Dear fellow members,

to share what you have learnt in your dancing classes.

It’s only with your participation, will our first monthly gathering cum dance demonstration be

successful !

So, be don’t be shy to put on that pairs of dancing shoes.

    Hi James,

Your slot 2 should read 7.30-7.45pm. What’s a challenging tasks for you to cope! Are you considering to include line dancing?

Lily Ho, shall we perform the Latin cha cha as we did at the last D n D or coming up with a new set of dance?

Molly Chus, how about a dance item, perhaps Waltz? Now that the SNF is down with a fever, let’s channel the energy here!

Ron Wie, how about getting your jamming team to sing and the dancers will follow in tune?

It’s a time to destress and unwind and at the same time riding on the unhappiness that beset us! Sometimes going through a bad patch helps us to re-inforce the good things in life that we took for granted!

At this point in life, let’s dance whenever the occasion called for, let’s sing the blues away, let’s live as there so much to live for!

Let’s make this monthly gathering something different. Put our hands together to help James. There will also be a lot of new friend to meet, let’s also make it a time for healings!

    Hi James

Thanks for your invitation to perform at your coming Oct’s gatherings. Alice and I are sorry to say that we are not able to accept, as we have a prior engagement on a wedding reception on that day in question. Moreover, we do dance only for enjoyment ourselves and for fun, we do not like to perform.

We wish you the best endeavour in the forth-coming dance show case.

    Ron n Alice Lai

  1. Dear Dan

What do you mean “Lily Ho, shall we perform….?”. Halo, the team is not just you and I alone hor. You must address all members of the team mah. (Ah Nee, Caroline, Eliza, Lily, Norlindah, Boon Lian, Dan, Dennis, John & Yew Kwong.)

Anyway, the stage is too small for our ‘Cherry Blossom’. Also, my choreography was based on 4-walls as we performed for the D&D on the dance floor surrounded by audience. At Tangerine, there will only be one facing. As such, quite a lot of changes will have to be made to the dance.

To me, performance is meant more for formal occasion where (no matter how minimum) choreography, regular training, costume, etc. are required.

In my opinion, it would be better to do something simple. Something that can be taught and easily picked up on the spot. Keeping it spontaneous will encourage participation and is more fun than putting up a show. Those who are attending the SatNiteFever, will be able to contribute in this aspect.

  2. Dear Lily,

Obviously I would expect the whole group to perform. Just that I need your consent before approaching the rest!

I agree that we have to adapt to the size of the stage. what your feels, can all of us do it together again or even a new dance routine. Hope the other with come forward to make this another ocassion to practice for new dance item!

Have to be simple, truly not a performance but another opportunity to portray what we have learn so far.

Well, it means what is starkly clear to my reading i.e to perform as starkly as you both can; it doesnt hv to be elaborate and in so many styles like they do at Patpong. If you like a tag-team kind of performance, why not altho at our age, stamina can be an issue. The stage is small but then how much of a blossom will yr cherry go even at maximum dilation after titillation?
