Our little holiday in Korea Dec.2007

Dear SHC Friends   emoticon

A group of us went on a 6D/4N Korea Winter Escapade last December.  We spent our Christmas there but were back right after Christmas in time to join in the count-down at Safra Mt. Faber.

The group comprises of :

  1. Grace Kok (our SHC cover girl)
  2. Margaret Tian (sometime you see her at cycling)
  3. Andrew Yeung (sotong from HK)
  4. Dan Huang (danzing Dan)
  5. Rene Leong (the teeny bopper)
  6. Lily Ho (EO for this trip)
  7. Sophie Willocq (Lily’s daughter)
  8. Chester and Yu Zhong (Rene’s 2 sons)

Here’s our pictures taken with Dan Huang’s camera which Terence so kindly set up for us in this link : http://www.silverhairsclub.com/SHC/Korea%20trip%200712/

Hope to have more travel trips with SHCians in the near future.

  1. With so much covered up, not much cd be seen, so disappointing, not even 1 was in beach=wear…………..and that magistrate in blue brings back memories of the humsup chiko magistrate of days bygone, hiding yuan bao in that baggy gown…………..

  2. Yes..nice Korea..but i so kesian, not much food to eat, only kimchi!..susah lah

AhNee,remember our trip?the most unforgettable hot spring experience!now im looking back at our photos..we went to visit the HerbalLand..thats the most shiok, we can eat the leaves & flowers in the garden!..they prepare salad, its so tasty & yummy..
Yr last 2 photos above are the shopping alley,is that rite Lily?..
maybe its winter, u all din go Lotte World?..I love the rides, not scared as in LA..
    wow!..yr ski trip looks exciting!
but how come so many photos on ‘cooking class’?..wat u all do ah?

But June…i wont go Korea again lah…so many other places to visit ..hehehe

To Lily & gang….sori i yak too much on yr thread…just cant help it, all the memories so perfect & clear…its just like yesterday!
    suddenly i recall…i left a korean ‘boyfren’…the bus driver lah!….hahaha!

  3. Nor Sayang – it’s ok….cakup disini pun boleh.

We were at the Lotte World but most of us got split up for different acitivities. See 3 group pictures towards the end. We were also at the Everland but my daughter was ill and wanted to sleep. So I stayed with her on the bus. At the hot spring spa, cameras weren’t allowed as there were naked bodies everywhere.

Also, these photos were only the ones from Dan’s camera. There are others from the cameras of Andrew, Margaret, Rene, Grace and my daughter which weren’t included here. Too many.

  4. Norly,

How come that time in Korea, we never wear their Korean traditional costumes for photo shoot? See….Lily and gang, all look like Korean actor & actress..very nice leh! Btw Lily, how much you have to pay for the costumes? Norly & Lily, can’t help laughing when we are at the hot spring spa……. :)

    Ah Nee

  5. Hi Ah Nee

We didn’t have to pay anything for the costumes – part of the kim-chi making package. Last year I had the same thing too (at a different kim-chi school). That’s why this year I didn’t bother and be the cameraman instead. If everybody is busy making kim-chi, no one will be free to take pictures rite?

  6. Andrew…u wont get black eye this time…u mean Lily cant be camerman bcos she too pretty must be the subject lah…if not the photos wont be charming mah?..correct?

ahNee..that time our tour don hv kimchi making, that’s why no costume,we went not snow time also, but we went to the cave

Lily..let us see all yr photos next time when we meet up for cycling..then we bring ours..so nice & we can laugh together..
hey..any hotspring photos tak boleh show here, if not kena tangkap polis!
