Mahjong Session – October 31, 2009

In conjunction with our Flea Mart and Monthly gathering, I intend to also book their Mahjong Room at Safra. Patrick Khoo has kindly consented to help me oversee the event.

Place: Safra Mount Faber

Time: 10.00am – 6.00pm

The Mahjong Room have four tables, you will be charge ‘water money’ at $2.00 per hour. I need your indication whether I should proceed to book the room. Closing date 31 September 2009.

Do bear in mind that this is for recreational purpose and no gambling is allowed, and no cash to be exchanged. You are free to choose your own kakis and do let Patrick know and he will help to co-ordinate the seating.

Those who want to learn are welcome. The room is fully-air-conditioned. This is your opportunity to come and relax with fellow members and let have an enjoyable time  together!

Any excess collected will be used for tid-bits or drinks

    I have already expressed my interest to participate to both Patrick and also to Dan directly about the mahjong event and the payment respectively. I am now officially posting it as requested by Dan.

    I am not a rookie and neither can I say I am very good but I can play. I wish to join for the whole day session from 10am to 6pm. Let me know on how to proceed payment for the event.

    Noted your interest in the mahjong game. We are hoping for other kakis to response. So sit tight and wait for more member to sign up. The closing date is September 31, and only then do we know whether to go ahead to book the mahjong room!

    So sorry for late response.
    Well, see if I can still join in the MJ SESSION (since it is JUST 4 FUN only!) from 2pm – 6pm? Prefer to play with “Seniors” Group!
    I’ve only met a couple of you before and will be looking forward to know more people through this activity!

    We have booked the Mahjong Room at Safra which has four tables. So far we have takers for 3 tables with 1 table still available.

    Those who want to learn how to play mahjong may take this opportunity. We will arrange for someone to coach you. The timing is from 10.00am to 6.00pm, you may choose to play for a half session or full session. Let Patrick Khoo know and he will arrange the session for you.
