  2. Hi Tim Liu
Is nice to know that you and Lily are interested in dancing, why dont you lend her a KAKI leh, so that you will not have to sit at a corner to drool, but join us to gaylek gaylek lor he he…

  3. Thanks Ronald (and Alice too?).

While Lily is interested in dancing, is she interested in me (and I still tossing the coin whether I shd be interested in her). While I can be quick to lend her my kaki, I am afraid she may be slow to return it to me………….no joke stumbling & fumbling about with only 1 leg, nevermind that i do hide a shorter one.

  4. Hi Tim Kor,

Remember Tim, DANCING is EASY. Just express your MOVEMENTS by Swinging your BELL and

WRIGGLING your BUM… Remember the song “Ring my Bell”

  6. Thanks Ron,
I am already doing the man’s steps in some of my dance classes, although I also do the lady’s steps with male partners.

    Hey Tim Liu,
It’s only dancing, not asking you to marry me!! In any case, if one takes up dancing for the wrong reason, it will never work. Dancing should come from the heart.

    Steven,
How about you, would you like to dance?

  7. Hi all,

Hymm, no one man enough to show their steps it seems.

I would like to try everything while i can and so may not be around sometimes, though the heart is there.

Am also a bit stiff (actually trying to act cool but seems more like a dead log or heartlesslah) even when doing country line dances, though i can remember the steps.

So if Lily can accept all the above, then can call me to get the class moving. Just like to support and get things going, especially if people are interested to start anything.

    Cheers,
    Allrounder (Ronald)

  8. Calling, calling 1…2………….3, calling for Andrew Yeung.

Now that we hv a white knight in glistening armour to the rescue of a damsel yearning for a danz, the wutang hero famous for his chase-wind 8 steps, shdnt let the knight take the cherry without competition. I bet it’ll be a close call, a head-popping all the way to the wire, with the winner dancing with our very own queen of dances, and the loser dancing with eyes squint.

  9. Well, well Steven, I have it and so have you so why asked me to flaunt it when, knowing the law, you tie it back with rubber bands and hide it behind 3 pairs of pants?

Annabelle, the belle who earned us another First World fame? Sure, I hv watched her in CD and now know that some women can be very versatile if they want to. For love for money……………

Haha, by tipping tim ah liu that dancing is by swinging your bell, you unwittingly gave yrself away. Unlike you I dont hv bells. But I have no problem if you want me to ring you bell, or even to wring it.

Aiyah, Lily, I know you can do the man’s steps but will you do the step-man which has that lasting therapeutic effect? If you do, sure, marry marry lor.

We saw what a great dancer Steven was at the D&D but that’s not all. He too likes to do the belly-hop, skip, squelch, squawk, sommersault, wringing his bell. …..everything and anything which makes him shiok. Right, Steven?

  10. Hi Lily
Is nice to know that you also know the man’s steps in some of your dances. It will greatly help you in any social events or parties, where usually, more often than not, we may come across the uneven genders.

In reference to the dance class mentioned earlier, it will be starting on Thursday next, 4th May, 2007 (@ 2.30 – 3.30pm).

Allrounder, is nice to know that there are “beautiful” people like you in this planet who support all the “moves”, with or without
(quote) the therapeutic effect, that’s what the SHC is for. Unfortunately, we do not have, as yet, a permanently club house to call our own…..our very own, otherwise more events and happenings may come by for the benefits of all Silverhairs.

  11. Hi Tim

    I completely don’t understand your posting:”Calling, calling ….1..2……3.

Since we are buddies for a thousand years, right? Please don’t push me into the affairs among you, Steven, Ronald Wi and Lady Lily (Sorry Lily, mentioning your name).

Since my wife not around, I become a line dancing man (with many ladies around, but no one is mine), but surely not a social dance man (facing only one lady that is belong to mine)

So please “go toy kwai shou” and hear this song:”Please release me, let me go. Cause I don’t wanna to be involved ……….”

Thanks, thanks, thanks …… a thousand times

  12. Dear Ron Lai,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop on the dance class you’ve mentioned earlier. I’m not retired yet so, the class timing is not good for me. Also, for the next 3 months, I have dance classes in the evening from Mon to Thurs. Friday is the only night I’m free.

    Dear Ronald (aka Guest/Allrounders),
Thanks for offering to partner me. While it’s ok to skip class in line-dancing as the rest of the dancers can carry on without you. But in partner dance, if one half of the partner “no show” the other half can’t do anything. So, thanks but no thanks.

    Dear Andrew Yeung,
Don’t mind Tim Liu. He sometimes talk too much but say very little. Just carry on with your line-dancing. It’s good exercise and you are doing great.

  13. Hehehehe, Andrew, you very the steady, man. After declaring that you “completely don’t understand my posting”, you went on writing & writing, showing great understanding beyond what I actually had in mind but nevermind.

Ok ok for the sake of our swearing of brotherhood a thousand years ago, I must certainly release you from involvement (whatever was on yr mind) lest you start swearing at me after already tagging me a “go toy kwai shou” (to the uninitiated, that shd mean getai comical monster)

So, looks like I’ll hv to up my ante on Allrounder and learn the prance steps so that he wont get to walk away unchallenged with a dame sweeter than the morning lily.

Lily, here I come…………….(squelch squelch in big prancing steps………)

  14. Hi all,

Just thought i can join in and play, play lah, learn one dance or two whenever i am around lah. I know i like listening and playing whatever kind of rhumba songs but not sure will like the real dancing.

Hymm so serious one this Lily flower, no contract, no dance, not even one for fun.

Tim, good you finally caught the hint as to want this flower girl wants, so get on the dance floor, lah. Hey for Rhumba i think the men can almost practically stand and just hold the ladies hand, less steps to remember as compared to country line dance lah.

Well hope, there are others like me who just want to give a try, and take it from there, so there are can be more partners to swayp around and get the class started and going.

Ronald and Alice , thanks for your nice words and enthusiasm. Let me try and drag a few more lah, who may just want to try it for fun if this is ok with you.

No promises, no contracts, will try to do what i can, while i can.

    Cheers
    Allrounder

    Cheers

  15. Hi Andrew Yeung / Tim

Andrew wrote:- …Please don’t push me into the affairs among you, Steven, Ronald Wi and Lady Lily (Sorry Lily, mentioning your name).

What??? Infernal Affairs ? Ha ! ha !

Andrew wrote :-( Since my wife is not around, I become a line dancing man with many ladies around, but no one is mine, but surely not a social dance man facing only one lady that is belong to mine ).

Precisely, do NOT take Tim Ah Liu’s words at heart which has indeed HURT your feelings .

When he hurt you he FEELS SHIOK !

From now EVERYONE in SHC know that Ah Tim is
a JOKER like Mr.BEAN. And so Relax Man and take it easy and continue to enjoy your line dancing. Andrew, I must say that I enjoyed seeing your line dancing steps.

You can do it so CONFIDENTLY without looking down at your feet and your movements are so flexible.

No wonder, Tim is VERY ENVIOUS of you and try to poke FUN at you.

( And he is quite FRUSTRATED becos he CANNOT
    DANZ………..

( Tim wrote:_ Tim ah liu no know danz lagi more unfortunate, ok………..he can only sit quietly in a corner,

hangs his TONGUE OUT like my pet DOG “Cowboy ” starts to drool… saliva pouring over his baby’s beep as you dancers gyrate & gaylek till lempek………

    Steven

  16. Wow, Steven, “Infernal affairs”, a very big term leh but meaning wrong hor……..the dictionary I gave to you to read belonged to wang sa yeh fong for their comedy acts one lah.

You very orr sim leh, want the 3 of us dead and so can be involved in infernal affairs huh? No lah, we’re very much alive and kicking, and wont mind looking for tall butts to kick for fun. You got?

Trying hard to drive a wedge btwn my bro & me huh? Try harder since you have so much time in retirement, rather than teaching your poor dog to climb trees. And, hehehe, since you hv been so persistently insisting to carry us on yr sedan chair, ok lor, we will take the ride to the Botanical Gds. For that, tim ah liu will find yr dog a gf. You want? Dog with dog, Steven with hog.

Ya lor, so sad, tim ah liu doesn’t know how to danz……..you know huh? But doing the wang sa 2-hand-fry-kway-teow may be yr patented new pattern but is not approved dancing hor.

  17. Unlike line-dancing, Latin dances have sequence and routine. You can’t just come in for one lesson and expect to know how to dance ?!

Idiots??? – talk alot, drool alot, dream alot…. That’s all you are capable of. Not only I want to bash you with the rolling pin, but the baseball bat as well. Better watch out this coming Sunday ~”~

BTW, someone still owe me his photo ^^ and someone else owe me an answer ?? I will be collecting them after the bashing… haha looking forward to it.

  18. Allrounder, the flower wants a lot so if i give her everything, i must be mr blur-block so i will only keep her in my thoughts.

Rhumba scares me to a freak bcos it requires my everywhere to shake which means every of my bones will break, that kind of torture i wont take.

So for me to rhumba, i rather find a car to headon langa.

Unlike line-dancing, but like latin dances, chinese prance has sequence and routine e.g. the drunken steps which like a drunken crab, round your waist it wraps. You can’t just come in for one lesson and expect to know how to prance ?!

Heeee, the flower is so fierce one meh? Baseball bat….reminds me of that tiwary guy who bashed 2 of his fellow collegians to death. ok, tim ah liu must wear a turban under 5 helmets tis Sunday with an ambulance on standby & an operating table in it.

  19. Hey, I am Susan Tan. New arrival! Like your idea. Do count me in. But then, I do not have a partner and also not born to be a dancer. Maybe like to try.

  20. When I was a new arrival I cd only bawl and cry, waited to be fed and waited for my next change of diapers. I too, didnt have a partner and certainly was also not born to be a dancer.

I learned to walk closer to my 9th month.
