Jetstar airticket return to Haikou is about $130 inclusive of 20kg baggage. M thinking of going there 4 for short holi for relaxing time. No intention of going towards to places, like Sanya, Xin Long or Dong Hai as been there too many times. Just will be enjoying the scenic places around in Haikou, massage, reflexology, shopping, etc etc… For these, I think 5-days holi would be just nice lor.. anyone 1 2 come along wif me.
Of cos, for those thinking of going for a longer days to explore further south, you can do so at your own. I can try to get our Haikou fren to scout a reasonable tour package for you lor..

Aiyo, beh sai la, arriving 5pm at Haikou n leaving abt 3pm from Haikou, like dat hor, 1 day gone liao lor.. If trvl on different budget airline hor, expensive la… bo wah lor..

I have booked also JetStar airline returned ticket @$159 including insurance together with my brother from 11th october to 22nd october 2010. We are also keen to go to the Shanghai Expo from Haikou in between this period. Please advise whether there are any package tour available from Haikou to Shanghai,and with itinerary inclusive of this Shanghai Expo package deal. Will appreciate your advise since both of you are seasoned travellers to Haikou.Thank you..Bobby

What I know is that airfare from Haikou to Shanghai is reasonably cheap but due to Shanghai Expo, hotel accom there quite expensive n might b fully booked. I m not 2 sure of any package from Haikou 2 Shanghai as I only traveled previously 2 Shanghai mostly 4 meeting and all arrangement was handled by the factory’s appointed agent. Veronique told me dat those popular attractions at d Expo will need 2 wait at least 4 to 5 hours so her advice is dat bring along a foldable chair as more locals are doing so.
