ahead.

      Thanks,
      Susan

    4. Dear Terence, Lily,

My name seems to have been inadvertently left out of your list?

Seems to me Sijori is great value for money. Is this a 3 or 4 star accommodation?

      Catherine

    5. Anythg can for me, sijori or sleeping in a lorry, whatever.

insofar as roomate is concerned, there’ll be enough maids in the resort for me to room with. Only need to say hello hello to them and they will beckon you to follow follow.

You Kwong, Terence &………..if you want to save $, come ride with me.

Dolly, solly hor, the guys there very fierce, dont know how to lien hsiang sih yu so better to find yr own room otherwise next morning cannot walk, die……

    6. Aiyoh, Tim,
I will definitely find my own room la… no nid for lien hsiang sih yu la..

Hi Lily, additional info you should take note:
      1) There will be another $10 ferry pass departure charge n fuel tax charge from Spore to Batam
      2) Another $3 charge depart from Batam to Spore.

These charges I am sure are definitely not included in the package deal.

So suggest tht you factor these in and add in the local land tour guide’s tip also.

This is to ease additional collection during the trip lor…

    7. Hi Catherine aka Cyeo

How can I leave you out, huh? Some how, I thought that Annie llkk was pairing with you leh? (see Room sharing list no.2) If this wasn’t the case, I apologise – my mistake and the list have been amended.

I’ve been to Sijori twice. It 3*** by S’pore standard and 4**** by Indonesia standard. Yew Kwong have been there too and can vouch for it. It’s not a beach hotel. The rooms are in blocks of 2-storey buildings up on the hill away from the main lobby. The rooms are very basic but clean with attached bathroom. They are big with 1-double bed and 2-single beds per room.

For in-house entertainment, there’s a disco (actually just a dance hall – each time I was there, we practically monopolise it), a karaoke lounge, spa with reasonable massage packages next to the swimming pool.

You can check out the hotel at http://www.holidaybagus.com (Click on Indonesia, then Batam, scroll down to Sijori and click on ‘more info’. You will see pictures of the hotel, pool, rooms, etc.)

Hello … Dolly, well hello …. Dolly —- You are right !!

    8. Sijori, here I come !

I very “kia kwee” so quad-sharing suits me fine. Maria & Ann, do you mind another
      ‘ant’ ?

      Cheers
      Ann Lim

    9. How many Ann are there? Will the other Ann please provide surname? I’m getting confused.

Would appreciate if everyone provide more than just Ann, Joy, Mary, Maria, Rosalind, Clara, Eyvonne, Gingko, Josephine, etc. Also, when the time comes, you will have to submit your passport particulars to me. It would help me identify and match the particulars to the right person.

Sorry to be such a nag, but would greatly appreciate your co-operation. Thank you.

    10. Hi Lily,
Don’t know how come these days, I cant even edit my own text before sending… well, I accidentally pressed the ‘submit’ lor..

      Anyway, continuation as follows:

Once closing date for registration is firmed up, then next, mode of payment must be enforced also as I am very sure tht certain % downpayment a must before our booking with the travel agent is confirmed.

As for those personal particulars, I believed that these are quite std whereby you can request from the agent the form and email to each individual to provide these details and consolidate from there. What say you har???

    11. Dear Lily,

For sometime now, the ferry operators have imposed a fuel surcharge and also collect the seaport tax etc on behalf of the Spore Cruise Centre.

Thus, when you are negotiating a deal with a tour operator, do be careful whether the price quoted includes these charges (better if one lump sum is paid to the tour operator who will then take care of all these hassles for us).

I will separately email to you my passport details. Meanwhile if you need my help pls let me know.

timothy liu (not exactly the p/p name tho)

    12. Hi Lily,

Pls sign us in for quad-sharing S$79/pax at
      Sijori Resort Batam.

Cheryl Ho , Elizabeth Hwang , Janet Ng, …?…
( we are short of 1 person n any lady want to
      join us ?)
      Thanks

    13. Good idea from Dolly dated May,21 th. to collect all the charges at once.
In case I got not enough money, have to swim back from Batam to S’pore

    14. Hello Dolly – would you like to take over? I’m all for it. You are definitely a better organiser than I am.

As told you in my email, my style is quite lay-back because I want to enjoy the trip too. I won’t give myself unnecessary work and I have my own system that works for me.

Seriously Dolly, please take over. I would be very glad to sit back and relax.

    15. Thanks Yew Kwong

For notifying me that Annie llkk is the same person as Annie Low.

Thanks Annie llkk aka Annie Low

For not clarifying this with me.

    16. Dear Cheryl Ho

Are your friend Elizabeth Hwang & Janet Ng members of SHC?? Are they able to log-in to this website? You can sign up for them but they have to be members. This trip is strictly reserve for SHC members only.

      Thanks
      Lily

    17. Lily, so you hv put Terence, Yew Kwong & Anthony with me huh?

Understand that sijori is built atop a hill with bushes everywhere which makes it easy for Terence to stay away the whole nite looking for crawlies which means we hv more room to ourselves. Not bad but…………….

You Kwong does worry me a bit. See, he’s usually mild & friendly BUT if in a foul mood, he seems to know more in your family tree than you do so if I dont respond to yr morning call, pls prepare the long box. Heee, for him, not for me.

Anthony? Well, if he’s that guy who outlived julius caesar then I think therell be some protection….the romans were dour fighters renowned for their gallantry.

    18. Hi Miss/Mrs.Tay ( Gingko Nuts ),

I thought you love to eat Gingko nutsso much and that was why you name yourself as Gingko.

Btw has Gingko nuts as claimed by scientific research really help you in your memory ?

      Adios Steven

    19. Hi Lily & Yew Kwong

Yew Kwong – Thanks for updated Lily of my name.

LiLy – Please update my surname to Loh not Low. My official name is Loh Lay Kheng.

      Annie Loh

    20. Hi Lily,

My two friends, Elizabeth & Janet are already
members. Sorry they don have computer leh ! So
I sign up for them and I know that this is
      strictly for member only.

      Thanks !

    21. Cheryl, thanks for your understanding and clarification. It’s never easy to organise an outbound tour for 2 scores or more. Eligibility and every relevant detail of the participants has to be furnished timely, clearly and correctly.

We do understand that not everyone of us has access to the computer, and for those who have access, they might not be totally comfortable with using English as the mode of correspondence. The Computer sub-group hopes to address the 2nd problem.

    22. Hi Lily,
Nah, I still think that you are a beta event organizer for this den I am la…

See those details that you recently updated in the post are reli impressive and clear lor.. rite, everyone???

OK, now for the final tour fare, for quad sharing, they will hv to pay $79 + $2 (driver) + $2 (tour guide), total $83 rite??

Pls email a copy of tour itinerary to my email address, ok?? thanks…dolly

    23. Hi Lily & Terence,

Although I won’t be joining but just thought I’d point out the error in the pricing which states $79 for Twin sharing and $99 for quad sharing which I believe shd be the other way round as listed in your breakdown msg.

      Correct me if I’m wrong.

Wishing you all “Happy Holidays” in Batam. Lisa

    24. Thanks Lisa – for spotting the error.

Dolly – submit particulars and pay money before you get tour itinerary. Now you know how my closing date works?

Aiyoh, $2/- nett lah. ($1/- each to the driver & the guide) mah! That means : ($79+$2=$81) or ($99+$2=$101)

    25. OK, noted the final tour fare, will make arrangement to pay lor..

Since we are going for the local city tour first upon arrival, then it would be good if we can know the # of paxs that the tour bus can take lor so that at least we can ensure that members will be together in 1 tour bus rather than split up lor.. dolly

    26. Hi Lily

We will pay you when we see you on 30th.
      S$81.00 x 4 = 324.00 total

      See yah !

Thanks Organiser. You are super efficient !

      Cheers,
      Susan

    27. Hi Lily

Wld U offer another option to pay by internet banking?

Pay by cheque I worry the postman never deliver it.

Pay by cash when I see you I worry you may drop it.

Pay by internet banking my bank meets your bank and hands in the money.

    28. Hi Lily,

I was thinking about that too… internet banking. Any possibility?

Will e-mail my pp details to you. Pls tell me your e-mail address.

Thank you for organising the trip. Well done!

      Gingko

    29. Hey Dolly – u mai kaypo can anot ha? Why u think I don’t put in the closing date? Hv discussed with Terence to leave date open until we hit 40 pax so that we can hv the whole bus to ourselve. When I need help n your bossiness to round up these 40 people, you’ll definitely be the first one I call on hor. But for now, mai ka chow can??

Yew Kwong – internet banking can – I have account in POSB,DBS,UOB. The only problem is : when I see money come in but I won’t know from who? You want to collect for me then pay me one lum sum?

Seriously, anyone having problem in paying with cheque – can email or call me to make alternative arrangement. Otherwise, cheque payment stands.

Thanks Susan – for your compliment, but it takes two hands to clap. All of you have been very supportive and co-operative. I sincerely thank you all and hope that we can have a good time together, laugh and learn from each other’s mistakes.

    30. Very ez to chk. Members paying through internet banking must notify you by email or sms after the fund is transfer to your account.

If you wld like me to assist you in this area, I m all for it. If ok, you can list my account numbers info –
      1) POSB Savings 096248873
      2) UOB Current 1343021106

I will update your bank account and you the paid members every morning.

    31. Hi guys!

I saw my name on the list but can’t remember signing up for the event. Also, is Ronald Wi attending and as my room-mate? I don’t see him posting any comments even as “Guest”.

I think I need Ronald to confirm before I make any decision to sign up.

    32. Thanks Yew Kwong – for your offer. I was only joking.

It is exactly what I have in mind when I ask people who want alternative payment mode to contact me directly. I will then give them my account no. This way, I can keep track of their payment without further hussle.

Adding your bank details and asking people to contact you, then you collect and then pay me – kinda complicate matters. I like to keep things simple. In any given situation, I alway asked myself : “How can I do these the shortest way?”

Another eg. Dolly suggested getting forms from Tour agent, attach forms to email, then send out to people to collect their info. Wouldn’t it be simpler if I just ask them to email me the info?

Thanks anyway. I’m sure I’ll manage.

    33. Hi Lily, Ken, Benson,

Think Terence ask me and i said ok. Ken, not sure how you can got in ,maybe it sounds like ‘Can’.

Lily, Terence, Benson (as requested), me and Ken will take the villa, if possible any more guy? Is there a limit to the number in a villa, extra beds ?

I dont need to sleep in a room , just a bed or sofa will do, more fun, who knows may not be sleeping much also right ?

      Cheers,
      Allrounder aka Ronald

    34. Lily,

Please register for Ann To also. She has to attend to some urgent matter and are unable to access the PC. Just put her name in first, allocation of room later, have to check with her. Thank you.

      Ah Nee

    35. Ya Allrounder

What the talking you huh?? .. Lily, Terence, Benson, you and Ken in one villa – and you want more guys?

Can you please speak English ….

    36. Let’s imagine a bit more………….just book one villa and take in all the 40. That way we save cost, enjoy the time to be together all the time, has the numbers to counter any outside threat and there’s no better way of really getting to know each other.

    37. Thanks Anthony,

You are the first to submit your particulars to me. Actually no, Tim was the first, but he submitted half nonsense so I don’t know whether to take him seriously or not.

    38. If you cant take me seriously, there’s none in this world you can.

Ok, let’s invite readers as the jury. Isubnitted thus :

Name : xxx Passport No. xxx Date of Expiry : xxx Occupation : xxx Sex : Last had in 2005.

Now, let’s wait for the jury to return with their verdict.

    39. Hi.Lily
      Submitted particulars.I’m 66.Pls don’t tell anybody,except you & me.ok…
Cheque posted,if you do not receive, must be the postman lost it.ha ha

    40. Lily,

Wow, this is a big group. Great opportunity to know one another better.

I also want to tell my room mates Anthony Lee, Yew Kwong and Tim that I have not been reported for snoring. If you snore, let me know, and I shall bring my earplugs.

Let me know if anyone needs earplugs.

      Terence Seah

    41. You 66, she born in 56 so 6656 or 5666 for the wkend’s 4-D?

Btw, my tip to Kenneth on the soccer matches tiok ka liao. Man Utd drew 0-0 with Chelsea, and Drogba did score a goal in extra time. This morning, AC Milan hit the net twice with 2 lucky shots, and Liverpool replying in the 87th minute.

Terence, I hv come clean with my confession on snoring which, not that I want to frighten you but it’s true, has flattened mountains and caused tsunamis so earplugs wont help; in fact, dangerous bcos the force of my snoring decibels will push the earplugs into the windpipe and get stuck there, with the panting for breath sounding more like an orgasm. So better not to bring yr ears to avoid any misunderstanding why you make that arrh arrh sound in a room with men.

    42. Terence – will you be sleeping at all?

I thought you planned to booze the whole night out? There are duty free shops at both end – but, Batam is cheaper and you can also get local tit-bits to go with the booze.

I’ll provide 2 decks of card for black-jack. Who wants to be the banker??

    43. Ya Tim Liu

Who care about your occupation and when you last had sex.

What is your DOB? and are you a Singapore citizen? I need these last 2 info to complete your particulars.

And when are you going to make payment?

    44. I born 5256, nominated the best spore citizen 51 times and was pipped as many times. You go Caroline’s t-oarty or not? If go, pay you there lor. If not, how to pay you i.e. where to send my cheque and in what payee’s name? How much huh…………..?

    45. Haha, Lily, they hv closed the casinos in Batam & you want to start 1 at sijori, heee, si liao gor ng chai cho ni.

Blackjack, crimson queen or king scared till blue…………..all tim ah liu can. You tongbang him, you also become can & eat abalones; you tongbang Terence, you kenna canned with his crawlies.

    46. Received with thanks, the particulars of the following members : Tim, Anthony, Cyeo, Gingko, Terence, Mary, Ann Lim, Susan & Yew Kwong. (Will Mrs. Mary Tan please contact me.)

Hopefully, the rest will follow. The earlier I can submit our particulars to the tour operator, the better is our chance of getting all our rooms within the same building block.

    47. Hi guys and also Allrounder!

Ronald, thanks for your reply, but unfortunately I have to miss this event this time.

Reading the posts, I’m sure I’ll miss all the “happenings” and “ongoing sheenanigans”. Could someone take videos and post them for us to share?

Put Tim Liu, Allrounder and Benson in one room and Terence, Yew Kwong and maybe Anthony in the other room: you’d get a stereophonic orchestra to compete with the crickets and cicadas in the night.

Again, my apologies for not being able to attend.

    48. Tim Liu Says: You Kwong does worry me a bit.

terence Says: I have not been reported for snoring.

      Hi fellow room-mates

Tim, here’s a secret I want to share. My snoring is stronger than my last “essay”. If it might cause a nightmare I must apologise in advance. lol

Terence, guess U better bring more earplugs this round. lol

    49. Kenneth, looks like I must talk to her and apply for a harbeus corpus to release you at least on wkends.

Sheenanigans was trained by Ivan Allan (or was it Teh Choon Beng?) and won several races in the 80s. It must be long dead so unlikely anyone cd take videos and post them.

Jokes aside, Kenneth, do enjoy what you may be doing that wkend even if you were to put meat to bones on Sheenanigans, revive and make it run again.

As there might be reluctant late withdrawals due to the unforeseen, Lily reading, to facilitate yr pairings, I am easy so you can pair me with any numbers, anyone, male, female and those undecided whether they’re male or female. (heee, in any case I’ll be sleeping from room to room, villa to villa).

    50. With 2 champion snorers in Yew Kwong & tim, not just sijori cant sleep, even spore wont get to sleep.

So since only YK & T can sleep, the rest dont need a room or villa. Cost savings & easy for Lily.

    51. Hi Lily,
Wow, its been a long while since I stayed up all night, playing cards & chatting. Don’t know whether there is any stamina left to re-live the good old days.
Anyway, let me know when you are ready to submit. I will have to make a decision then.

    52. Don’t worry LH Jie,

Most likely, only the organisers’ villas will stay open. There are plenty other villas you can sleep in as long as you don’t go to the snoring one. Actually, …. the snoring one is the one that will stay open.

    53. Hi Lily,
my wife and i r keen to join in but some concern abt malaria which i understand is endemic. what precautions sijori has taken and what advice given to visitors that u r aware of?
also, can we park our cars at the ferry terminal and fees? info appreciated. tks
      cheers!
      Henry

    54. Dear Henry

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever is more dangerous and rampant in Singapore right now than the problem of Malaria in Batam (according to my internet searches). In both cases, mosquito is the cause. At least, Malaria is preventable by getting a shot or a course of Malaria tablets at a GP. You’ll have to do it within a certain period before travel though. In any case, one should never travel anywhere with tropical climate without mosquito repellent. I’ll definitely have mine with me and if you like, you can share mine.

Really hope you and your missus will come along. With such a homogeneous group, I’m sure we will all have fun.

    55. Our crawlie king will be at sijori so all insects will be living their last days b4 committing suicide en masse than to be grilled alive.

Anyhow, our fate is written up there so whether a coconut falls on my head and keeps me dazed for days bcos I wore a skullcap, or a ballon hits my face, blocks me from seeing an oncoming train …….. Everythg is fated so enjoy more, worry less.

    56. Hi Jie,
Actually hor, me not suppose to kai chow under strict instruction by Lily – LOL… but hor.. definitely cant resist to pen down this lor…

Look at the name list so far, I bet this is definitely going to be a vry vry fun outing… so beta dun miss it lor…. tis kind of opportunity dun come often…

    57. Hi Lily,

Sorry, not able to join this trip. Going to miss all the fun. Please delete my name off cos I will be participating in a bowling tournament on 7 July 2007. Thanks.

    58. Hellooo Dolly, Well..hello Dolly
Its so nice of you to encourage me
maybe at the expense of incurring Lily’s wrath on you.
      Its still a maybe…right now….Tks

    59. Hi Trip Members

Let me say some fair words here. Pls pay promptly to ease the work of organiser.

Tks n appreciate as I dont want you guys to miss this trip.

    60. To ensure that my mailed payment which i sent out 2day reaches Lily 2nite, I had affixed 2 postage stamps. Dont think anyone can beat me to that unless he asks alonso or schunmacher to deliver by hand.

    61. Thanks Yew Kwong – I really do need people to be more co-operative in making payment and submitting their particulars.

Names highlighted in yellow – indicates payment received.

Have emailed itinerary to Yew Kwong, Ann Lim, Mary Tan, Gingko, Anthony Lee already. Maria Tan & Ann Young – I don’t have your email address.

Ann Young – Passport must be valid for at least 6 months on departure. Yr pp expires Nov 2007. Pls renew yr pp asap. You don’t want to get stuck at Batam immigration (they won’t let you enter) and then you’ll have to return to S’pore on your own.

Agnes Tan – Your passport expiry TBA, presumably it is being renewed. Also, you did not confirm whether you are a SHC member or not. Pls advise asap.

Dolly – I will bring your cheque to Zouk for your signature tomorrow (I mean Wed) night.

Terence – You did not confirm whether your payment via inter-bank transfer completed or not.

Ronald Wi – you are the only one left in your villa. Your 2 other buddies played you out.

    62. The villa assigned to Ronald, Benson & anor is said to be “dirty”…..it was used by the hangman to hang his underpants & socks so does it surprise that Benson wants to hangout somewhere else ?

    63. Ya lor, ‘I don’t like to sleep alone(in case of pretty ladies that come thru the door or windows)’ and also need someone to ‘Help me make it through the nightto pay for half the price of the room lah).

What is this, so i will not be going lah will go to Pattaya instead, eat Thai salad papaya, and act like old lang kaya there , at least $100 can become 2200 baht.

      Cheers
      Allrounder

    64. Lily,

Susan, Norlinda, June Lim an myself will paid up tom night when we meet up for ZOUK. Cash, boleh? We will also give you our Passport particulars. See you.

    65. Hey guys

Not sure if Lily feels secured to carry with her that much of cash on top of your particulars. What if they are lost, stolen or dropped? Alternatively, provide her with a cheque crossed in her name and your particulars via email.

Security must not be comprised for convenience. :D

    66. Haha thanks Yew Kwong. I was about to answer Ah Nee but you are faster. You are right on. With no one to jaga handbags … What if … dancing dancing, cash drop …. how ?? Lock them in the car? .. but have to give car key for valet parking ….

Prefer to receive crossed cheque if you don’t mind. But if you don’t have a choice, then ok lah, … I’ll take the risk. Yew Kwong will have to be my body guard lor ….

    67. Calling calling………………Coming coming, professional jaga is coming.

For a fee, tim ah liu will guard everythg, from handbags to head baskets; cash to sash; keep yr crossed cheque & give you crossed eyes. You can happily do yr ballet in the park without worrying abt valet parking. Very brisk, no risk.

      Ai mai?

    68. Haha Tim Liu,

No thanks – even if your service is @ FOC …. Stay home and jaga your daughter instead. We have YKwong, Andrew & RonLee.

    69. Ok lah, in that case I will email you our pp particulars and crossed the cheque to you tomorrow. Pai seh, Ykwong you can enjoy yourself tomorrow liao, no need to be bodyguard and Tim, your FOC service also rejected.

      Ah Nee

    70. You pretty but not so smart leh & I tell you why.

If you find Yew Kwong, Andrew & Ron Lee good looking like D24 and so want them to add stylo mylo, surely, the other gals at zouk will too find them yentow and want to steal them. End up huh, you’ll be jaga-ing the guys the whole nite, walking from table to table to warn the gals off, getting uptight & worried, dare not go pee…………..but you choose yr fate.

For me, I free liao, bo tai ji.

    71. ANee, post yr particulars here leh…………..tim ah liu might find inspiration to tip SHCians what 4-Ds to buy…….lately hor, his hand wind very smooth leh (sou feng soon).

And I hv a different worry for Yew Kwong – not as a bodyguard but to see his body shredded into parts with you gals pulling, snatching him and tearing him into pieces> We guys might not be able to put him back to D24 but to a R2D2 of the star wars fame.

    72. Tim, you mad or what! how can I tell the whole world my secret, especially we ladies are sensitive to our age. But you should know we are all over 45 leh…ha…ha…and I am “gum gum” 45+++ loh!!!4-D, you can buy 4545 lah.

      Ah Nee

    73. Itinerary sent to Prisilla Wee, Serene Tay, Tim Liu & Annie Giri aka Annie Young.

Joy Chuang & Veron Lee – I don’t have yr email address. If you want a copy of the itinerary, pls email or sms me yr email address.

    74. Hi Lily

Appreciate if you could email the itin to me, you have my email address cos I’ve sent you an email on 27/5/07 at 3am.

      Thanks, VeronLee

    75. Thanks Joy – for your understanding. You are right about the heaps of email. Since I’ve been on the website so much, I’ve got junk mail, sales mail and “hum sap” mail. So, please excuse me – Veron, sorry.

Julie Guan – I’ve included yr name in the list. There may be one or two who will back out last minute. Otherwise, you can bunk in with us (w extra bed). Don’t think we will sleep very much anyway.

Dan Huang – pls call me. I need some verification from you. Also, you might have to bunk in with the guys if no more guys register. You’ll have to put up with the snoring and the open house casino though.

    76. ANee, we a;; know you’re the daughter of Mr & Mrs Lee, from the Lee family, everythg you do is in the tradition of the Lees so what more secrets we dunno leh?

Heeeee, “gum gum” is very suggestive leh cos it reminds of chewing gum and the gum is amazing cos you hv to chew it and chew brings to mind a slow, gentle meticulous biting without tearing….

Yes, thanks Lily, I hv received the itinerary. (Since Lily has lowered her roller pins, I’ll let a little of the cat out of the bag…..the fare actually includes a city tour of the principal attractions (for both sightseeing & shopping) on the first day ending very late in the afternoon. Personally, I think it’s value for $).

    77. Dear Daphne

There’s no posting by you on 30/5. I’ve spoken to so many, can’t remember who is who. In any case money talks. Pls pay up and submit particulars asap. Also, only way to confirm u are SHC member is to post yr comment on the website.

Meanwhile, have roomed you with Julie Guan in twin sharing. ie. $101 per person. Julie’s payment is already on it’s way.

    78. Dear All,

Please do see the good of making early payment as it facilitates Lily’s finalising of the booking with the tour operators so that she wont be distracted and can get on with her other personal chores and routines. It’s never easy to volunteer and we are glad that she did.

Your kind understanding is much appreciated.

      Thanks a lot !

      tim

    79. Thanks Tim – never seen you so sober before.!

Appreciate both you and Yew Kwong’s concern for me by prompting the rest to co-operate.

Thank you both – tai kor & yee kor.

    80. Ya man…Tim’s latest comment sounds like a memo from the office. He must have just given someone a piece of his mind, or received one piece of someone’s mind…

    81. Lily

      Thanks for all the effort.

Tim – finally you have decided to speak your mind. ie appreciate Lily for what she has done. U know – when two elephants fight, all the ants around will die. At last, we can now have peace of mind. Long live eveybody in Batam!

    82. WILL THE REST OF THE UNPAID PAX (Names not Highlighted) PLEASE PAY UP NOW.!!

      Dear Daphne,

All the answers to your queries are on the website (this one and the latest on tour itinerary). Pls read my web posting which is continuously being updated including room allocation. My apologies, I really don’t have time to answer individual email enquiries.

To all – Room allocation is on ‘available’ basis. I cannot accommodate last minute request to room you with whomever you like. You can switch room with each other after check-in.

Hope to have your understanding. I really do feel inadequate for not being able to meet everyone’s request but I will strive to do what I can to meet your expectation.

      Thank you.

    83. Lily, Yew Kwong may be yr tai kor & tim yr e-kor but yr tai kor is actually yr e-kor’s tai por relegated to e-lai……………yes, it’s complicated & confusing.

Joy, you surely can read me very well, that I was giving some1 a piece of my mind (never the other way round hor). Maybe I shall accord you the privilege of being the first to read my sole which tells the 2nd part of my life.

Haha, Eliza, I ant nevermind but now that you hv brought in an elephant for Lily, you die liao. She has broken all the mirrors at home and is heading yr direction with her (by now) infamous roller pins and baseball bats………..heeeee, quickly sos that ever-on-standby for women’s servant, swordman, gallant knight.

    84. Tim

Women are from Venus and Men from Mars – being “venusion” – we are compassionate, display great sense of humour, takes everything in our stride. Elephants or ants it doesn’t matter – we have what it takes.

    85. Hi Lily & Team,

Thank you very much for all the hard work in organising this trip. We are looking forward to it.

We will be away from 4 to 16 June 07 and may not have internet access during this period.

If there are any changes in the plan and a response from us is required, we will do so asap when we return home:)

      Cheers!

      Philip & Priscilla Wee

    86. Hi All

Nice to “read/hear” from each others esp. on this coming Batam trip. Do have a good & fruitfull time. IF times permit, I may register last mins.

    87. Eliza, it beats me why women love to claim that they’re from Venus but we men are honest and grateful enough to admit that we come not from Mars but from Moms.

Haha, agreed, you’ll really hv to take everything in your strides……hastening leaping strides as my jehjeh comes striking with her roller pins from Venus of cos.

Very nice of you, Mr & Mrs Wees, in notifying Lily of your impending trip. Whether you’re heading for Venus or Mars, we wish you a great holiday !

    88. Thank you,Tim.

Mars and Venus are beyond our dreams.Dare not even think of the moon.

Like the frog in the well,we have not seen much of the planet Earth yet.

We’re just going to a few places in Italy with our church group.

We know Lily & Team have been working very hard to organise the Batam trip. It is not a simple task.

As we will be away for almost 2 weeks, we may not be able to respond to her instructions or requests regarding the trip. It is only basic courtesy that we inform her.

      Philip & Priscilla Wee :)
