Members’ Got Log Out

Of late, there seems a good number of members, both new n golden, had encountered logging in issues.  Hair pulling, head banging n nail biting were what they get out of frustration. I believe the only way to resolve this is to find appropriate solutions. Let’s come 2gether, especially the I.T. n computer savvy members, to help iron out this teething issue. May we?

Then we shall start here!!!

Members who have problems pls post comments.

Members who have soltuions pls post comments.

Members who wish to provide I.T. services or lessons on private basis pls post comments. It means employment for you.

  1. Hi YK,

I think you started another timely post to address any
pertinent I.T problem. This one I got recently.

When I first started on my recently bought PC (DIY set with
    no O/S), I partition it into 3 drives – C, D and E. My C
drv is meant as the main drive, D for application and data
    storage and E for backup.

Unfortunately, some 3 months down the road, ALL the data in
my D drive totally disappeared and a message props up ”
Drive D is unformatted. Do you want to format now?”
Directories in C and E were not affected.

I tried to use the Window Restore point as part of the Win
XP but a message appeared that “Update after dd-mm-yyyy
cannot be restored for drive D”.

What could be the cause and is there any way I can recover
my data in drive D (I still have not reformat it yet.)

    Please advise.
